Eternal Thief-Chapter 1577: Hunter’s Hunt! (1)

Ace looked at the crimson ring in his hand with scrutiny, as that voice had already made it clear that this ring was going to be essential to the Evernight Trial, and he must protect it, not to mention that all the trial information would be channeled through this ring.

Now that this ring has suddenly activated, Ace can’t ignore it and decides to put it on before he tries to mark it with his disguised spiritual mark.

The moment his ’Abyssal Qi’ touched the ring, it instantly recognized him as his owner, and that light started to dissipate before the eye within the crimson, the hallmark of the Evernight Council, flickered in dark light.

Suddenly, from the dark eye, a translucent crimson projection screen materialized in front of Ace, startling him, for the projection interface before him was written in Abyssal Language and even arranged into sections and details.

If he didn’t know any better, he would’ve thought it was the system interface.

But it wasn’t because the aesthetic difference was simply that between earth and sky; not to mention, the system has a unique, indescribable charm in its interfaces.

Nonetheless, Ace still has to give the council credit for trying and even considering such an idea, because it wasn’t every day he saw imitations of the system’s interface, albeit crude.

"Welcome to the Evernight Trial: Hunter’s Hunt!

"Congratulations, you have been granted a Special Evernight Invitation; thus, the Ring of Lone Hunter is given to you, making you the ’Lone Hunter’ in the Hunter’s Hunt!

"If you lose the Ring of Lone Hunter or fail to complete the conditions of Hunter’s Hunt in due time, you will be eliminated.

"Elimination means Certain Death!"

At this point, Ace’s eyes narrowed when he saw certain death in case of failure, and he confirmed the Council’s intention of killing every single participant in case of failure, even if they had an Evernight Invitation!

With that in mind, he continued to read the rules and regulations mentioned below for this Hunter’s Hunt.

"Hunter’s Hunt details and rules: 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"1. Every participant has been divided into two categories, either the Hunter or the Hunt!

"2. The Hunters have been issued the Ring of Hunter, while the Hunts have been given the Ring of Hunt!

"3. The Rings of Hunter and Rings of Hunt need to be worn all the time, and in case of stowing them in a spatial treasure, or removing them from your person, within 10 seconds, the Rings will become invalid, and such participant will be considered eliminated after the duration of the trial!

"4. The Hunter’s Hunt will last for a fortnight after the timer in your respective Ring of Hunter or Hunt starts.

"5. To pass the Hunter’s Hunt Trial, every Hunter must hunt and collect 20 Rings of Hunt (Invalid Rings included) using any method necessary!

Realization dawned on Ace at this moment as he finally got all the details of the Hunter’s Trial.

Although the trial conditions were relatively simple, they were vicious and cruel, especially for those who had been given the Ring of Hunts.

Furthermore, Ace couldn’t help but think about the more in-depth meaning behind dividing the Evernight Invitation holders, the Evernight Council members, and the outsiders.

’Since they have made two categories, I’m sure the Evernight Council has divided their members into either Hunters or Hunts, most likely the former. While those outsiders are probably the ’Hunts’ for those Council Members.

’This way, they can justifiably eliminate not only the geniuses of the other powers but also get rid of scourges or useless wastes of space within their own ranks. Moreover, they haven’t revealed the requirements for the ’hunts’ to pass this trial to those with the title of ’hunters,’ like me. And there are still more details...’

Ace couldn’t help but focus on the next section, and the projection instantly changed, revealing new information, but when he saw it, his expression turned stern.

"1. Lone Hunter didn’t need to gather or hunt for any Rings!
