Entangled in the Night: Unable to Escape Him-Chapter 48: Sienna Is So Naughty
Seeing her such a big reaction, Silas Prescott suddenly leaned down.
He looked at her sincerely: "Dr. Nash, by staying in my apartment, what are you afraid of?"
Silas’s gaze was gentle, lacking any aggression.
Even Chloe could not discern the emotions in his eyes.
But was he really not intentionally making her stay there?
Why did she always feel like there was a secret she didn’t know about in all this?
But now, Chloe had no choice.
If she didn’t accept Silas’s arrangement, it would only make him more suspicious.
Besides, up to now, Silas hadn’t found any substantial evidence proving she was Sienna Paxton.
He just felt they looked very similar.
With this suspicion, Chloe forced a smile: "No, it just feels not so appropriate, my place isn’t far from here."
Silas chuckled: "From your place to here, even without traffic, it takes half an hour. If it’s rush hour, an hour would be uncertain. Dr. Nash, do you think if your mother has an emergency, you could really make it here in time?"
With this, Chloe dared not argue further.
Silas seemed to be considering her well-being in his words, she couldn’t act ungrateful.
She nodded slightly: "Then I’ll follow your arrangement, let’s go."
Seeing his mother finally agreeing to be with him, Julian Prescott was excitedly grinning.
He held Chloe’s hand with one hand, and Silas’s with the other.
His bright eyes looked at Chloe: "Mom."
Chloe smiled and nodded: "Yes, let’s go home, dear."
Julian then turned to look at Silas: "Dad."
Silas smiled and ruffled his hair: "Listen to Dr. Nash, okay?"
Julian nodded contentedly.
All three had high charisma, the man was refined and dignified, the woman gentle and intelligent, and the child cute and handsome.
They were simply the perfect family trio.
The nurse on duty couldn’t help but whisper: "This family’s looks are top-notch, any one of them could hold their ground in the entertainment industry."
"Exactly, especially the man, he looks so familiar, like I’ve seen him somewhere before."
"Oh right, he seems to be a tech mogul, the head of the Prescott Family, I’ve seen him in magazines."
"Is that his wife and son next to him? How come I’ve never heard he’s married."
"Of course, you see how much the little boy resembles his mom."
Hearing these words, Stella Sterling, who came for a check-up, stomped her foot in anger: "Mom, look at Brother Silas. When I asked him out, he said he was busy. How come he has time now to accompany Chloe to the hospital? Could he really want to be with her?"
Mrs. Sterling sneered: "Don’t worry, I’ve already arranged for someone to pin the blame on that case’s mastermind as Chloe’s dad. Even if Silas Prescott intervenes, it won’t help. Anyone who tries to help them risks offending the higher-ups, and Silas isn’t a fool. How could he possibly offend such big figures for her? You’ll just have to wait and watch her father rot in jail for life." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Silas Prescott brought Chloe Nash and Julian Prescott, opening the door to the apartment.
The cleaning lady who was tidying up quickly approached: "Young master, everything has been cleaned here, all the bedding has been changed, and the things for the young master are placed in the secondary bedroom."
Silas softly replied, "Mmm," "You all can go now, there’s nothing else needed here."
"Yes, young master."
The servants promptly withdrew.
Julian was surprised to see how much the place had changed from before, looking at his dad curiously.
He remembered when he used to come here, it was dirty and dark.
His dad even told him not to touch anything here, so why are he and mom moving in now?
Excited, he ran inside; he adored this place.
Feeling a strange sense of familiarity.
This was going to be his and mom’s home now.
He could stay by mom’s side every moment.
Thinking of this, Julian was so thrilled, he didn’t know what to do.
Flailing around on the bean bag.
Chloe stood at the doorway, hesitant to take a step inside.
Everything here remained unchanged, with the sofa she personally picked out, the curtains she personally bought.
And the little trinkets she ordered online.
Everything was still in its original place.
This place had once been her dream spot, and also the beginning of her nightmare.
Every corner here held memories of her and Silas making love.
Even in front of the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling window, there were traces of their passion.
She could never forget, on Christmas Eve, she lied to Silas, saying her advisor had something urgent, and she’d return home late.
In reality, she was out celebrating Christmas with her classmates.
They braved the snow to go to the church, and even had a snowball fight.
Built a snowman.
That day, Sienna Paxton had a wonderful time, thinking Silas, on a business trip, wouldn’t find out.
However, just as she was having fun with her classmates at school, suddenly someone called her name.
"Sienna."
That voice, like a spell, scared Sienna so much she fell into the snow.
Silas hurried over, holding her in his arms.
Worriedly checking her over: "Sienna, are you hurt anywhere?"
Sienna didn’t know if it was from fright or the cold, her face pale, lips purple.
Stiffly shaking her head, she answered softly: "Brother, why are you back?"
Silas didn’t blame her; instead, with doting affection, he tapped her small nose.
"If I hadn’t come, were you planning to play all night? Forget you just recovered from pneumonia, you can’t catch a cold."
His tenderness and demeanor caused Sienna’s classmates to express envy: "Sienna, your brother spoils you too much."
Sienna didn’t know how to respond, merely smiling bitterly: "I should head back, you guys carry on."
Silas politely nodded at the classmates: "When there’s time, let Sienna bring you over to our home, I’ll grill some barbecue for you."
The classmates were thrilled: "That’s great, long live Sienna’s brother."
Even as Silas and Sienna left, the classmates were still abuzz.
"Why don’t I have such a brother, so gentle, so chivalrous, he’s simply my ideal man."
But this ideal man, upon returning home, suddenly changed that cultured face.
His cold hand gripped Sienna’s chin, eyes filled with a dangerous signal.
"Sienna, why did you lie to me? Why play with others, why smile at them?"
Sienna sensed the imminent danger and quickly pleaded for mercy: "Brother, I was wrong, I’ll never do it again."
Silas’s smile was somewhat sinister: "Is Sienna getting too bold after three days without a beating? I’ll satisfy you right now."
With that, he forcibly tugged off Sienna’s sweater.
