Due to the sudden shock, they didn’t check Lin Feng’s cultivation realm. Their priority was to protect him from any fatal attack.
Lin Feng shook his head while looking at their concerned yet focused expressions. One of them was in the mid-stage of Spirit Origin, while the other one was in the late stage.
"Senior sisters, can you tell me what you guys know so far?" Lin Feng looked towards the valley.
"Chief disciple, first come down." One of them immediately put her hand on Lin Feng’s shoulder and tried to bring him down into hiding.
Lin Feng decided to let her drag him. Once they landed behind a tree, both disciples seemed a little calmer than before.
They turned towards him with inquisitive gazes, and one of them spoke chidingly, "Chief disciple, it’s dangerous here. There are five devil cultivators inside that valley as per the information we gained. The strongest among them is peak stage of Spirit Origin Realm. That’s why we haven’t made an attempt to engage them in battle or search them using spiritual sen—"
Suddenly, her eyes widened as she sensed the cultivation realm of Lin Feng, "How is it possible?"
"What happened?" The other disciple asked when she heard that, but just as she said that, they felt a spiritual sense.
The two disciples immediately got attentive and took out escape talismans.
Lin Feng looked towards one direction, and three cultivators draped in black robes and masks were coming towards them.
"Let’s leave." The disciple who had seen Lin Feng’s cultivation realm caught his hand and was about to use the escape talisman as she thought that even with his realm they couldn’t face a peak-stage Spirit Origin cultivator when suddenly Lin Feng caught her and stopped her.
"Wait senior sister." Lin Feng didn’t come here just to escape.
The two disciples got stunned. The one who had activated her escape talisman stopped too. The speed of Spirit Origin was too fast. When Lin Feng finished saying the word "wait," the devil cultivators were already above them.
Both disciples gritted their teeth and took out protective talismans. They didn’t understand why Lin Feng had stopped them.
"Ohh... look who is here." One of the masked cultivators spoke, "To think beauties of Frozen Heart Sect would come to our doorstep to deliver themselves. How fortunate of us." This was the cultivator who was in the peak stage of Spirit Origin Realm.
The two disciples didn’t say anything. One of them immediately activated a peak grade 6 protective talisman which covered all three of them. Everyone was told to bring a few protective talismans higher than their realms as that’s when they were usually needed.
Everything happened in the blink of an eye from Lin Feng stopping them from escaping and them using the protective talisman as the peak-stage devil was speaking.
The other two devil cultivators arrived too. Now all five of them basically surrounded Lin Feng and the others. One was in peak stage, one was in late stage, two were in mid-stage, and the last one was in early stage of Spirit Origin Realm.
They definitely weren’t from any small devil faction. It must be some big sect, and there were only a few devil sects available in the whole world.
One of the disciples near Lin Feng took out another talisman and activated it, and when it moved, it disappeared in the void.
"I have asked for immediate help from the sect..." The disciple said and looked at Lin Feng, "Chief disciple, why?"
Finally, they felt a little safe inside the protective barrier, so they asked the question which was bugging them.
When Lin Feng heard that they had used a talisman to ask help from the sect, he sighed while shaking his head, "Wait here. Don’t come out..." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Just as he finished speaking, he moved immediately. The disciple who was mid-stage just saw a blur, while the disciple who was in late stage discerned his movement, but even she wasn’t able to react before Lin Feng came out of the protective barrier.
Those who were inside the barrier could leave it without any obstruction.
Both of the disciple’s got stunned and the other disciple finally saw Lin Feng’s realm too, "How?"
"That’s not the point, he is outside and now he can’t enter inside before the talisman’s effect wears off. We can’t let anything happen to him... seriously, what’s wrong with him—" She was speaking when she saw the peak-stage devil cultivator move.
How could he leave the chance to capture someone who seemed so important for the Frozen Heart Sect disciples from everything he observed? He didn’t know why they were calling this man chief disciple, but he would find out soon.
"Hahahaha... Today really is a lucky day. When I thought that we might have to go back empty-handed seeing that protective talisman, not to mention our perfect location being exposed, you came out on your own accord."
The devil cultivator arrived near Lin Feng. The devil cultivator had seen Lin Feng’s movement which was similar to late stage of Spirit Origin Realm. He was surprised since he could sense Lin Feng’s realm to be in early stage, but nonetheless, he could handle him, "Don’t disappoint me. I hope you are valuable enough for them to come out on their own accord to..." He spoke while grabbing towards the head of Lin Feng.

"Eh?" The devil cultivator stopped in mid-air as his hand was caught by another hand.
"I hope you didn’t disappoint me either..." Lin Feng was hoping for a good fight. That’s why he had chosen this mission in the first place, "I hope you are strong enough to stay alive for five minutes..."
The devil cultivator’s eyes widened as he felt the immense grip on his hand. He understood that his own physical strength was nowhere near this cultivator. He immediately imbued his hand with a torrent of spirit qi and blood qi while twisting it.
It worked, and he got freed from Lin Feng and moved away immediately.
