Yan Lihua looked at him with a gaze filled with hatred while Mo Chen was standing with a stunned expression.

Mo Chen was quite sure that Lin Hao wasn’t anywhere near this city. They had tried to find him but there was no information about him.

Yan Lihua didn’t respond. She was thinking about the mistake she had made.To her, Yin Yang Harmony Sect was everything. She always tried everything for the betterment of the sect. She was very happy when they found Xie Ruyue but in the end Xie Ruyue wasn’t interested in dual cultivation.

It was a disappointment but she still hoped that Xie Ruyue would accept dual cultivation in the future and that’s what happened when she found Lin Hao.

She was the one who brought him to the sect, an unseen genius whose value was unimaginable. The happiness she felt when both Lin Hao and Xie Ruyue became partners was unexplainable but everything crumbled because Lin Hao never belonged to them...

"What is happening elder Yan? Why are you so quiet?" Mo Chen could see that something was not right here.

He could sense the invisible pressure from Yan Lihua and hatred was evident from her expression.

Yan Lihua took control of her emotions and looked toward the ongoing fight.

Mo Chen frowned at being ignored but if his assumption was right then it seemed Yan Lihua wasn’t pleased seeing Lin Hao and the fact that she didn’t even ask him to enter the city meant she didn’t care for his well-being.

Was this some hidden conflict which wasn’t known? Did this mean that there was a chance for Crimson Flame Palace to make Lin Hao tilt toward them?

"Lin Hao, come inside. It’s not safe to stay outside the city," Mo Chen said calmly.

Lin Feng who had also put his attention on the ongoing battle of Heaven Ascension realm cultivators heard Mo Chen and got amused at his caring words.

Lin Feng didn’t want to waste his words on someone like Mo Chen so he didn’t avert his attention from the battles happening in the sky.

Most of the cultivators in the city only heard rumbling sounds since they couldn’t see that high but right now Frozen Heart Sect was on the backfoot.
