Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 39: Healing Hut
ROAR
The Silver Class Frost Bear roared as it smashed its claws against the head of one of the centipedes, turning it into a mess.
Neil didn’t reveal himself immediately and waited.
He did plan to gain experience, but there was no point in just throwing himself into danger either.
The battle between the two sides continued to rage on, as more and more of them died.
Finally, only one Silver Class Scoria Centipede and two Silver Class and four Bronze Class Frost Bears remained, both sides injured to some degree.
It was evident which side was going to win.
Neil, who was just about to jump into battle, suddenly froze as he noticed the snow beneath him tremble.
In the next moment, he jumped back.
BUZZZ
Suddenly, a centipede shot out of the snow, right under where Neil was standing, biting the air.
’Oh, I wasn’t the only observer it seems.’ Neil thought.
He quickly took his battle stance and watched as more than ten centipedes jumped out of the snow.

The Frost Bears roared upon getting surrounded. They could sense the danger and knew fleeing was their only option.
"Looks like it’s time for me to join the fight." Neil spoke lightly and inhaled a long cold breath, carefully scanning the surroundings.
For a moment everything was silent, and then chaos ensued.
Several of the Scoria Centipedes lunged towards the Frost Bears, while the remaining attacked Neil.
Without panicking, he dodged and swung the two blades. He had received basic training in the academy, so using swords wasn’t hard for him.
SWISH
Taking a side step, Neil’s right hand slashed upwards as the blade cut through the head of one while he stabbed down into the brain of another.
[You have killed a 1st Origin Bronze Class Scoria Centipede.]
[Would you like to collect the loot?]
From his knowledge, Neil knew that even after having their brains destroyed, centipedes don’t die immediately.
Their bodies can still move and even attack.
So even after destroying their brains, he wasn’t careless and moved away.
The thick and long centipedes moved extremely quickly, attacking with strange patterns.
But their strength was too weak, they couldn’t even touch him.
BANG
Neil quickly cut their bodies into several big pieces, careful not to get poisoned.
The remaining Frost Bears were killed by the Scoria Centipedes while Neil struck them from behind.
Killing them without giving them any time.
Huff Huff
Soon, dozens of corpses lay all around Neil, and during the fight he didn’t receive even a scratch.
"That was fun, and a big loot! Collect loot!!" he exclaimed, looking over more than forty corpses.
[Extracting Loot!]
[You have acquired one 1st Origin Bronze Class Gene Point!]
[You have acquired one 1st Origin Silver Class Gene Point!]
...
[You have acquired 30 Shards.]
[You have acquired 100 Shards.]
...
Quickly, dozens of messages popped before him.
"A total of seven Silver Class and twenty six Bronze Class beasts were killed."
Neil calculated and quickly collected the loot.
In the next moment, dozens of glass bottles appeared before him and small glowing spheres.
The gene potion of the Frost Bear was milky white while the Scoria Centipede’s was slightly brownish.
He collected the shards and drank all the potions right there, feeling his strength increasing.
[Shards: 1720]
『
(Bronze): 110/1000
(Silver): 42/500
』
After taking a quick glance at his stats, he hurried back to his domain. Thankfully, no other beast appeared near it.
The door opened for him and closed once he was inside.
Bob and Rob, upon seeing him, instantly came towards him.
"Lord, we have found a temporary solution to the cold." Bob spoke proudly, as always, waiting for his praise.
They pointed to a campfire, whose warmth engulfed a big part of the domain.
It was actually built in such an orderly manner, it was almost like he had built it from the Shop.
Magnar had already returned to its small form, the domain was already too crowded.
Neil stood close to the big campfire, instantly feeling warm. Dark brown coloured wood was burning.
"Did you purchase this wood?" he asked, feeling that these weren’t just ordinary wood.
"Yes lord, this wood is called Green Oak and much better than ordinary wood.
Things made from it are sturdier, though easy to catch fire, and just this much wood can keep burning for half a day so only a few points will be used daily."
Rob was the one to answer, speaking proudly.
"This is good, but can it hold on against lower temperatures? Soon there might be snowfall." Neil asked.
He looked up and saw one of the vultures going ahead to scout.
While the other returned to the barracks to rest. By doing their work in shifts, they could be properly rested and could fight at full power.
"Yes master, even if you throw water, the fire won’t die.
And the barrier will keep the snow out so we should be fine for now." Bob said, patting his chest.
Neil nodded, then looked at the two builders, smiling faintly. "Good job, what about the alarming system?"
Bob instantly felt happy at the praise while Rob just stood there with a proud expression, equally happy.
"We are working on that now, we have an idea. It will be finished soon." They added.
"Alright, you can take a break first." He said, dismissing the two. The two dwarfs went into the kitchen to eat something first.
Around the campfire, several seats made of stone and cushioned properly were set up at a safe distance.
Magnar sat comfortably on one of the seats, already asleep. Neil just shook his head and sat down on another stone.
The battle just now was not exhausting, but it did increase his heartbeat, quickening his breath.
’I only got 1720 shards, which isn’t even enough to buy troops. I need a lot more points.’ he thought and glanced over the shop.
With these points he could still purchase the healing hut and the prison. But there was no need for a prison now.
"Healing hut, that would be useful." Neil decided to buy it, and let Bob and Rob work on it together after they were done with the alarming system.
The healing hut would be built in 6 hours once the two workers worked together.
[You have purchased the Healing Hut!]
[1000 Shards used.]
[Shards: 720]
In such an environment, having a healing hut is very necessary, especially since Neil cannot afford to die for now.
"Alright, let’s continue moving."
Now that the campfire was ready, he didn’t have to worry about the cold for now, so he shifted his domain a bit away from the hot side.
Not wanting to attract beasts from both sides.
He created a distance of a little over 100 metres.
At this distance he would still be able to hear if a battle was going on while remaining hidden because of the fog.
Finally, the domain started to move again.
Neil sat vigilantly, just like the two elven archers and the vulture in the sky.
The guardian stood silently near the entrance.
Fay walked out of the kitchen and stopped beside Neil. After a short pause, she asked: "Lord, should I bring your food here?"
She remembered he hadn’t eaten anything in a while and must be hungry. On the other hand, Neil had forgotten completely about it.
