Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 791 - 821: Tonight’s Moon Will Be Very Round
When Mabel Quinn came out of the bathroom, she saw that Kyle Kinston was already dressed, the black suit fitting perfectly on him.
"I’m done with my shower, you can go in and freshen up now. I opened a new toothbrush and towel and put them next to each other." She said, her gaze hardly daring to meet his face, nor did she dare to ask him how much of last night’s memory he still remembered.
"Okay." He responded.
Just as she lowered her head, intending to walk past him, he suddenly reached out, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Why, are you planning on not looking at me at all? Last night, weren’t you quite focused when I was undressing?"
"No way!" She abruptly lifted her head, meeting his eyes directly.
"Weren’t you?" He asked, a smile playing on the corners of his lips.
"..." Her face began to burn again. So he did remember last night! Gosh, yesterday Caleb said he was drunk, but it seemed he wasn’t drunk at all!
"I, I don’t know what you’re talking about," she said evasively. "You go wash up first, I’ll go downstairs to buy some breakfast."
After speaking, she grabbed her wallet and dashed downstairs.
There were breakfast stalls in the apartment complex. Mabel bought some tofu pudding and fried buns and dumplings before heading back upstairs.
Kyle didn’t particularly mind what she bought; whatever she bought, he ate. After the two had finished breakfast, when Mabel and Kyle walked out of the apartment, the neighbor’s aunt happened to be going out as well. She smiled when she saw them, a suggestive look in her eyes.
"Mabel, ah, I told you, young people these days, breaking up and getting back together is normal. Look, you two are back together now." The aunt said.
Mabel stumbled, nearly falling down the stairs. She wasn’t back together with Kyle at all.
As for Kyle, he just gave the aunt a faint smile.
That smile once again amazed the aunt.
"But Mabel, your boyfriend looks a bit familiar. I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before." The aunt said.
"He probably just has a friendly face," Mabel replied, quickly pulling Kyle to leave. At times like this, she couldn’t be bothered to emphasize that Kyle was merely her ex-boyfriend. Emphasizing it would probably be a waste, instead making things more complicated.
All the way downstairs and out of the apartment complex, Mabel was surprised to see Caleb already waiting outside. As soon as Kyle emerged, Caleb hurriedly got out of the car and said, "Elder Kinston."
Kyle nodded slightly, and then looked at Mabel, "Let me take you to work."
"No need," she quickly responded, "It’s more convenient for me to just take the bus to the office." With that, she hurriedly ran off, not giving Kyle a chance to say anything more.
Kyle stood there, staring fixedly at her retreating figure, his gaze gradually deepening.
It wasn’t until Caleb spoke again that he turned and got into the car.
"Caleb..." Kyle suddenly said, "The moon will be quite full tonight, won’t it?"
"Probably, tonight seems to be a Full Moon," Caleb replied after a moment’s thought. "Do you have any plans for tonight, Elder Kinston?"
"Plans?" Kyle lowered his eyes gently, "I’ll still come here."
The pain of the Full Moon can only be suppressed by fate. But his desire to come here tonight was not entirely due to the Blood Curse, more so, he just wanted to see her.
It seemed that the closer it came to the Full Moon, the stronger his longing for her grew...
