Exclusive Love: Pampered by the Scheming Tycoon-Chapter 384 - 385: Realizing She Has Really Grown Up
By the time Tong Keke had almost finished her meal, the wine in her glass was completely gone.
Gu Qianxi frowned as he noticed the red wine still clinging to her small lips. Did this little thing actually drink up the wine as if it were juice?
Did she have any idea how strong the aftereffects of alcohol could be?
Just as Gu Qianxi was worrying about her, her sparkling eyes suddenly turned to meet his. The clear and pure gaze transformed in an instant, like a lake shifting its colors, becoming hazy and dazed, very disoriented.
"Uncle, why are there two of you? One here, and one there!" Tong Keke propped her chin on one hand, swaying her head and giggling softly.
Gu Qianxi froze on the spot. This little one was clearly drunk; she had already started rambling drunken nonsense.
"Keke, are you drunk?" Gu Qianxi waved his hand lightly in front of her eyes.
"I’m not drunk!" It was a typical response from someone who clearly was.
Gu Qianxi had his doubts. Her gaze had become so unfocused, yet she still dared to insist she wasn’t drunk.
"Uncle, I feel a little hot. I want to take off my jacket." Tong Keke muttered as she began to reach for her coat.
"How strange, why doesn’t my hand have any strength?" She struggled with the buttons, finding her fingers weak and clumsy.
Gu Qianxi was speechless. These were obviously the signs of drunkenness, yet she remained stubborn.
"I’ll do it!" Gu Qianxi, aware that alcohol could make someone feel warmer, leaned down to help her unbutton the jacket.
"Uncle... you look so good in novels!" Just as Gu Qianxi, with a taut posture, was focused on undoing the buttons, the little one abruptly reached out to pull him close, wrapping her arms around his head. Her soft lips brushed near his ear as she giggled sweetly.
In an instant, Gu Qianxi felt his blood surge. What he didn’t expect was what came next—the little one bite down lightly on his earlobe.
"Keke... don’t do this!" The man’s voice, though seemingly stern, lost all of its usual authority, becoming husky and tremulous.
"I didn’t bite you! Oh... this isn’t edible?" Tong Keke suddenly blinked as if startled, then reached out her small hand to pinch his earlobe once more. "It’s so soft, so fun to pinch!"
Gu Qianxi was on the brink of madness. Did she even realize the kind of temptation these actions would pose to an adult man—how dangerous, how enticing they were?
Tong Keke, of course, didn’t understand the fire she was igniting. In her dazed state, filled with boldness fueled by drunken courage, she simply wanted to do everything she’d never dared to do before.
"Uncle, don’t push me away. Let me hold you for a while, just a little while. I promise I won’t tease you!" Tong Keke’s head felt heavy and foggy, seeking comfort. Her uncle was her safe haven, her place to shelter from the storm. She liked clinging to him, unwilling to leave.
Gu Qianxi genuinely wanted to push this mischievous little thing away, far out of reach, somewhere he couldn’t touch her.
But looking at the flush in her cheeks and the fine beads of sweat dotting her forehead, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. She was truly drunk, overwhelmed by the effects of the wine, rambling nonsense as a result.
Who could’ve guessed that she’d be so adorable, so funny, so irresistible when drunk?
"Silly girl, you could never tease me. If anything, I’m the one who wants to tease you!" Gu Qianxi said with a deep laugh.
"Uncle, what did you just say? Who do you want to tease?" Tong Keke, hearing his low voice through her haze, struggled to make out his words. She tried to widen her eyes, but it was no use—the fog wouldn’t clear, leaving her unable to see his face clearly.
Gu Qianxi stared down at the girl nestled against his chest, her warm breath brushing against him. He couldn’t help but admit that she was growing up.
