Chapter 257: Chapter 257: It’s Too Late, Judgment!

Just as Aiden was ready to fight the Demons alongside Raphael, viewers around the world watched the live stream in stunned silence. Their eyes were wide, fixed on Aiden’s screen.

No one had expected Aiden to break free from so many Demons on his own.

When Nellie, Victor, and others begged Aiden to run away, audiences across the globe held their breath without thinking.

Most believed that Aiden’s best choice was to leave his teammates behind and escape alone.

It wasn’t that they doubted Aiden’s strength. After watching the earlier battle between Nellie’s group and the Demon genius players, the audience realized how powerful those genius Demons truly were.

"Run, Aiden! Run for your life! Save yourself, and you’ll have a chance to fight another day!"

"If it were me, I’d have run by now." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"No one would blame Aiden. Everyone knows there’s no other way. Only by running can we survive and lose less."

"Hmm, if there were just one or two Demon geniuses, Aiden could have won."

"Didn’t you see Aiden already raising his staff? He doesn’t want to leave. He’ll fight alongside his teammates until the very end!"

"Is that wise? In the end, even Aiden might die on the front lines!"

"Right! If Aiden can make it out alive, once he grows stronger in the future, he’ll surely become a mighty enemy of the Demons. Revenge will still be possible then!"

It wasn’t just ordinary viewers hoping Aiden would run. Even Xander, the Emperor of the Elephant Empire, turned to his younger brother Caleb.

He let out a deep sigh and said slowly, "I’m starting to regret this."

"I should have convinced these talented players to give up the match long ago."

"The Demon genius players are far beyond our own talents. This fight was never meant to end in victory."

Caleb clenched his fists, his face twisted with disbelief.

He stared fixedly at Aiden on the live stream, took a deep breath, and said, "Brother, I believe in Aiden. Even though we’ve only met a few times, I don’t think he’d do something without a plan. The fact that he chose not to abandon his team means he can beat those damn Demon geniuses!"

Hearing Caleb, Emperor Xander of the Elephant Empire smiled bitterly and shook his head.

Those were four Mythic Rank Demon geniuses!

Once the fight started, Aiden would face immense pressure.

This wasn’t a one-on-one duel; in a chaotic brawl, anyone could die at any moment.

The battlefield is the cruelest place.

Even the brightest genius, if they let their guard down for a second, can be killed by an ordinary soldier.

"I wonder if the Emperor of the Great Shaw Empire agrees with Aiden’s choice right now," Xander thought silently.

Thousands of miles away in the Great Shaw Empire, the happiness slowly faded from Empress Eira’s face. She frowned, her eyes never leaving the live screen.

"Look! Brother Aiden is really awake! It’s not over yet; there’s still hope!" Kelsey said excitedly to everyone around her.

But when she saw the worry on her mother’s face and the serious look in James’s eyes, a bad feeling suddenly struck her.

Kelsey hurriedly asked, "Mother, Uncle James, why are you both so upset? Aiden is about to fight. He can win!"

James sighed silently, unsure of what to say.

If it were him, in Aiden’s current state and facing four Mythic Rank Demon geniuses, his chances of survival would be very slim.

For the Great Shaw Empire right now, keeping Aiden alive is the most important thing.

After thinking for a few, James gathered his words and said slowly, "Your Highness, this isn’t as simple as you think. Aiden is still in huge danger. If he makes a mistake, he could die right here on the spot."

"What? How is that possible?" Kelsey’s face turned pale at James’s words.

She stared nervously at the live screen, clutching her skirt tightly. Her innocent face was filled with fear.

Seeing this, Felix smiled faintly.

Even though he was shocked that Aiden had broken free from the control, he believed the outcome wouldn’t change no matter what happened.

"The hero of the Great Shaw Empire will be brutally killed on the front lines due to the gap in absolute power. This is fate," flashed through Felix’s mind.

Aiden managing to kill two Mythic Rank Demon geniuses should have already been his limit.

To not run and instead stay to fight was, in Felix’s eyes, incredibly foolish!

"Die, hurry and die, Aiden! If you live, I’ll only get more scared," a flicker of fear flashed in Felix’s eyes.

