"More like what?"
"More like he’s trying to find some memories from you," Daniel said. "But maybe I’m just overthinking it."
Mabel couldn’t help but admire Daniel’s insight, "Maybe you’re not overthinking it. I do resemble an old acquaintance of my uncle’s."
Daniel said, "That makes sense."
When the car stopped at the gate of the village in the city, Daniel turned to Mabel and said, "Actually, as long as you say one sentence, those groundless news reports could easily be disproven, and no one in the Quinn Family would harm you anymore."
"What sentence?" she asked, puzzled.

Mabel walked to her rental apartment door, and as she used the key to open it, she sensed something was off. She had locked the door before leaving, which required the key to turn twice to unlock it. However, as she inserted the key, there was no clicking sound that usually came with the turns, and the door was already in an openable state.
