Eternal Emperor's Path to Ascension-Chapter 221: Yin-Yang Duality True Physique, The Bizarre Creature
Meanwhile, Eastern Continent, Jingchen Region.
East Coast.
*Boom!*
With a loud boom, the body of a huge Demon of the Void Refinement Realm nearly a thousand feet tall crashed onto mountains as he was blown away in a straight line, piercing holes into those mountains along the way.
"The Demons here in the Mortal World are somewhat weak compared to those of the Immortal World in the same realm. I guess this is the difference between the environment where they were nurtured and the absence of Immortal Qi alongside many other numerous resources in the Upper Realm, many of which are scarce in the Lower Realm."
Zhu Dong murmured as he flipped the staff in his hand, floating in the air as he looked down at the Demon at death’s door.
He, as a part of the genius convention and being connected to the Dragon King Temple, had also come to the East Coast to participate in the Righteous-Demonic War.
"What are you doing here, slacking off like this? This is a war, we’re not here to laze around or admire the scenery. Oh well, there’s nothing to admire here except for these blood colored clouds and dark sky."
At this moment, a voice came from behind him, laced with slight mockery and annoyance.
"Well, what do we have here? You’re still stalking me after all that talk just last month?"
Zhu Dong said as he turned around, a smug expression on his face.
What entered his vision upon turning around was that of a beautiful woman, seeming to be in her early twenties, with long, wavy blong hair and a graceful figure.
It was the same woman whom he had met quite a long time ago and spent a night with because she had been drugged by an aphrodisiac.
She possessed a special Constitution suitable for Dual Cultivation which initially caught Zhu Dong’s attention, which was why he didn’t forget about her.
As a former Immortal Sovereign, Zhu Dong, the Myriad Paths Divine King, had witnessed countless special Constitutions and Bloodlines, and they were not so rare at all in the Upper Realm.
However, the Constitution the blonde woman before him possessed was very special, and even he had also only heard ancient records about it.
The Yin-Yang Duality True Physique!
A Constitution which guaranteed one the cultivation level of at least an Immortal Sovereign, with its upper limits not known even to the Myriad Paths Divine King!
This was the reason why he thought that if he could become Dao Companions with the blonde woman, he would be guaranteed to cross the limits of his past life and step into an unfathomable realm!
Thought after separating their ways, they almost never met again, which was until very recently in the Prodigy Convention at Jiangnan Region.
As it turns out, the blonde woman was actually the youngest young lady of the Hidden Tang Immortal Family, one of the three Hidden Immortal Families and a major faction, Tang Ruhua.
When they first met, she was at the Golden Core Realm, and now, she was already at the Void Refinement Realm. Though her cultivation still fell a bit short of Zhu Dong’s, who was in turn at the peak of Void Refinement Realm.
They initially ignored each other when they met again at the Prodigy Convention, but still had to fight together multiple times during the past few years of war.
It was only when Tang Ruhua was discreetly following Zhu Dong around last month did the latter confront her and they had an argument, after which they almost never saw eachother till now.
She felt that Zhu Dong was suspicious, as he didn’t possess any great background when they first met back then. But now, he was the sworn brother of the Sovereign of Storms and a guest of the Dragon King Temple. There was definitely something fishy about him when she looked into it this way.
"I’m not stalking you. I was just passing by here and saw you talking to yourself. Remember, this is a battlefield where you can lose your life at any moment. Be more cautious in the future, or no one would even bother picking up your corpse if you die!"
Tang Ruhua said in a irritated tone of voice before her gaze fell to the huge Demon sprawling on the ground atop some small hills, already at the end of its life.
She was slightly stunned to find out just how much more powerful the Demon was when it was almost dead compared to her, not to mention how powerful it would be when it was alive.
She casted a silent glance at Zhu Dong, seemingly impressed in her heart but still scoffing at him before turning around and transforming into a streak of light as she disappeared into the horizon.
"This woman is interesting."
Zhu Dong let out a soft mumble as he laughed slightly before turning his attention to the eastern end of the East Coast, where all the supreme geniuses of the righteous path’s current generation were engaged in a tough battle against a surreal, gigantic figure swaying thousands of feet in the clouds.
Zhu Dong’s expression changed slightly as he took in the gigantic figure.
That creature...wasn’t it already defeated more than twice in the past couple of years?
There’s a high chance that it, or they, aren’t living beings but instead puppets being manipulated by someone. It’s too obvious at this point. I wonder if those supreme geniuses have noticed this?
As he thought this through, a demonic cultivator suddenly appeared behind him and slashed down with an axe Dharma Artifact containing terrifying Demonic Energy, cleaving through the air towards him as the surrounding land shuddered due to its overwhelming might.
Zhu Dong, on the other hand, turned his head around and slapped out with a palm strike which miraculously blocked the axe, and not just that, went on to hit the demonic cultivator, squashing him into a puddle of blood.
"These fellows are so annoying, tch."
Saying this, he turned around to look at the gigantic creature at the eastern end for one last time before turning into a streak of light and speeding off towards the other battlefields.

He didn’t have any malice towards the demonic path nor the Demon Race, as the situation in the Upper Realm was way different than that of the Lower Realm, but he had decided to join the war so that he could find treasures and resources to quickly recover his cultivation.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t even bother coming to the Eastern Continent.
...
Meanwhile, at the East Coast near the Pristine Waters.
*Boom!*
*Buzz!*
*Whoosh!*
Countless spells and techniques were used consistently as many figures floated in the air, attacking the gigantic creature who looked almost the same as the one previously.
There was no lack of Divine Powers being used in the grand battle!
All of the participants were, after all, the great geniuses and heirs of the strongest powers in the Second Great Mortal World!
"This is already the third one who looks exactly the same as the one before and the first one, damn it, just how many of these creatures is the demonic path and the Demon Race hiding!?"
At this point, a frustrated and domineering voice echoed throughout the battlefield, entering the ears of everyone present.
The one who spoke was none other than the Unrivaled Fist God, who was constantly punching out with his avatar towards the strange creature, but it was perceptible that his attacks had grown slightly weaker compared to before due to a constant drainage of Spiritual Energy.
"Amitabha, we’ve already defeated two of these fellows, yet there is no sign to them stopping. This one is also stronger than the last two. I have a bad intuition about this, benefactors."
Monk Yellow Robed chimed in, sweat forming on his forehead as he continously chanted buddhist spells and even a few Divine Powers he knew, albeit they were only slightly stronger than normal techniques or spells since he had not mastered them.
"Have you all fellow daoists noticed how this thing doesn’t say anything and just keeps on attacking? There’s a high chance it’s a mere puppet with someone else as the mastermind behind the scenes. What do you think, Divinity Transcendence Venerable?"
Path Seeker Daoist spoke as he also used his avatar and held a double edged sword in his hand, locking onto the creature before attacking it with his full might, not wanting to give it a chance to focus on the others despite failing to do so every time.
On the other hand, Wang Daoyun stayed silent throughout this whole conversation, remaining focused on slashing continous streams of Sword Qi towards the creature, which were obviously deflected by the latter.
It’s...extremely strange.
Something is wrong.
As he was thinking of this, his Divine Sense suddenly caught the creature’s glowing red eyes lock onto him before a beam of Demonic Energy shot towards him from them, unstoppable by any kind of barrier or Dharma Artifact as it arrived before his eyes in a mere moment!
