Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 78: The Bath
Neil’s vision turned dark, pain shooting through his body, but then he returned to normal.
There was a big smile on his face, of course hidden under the mask.
This sort of battle... it was too wild as adrenaline coursed through his veins, his heart beating wildly.
As Cinthia backed away, Neil rained down dozens of attacks on her.
His teacher before him was actually quite the battle enthusiast herself, her excitement was evident.
BOOM
Using a powerful whip slash, Neil’s body exploded into pieces, before reforming.
He didn’t pause for a moment, no matter how much pain he was experiencing, making Cinthia forget she was fighting someone so weak.
"Great, show me, how much you can endure!!" her emotionless voice was now full of excitement, her interest in Neil growing way quicker than just seeing his talent.
Battle was what mattered the most to her, and in this sort of battle, where Neil wouldn’t admit defeat, her strength and speed kept increasing.
Neil had died dozens of times in just a minute, but through the pain he could feel his efficiency increasing.
His control over Aquamorph and Slimemorph becoming better and better.
Without pausing, the wild battle continued for over two hours, and by the end of it, Neil lay on the ground.
He was breathing heavily, each breath burning his throat.
He had fought to the point that he couldn’t move a finger, but his performance had satisfied the battle freak snake queen.
This area felt completely like the real world, his body was covered in sweat and blood.
He could smell, feel, everything was too real.
"Great job!" she complimented, Cinthia herself was not sure if she could endure so much.
Though it was initially just because of her freedom, slowly she was accepting her student, and battle actually made them feel a bond.
"HUFF T- Thanks but I d- don’t think I can HUFF even m- move for a while..." he said, closing his exhausted eyes.
"We are not done yet, take a bath first and then we will work on your abilities.
You have to explore them more, connect with them, they hold much more than just using them straightforwardly.
A warrior never rests, either bleed now or when you are in a real fight!" Cinthia said, she seemed almost too excited.
Putting away the whip, she walked closer and placed one arm around him, pulling him to his feet.
Neil leaned onto her, she smelled really nice but it kind of reminded him of something.
’Hmm have I met her before?’ he wondered but under the exhaustion, his thoughts were messy.
And just like that, their training continued for the day.
Neil thought he would be done after a few hours, but his potential and performance made Cinthia put in too much effort.
And after some rest, he was back into shape, ready for as many battles as his teacher wanted.
They even chatted about normal stuff, as Cinthia explained various things about the lord world he didn’t know of.
He even questioned her about the phantoms.
They had only appeared a few times in the past, but each visit had brought so much destruction and it seemed they had certain goals in coming.
It wasn’t until nine in the night that Neil finally returned to his domain, feeling completely exhausted mentally.
Yet the excitement of battles grew in his heart and he was looking forward to more training.
Right upon returning, Neil ate food with Ileana who was still waiting for him.
Then the two took a walk around their domain, the blizzard was getting worse lately, covering everything in snow.
Yet not a single creature had been seen around lately.
After returning to his domain, Neil and Ileana chatted as they shared everything that happened during the day.
Then they fell asleep in each other’s comfortable embrace, sleeping while cuddling was Neil’s new favourite activity.
Maybe even more than the battles.

A few days continued just like that, Neil went to talk to Hiroshima too about the recent strange changes.
And found that Hiroshima and the others were just as clueless, it was the first time that this place was showing changes.
The coming beast tide was all they could think about, but they had no way to find anything.
Neil even made a few friends in the settlement. He drank with Hiroshima, Joe and a young guy called Henry, who had become a lord this year as well.
This place was almost starting to feel normal, as he could even relax with some friends.
His relationship with Ileana got more intimate, they were certainly past the girlfriend boyfriend stage and were almost like newlyweds.
Ileana, as always, took proper care of him, making his life far easier.
He was already calling her Eli, a lovely pet name, so after Neil told her, Ileana stopped calling him lord and chose a more intimate title.
Neil’s army was growing with each passing day, by the end of the 7th day, all 100 of the troops were ready.
25 giants, 20 cloud vultures and 55 Elven archers, all at mythic rank.
When they stood outside the domain in a formation, the legion exuded a terrifying aura.
It was a well balanced group, though Neil wondered what sort of troops he would get in the future.
Over 10 days had passed, but no beast tide came.
The people around didn’t find any beasts or other creatures either, thankfully they had already gathered enough food.
Neil’s routine was pretty much the same every day.
He would go for training with his teacher early in the morning and spend hours with Cinthia.
The snake queen even started calling him earlier there, at 7, and he usually returned from 9 to 10.
She was quite short tempered and ruthless, but Neil was obviously getting to see a lot more of her other emotions as well.
Of course, the training was getting deadlier and more bloody with each day, she really never held back.
On the eleventh day, when Neil went to train as usual, Cinthia informed him that she had found one diamond class domain core.
She had to use quite some resources and connections to make it possible, but for her favourite and only student, she didn’t mind.
Unfortunately for Neil, he couldn’t take any of the things she wanted to give him, they might just be lost during transaction.
After which, the training began.
It was the twentieth day, as Neil lay sprawled over the ground after a long battle with his kind of tsundere teacher.
He felt quite relaxed around her now, and could chat normally with her.
She never really showed her feelings, but was always more excited than Neil.
"Not bad, you can last almost three hours now." Cinthia gave one of her rare praises, standing beside him.
His stamina and stamina control had all become better. Though there was still a lot she needed to teach him.
Helping him up, the two started to walk towards the small house, with Neil leaning onto her.
Her skin was covered by glistening sweat and her sweet fragrance relaxed his senses.
"Has the situation there changed yet?" she questioned as the two entered the bathroom.
Neil had no strength, so she helped him get into the big bathtub after removing his clothes.
Its water was special, which could help his muscles relax faster.
Then removing her own clothes, she climbed into the bathtub, sitting opposite to him.
