Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era-Chapter 18: Lin Feng! Do you dare to kidnap my Ling’er!?
Ling’er shook her head. "You do not understand, Lin Feng... BaiShe is not who you think he is. If you stay alone, he will not leave you any chance."
"I know he is powerful, but I must clear my honor," replied Lin Feng while clenching his fists. "Go away, quickly !"
Nevertheless, before Ling’er could answer, a sharp whistle tore through the air.
The sky above seemed to fragment into a thousand shards of silvery light. In a fraction of a second, a multitude of translucent swords, formed of pure Qi and sharp as razors, swooped down on Lin Feng with the precision of a flight of raptors.
Lin Feng reacted by pure instinct. He threw his body backward, executing a series of athletic somersaults as the blades planted themselves in the rocky ground where he had stood a moment earlier.
The impacts created craters of dust and debris, each sword vibrating with murderous energy.
"It is already too late for goodbyes," resonated a calm and composed voice.
Xuan BaiShe descended from the top of the cliff, his clothes floating gracefully around him. He was not using any physical sword ; his hands were joined behind his back.
Around him, hundreds of other illusory blades began to materialize.
"BaiShe ! Stop this right now !" shouted Ling’er while positioning herself between the two men. "Lin Feng is innocent and you know it !"
BaiShe tilted his head slightly, observing his sister with feigned sadness.
"Ling’er, your naivety saddens me. This criminal manipulated you to ensure his escape. Step back, I would not want one of my blades to scratch you by mistake while I deliver justice for Brother MingBai."
"You are lying !" she retorted, using her own Qi.
However, BaiShe did not give her time to intervene further. With a simple wave of his hand, he sent a shock wave of Qi that gently but firmly pushed Ling’er toward the edge of the ravine, isolating her from the immediate battlefield with a translucent barrier.
" Stay out of this reckless little girl."
"Now, Lin Feng," said BaiShe while turning his gaze toward the blond disciple.
"Show me if your dragon blood is as resistant as they claim."
Lin Feng understood that there was no longer room for discussion. He released all his power, his body enveloping itself in a golden and burning aura.
His muscles swelled and his red eyes shone with wild determination. He adopted a low stance, his feet anchored in the ground.

He lunged forward, the ground exploding under his thrust. In the blink of an eye, he was on BaiShe, delivering a devastating punch aimed at the young master’s plexus.
But BaiShe did not move an inch. With a simple thought, he summoned a dozen swords that joined together to form a rotating shield in front of him.
Lin Feng’s fist collided with the Qi blades in a deafening metallic crash. Sparks of spiritual light burst from the impact, and a shock wave swept the surrounding debris.
Despite Lin Feng’s brute force, the illusory swords did not break ; they deflected the power of the blow, forcing Lin Feng to slide to the side.
"Your style is as primitive as your origins, I am so disappointed in you brother Lin Feng." commented BaiShe with disdain.

With a fluid gesture, BaiShe commanded the floating swords to launch themselves. They did not strike in a linear manner, but described curved and unpredictable trajectories, harassing Lin Feng from all sides.
Lin Feng had to use all his mastery of hand-to-hand combat to parry the blades with his forearms reinforced by golden Qi. Each contact left a superficial cut on his skin, blood beading and evaporating instantly under the heat of his aura.
’He is too fast... and these swords are real despite their appearance that can make them invisible at any moment,’ thought Lin Feng while dodging a blade that grazed his temple.
’ I must close the distance, his long-range sword art is too oppressive.’
Lin Feng roared and used a feint, diving to the ground to avoid a salvo before leaping upward. He concentrated his Qi in his two fists, creating two miniature golden dragon heads that roared silently.
"Take this, BaiShe !" he shouted while falling back down on BaiShe.
<Way of the fist: double crushing the sky>
The attack struck with the force of a meteor. BaiShe, this time, had to use his hands.
" Using such a domineering name for such a shitty technique ? "
He crossed his arms in front of him, summoning a massive and radiant sword to intercept Lin Feng’s fists. The explosion that followed pulverized the stone pillars within fifty meters around. A cloud of dust and debris rose, temporarily masking the combatants.
Inside the cloud, the hand-to-hand combat became visceral.
Lin Feng chained blows with ferocious speed, his fists striking BaiShe’s vital points.
However, BaiShe moved with supernatural fluidity, each of Lin Feng’s movements seeming to have been predicted by his analytical gaze. BaiShe used his illusory swords not only to attack, but also to parry and counterattack in Lin Feng’s blind spots.
A Qi blade pierced Lin Feng’s shoulder, coming out the other side in a spray of scarlet blood. Lin Feng groaned in pain, but instead of retreating, he seized BaiShe’s arm, ignoring the wound.
"I got you !" cried Lin Feng, preparing a Qi-charged headbutt.
BaiShe smiled coldly, his monocle remaining impeccably in place. "You are desperate, Lin Feng. It is pathetic."

Suddenly, BaiShe’s shadow on the ground came to life. Several black blades burst from the ground, piercing Lin Feng’s legs.
The blond disciple screamed as his limbs were nailed to the ground by the Qi swords. Blood flowed abundantly, staining the ground with dark red. The pain was atrocious, but what terrified Lin Feng the most was the absolute coldness in BaiShe’s eyes.
" Brother BaiShe.. I swear to you that all this is a misunderstanding !"
BaiShe freed himself from Lin Feng’s grip with insulting ease. He levitated a few centimeters above the ground, dominating the son of luck who struggled to free himself from the shadow blades.
"You see, Lin Feng," murmured BaiShe, " I would have believed you before, but kidnapping my Ling’er ? Even if you were not the author of this crime, I would still kill you."