He feared Aiden’s talent and potential, and he also feared the thought of Aiden growing into a true power.

Felix kept telling himself in his heart: "Someone like Aiden will only lead the Great Shaw Empire to destruction. Only by maintaining peace and avoiding war can the Empire’s future be bright."

"I’m right. Everything I do is for the Great Shaw Empire and its people!"

Just as Felix thought this, he saw Aiden on the live stream suddenly take out two pieces of equipment.

Instantly, the other ministers began whispering.

"Does changing equipment matter at this point?"

"No, it’s useless. Unless it’s Legendary Rank or Mythic Rank gear, there’s no way it can boost his strength much."

"Aiden could never just easily get Legendary or Mythic Rank equipment. If he had any, he would have used them by now."

"That makes sense. I think Aiden is scared now. He must be regretting playing the hero and choosing to stay."

Just then, an angry Kelsey marched over to the murmuring ministers.

"Don’t you dare speak about Aiden like that! He’s fighting humanity’s enemies right now, and you’re here tearing him down? That’s too much!" Kelsey’s chest heaved rapidly as she fumed.

The Lords instantly shut their mouths, their faces twisting into awkward smiles.

Felix chuckled softly. "Your Highness, everyone in the Great Shaw Empire has the right to free speech. Besides, their comments have some merit."

Kelsey opened her mouth to argue, but she suddenly stopped. Aiden, seen by the entire world, tilted his neck lightly, turned around, and walked toward Jade.

Felix saw this move too and smiled even wider.

"Now you’re regretting it and want to run? It’s already too late."

Right now, Raphael and the others were already ready for combat. They scattered at top speed, forming a tight encirclement around Aiden.

And right in the center of that deadly ring? Aiden.

Yet, Aiden’s face showed no fear or anxiety at all. Instead, he calmly said to Jade, "Lend me your sword."

Jade looked confused but nodded anyway. Her arm trembled slightly as she handed over the longsword.

Aiden took the blade and inspected it. The tier wasn’t high—it was just an Epic Rank sword—but it looked extremely sharp and would do the job.

"Captain, what are you planning?" Jade asked, unable to hold back.

Aiden smiled, turned around, and spoke slowly to Gaunt Demon Raphael:

"You love torturing humans. You slit them open, rip out their fresh hearts, and eat them."

Raphael grinned fiercely. "Haha, what? Are you scared now?"

"Don’t worry, I won’t kill you. I’ll just give you pain worse than death."

"If you surrender right now, I might consider making your coming suffering just a little less."

Gnome Demon Beliar narrowed his eyes, staring hard at Aiden, and said:

"I’m curious. How did you actually escape the Mindspace?"

"It doesn’t matter if you don’t answer. I can just keep you alive while I run a few more experiments on your body to figure it out," Beliar continued, his voice dripping with cold curiosity.

Hearing the Demon geniuses talk like that, Aiden exhaled softly. Holding Jade’s sword, he suddenly smiled.

Raphael’s eyebrows knitted together instantly. Right then, he felt a cold and dangerous aura radiating from Aiden.

It felt exactly like a top predator waking up from hibernation, ready to hunt.

"He’s just a lowly, worthless human. Why do I feel this way?" Raphael thought to himself.

He shook his head hard, trying to shake off such an impossible feeling.

"My Despair Zone will last for a while longer, Aiden. You can’t leave here. Accept your fate and stop struggling!" Raphael said.

"Fate?" Aiden’s smile grew even wider.

Bathed in sunlight, he seemed to glow.

"I’ve never believed in fate. Right now, I only want to... judge you!"

Whoosh!

The sharp sword cut through the air. The temperature around them dropped instantly, and a deadly killing intent surged rapidly from Aiden’s body.

He held the sword in his right hand, level and aimed straight at Raphael.

In the next moment, Aiden’s eyes turned ice-cold. His smile vanished in an instant.

"I will use this sword to rip open your chest, tear out your heart, and taste it slowly."

"What you did to humans, I will do to you."

"Defy Fate Sacrifice!" Aiden whispered the words.

Right then, an ancient black altar instantly appeared behind him!
