DRAGONBORN SORCERER-Chapter 24: Commencement Of Chaos ptー2
Skyler put on his mask, standing next the clan leader as he stared at the coming chaos. Unlike others, he appeared utterly composed. The panic in the air seemed to wash over him without leaving a trace. He casually stood among the adventurers. His is golden eyes glinted under the faint sunlight as his gaze shifted to the sky, now swarming with the ominous figures of scorching wyverns.
’It’s getting worse.’ He thought, focusing briefly at the system interface before him, ’I don’t think I can take them down on my current condition. And besides, I’m not obliged to lend them a hand anyway. If worse come to worse, I won’t hesitate to leave them behind. For now, I’ll stay and see how this plays out.’
The temperature was rising with each passing moment, and it became stiflingly hot shortly after. Adventurers started sweating in the effect of the oppressive heat, even Leonardo tightened around the hilt of his sword, Stella, sweating yet kept his calm demeanour to show sigh of strains.
The lava golems stopped their marching nearly half a mile away, waiting for their next command— followed by the horde of wyverns just above them, hovering menacingly in the sky.
"Greetings citizens of Rosevill !" A blue Scorching wyvern halted in mid air as the man known as Xions spoke first, "I am Sato, the flame sorcerers of the Xions."
"And I am Rumi." The female one said, standing on the back of the wyvern, flying next to Sato, "You should feel honoured to stand in our presence."
"I don’t think so." Leonardo replied as he drew his sword— Stella, from its sheath, gleaming with holy aura, "If you value your lives, withdraw your forces and surrender now."
"What’s that?" Rumi let out a shrill laugh "Haa-haa-HAAA. Surrender you say.... That’s absurd. Why in the world we’ll do something crazy like that. Huh?" her grin twisted into a sinister smile, "You’re standing here alive because we’re showing mercy. Otherwise, it’d have been already a land of corpses."
"Just as she said." Sato replied letting his laughter out, "Corpses are no fun to chat with. Thus we came here to give you options— either submit and receive a painless death or fight back to get a painful one, the choice is yours to make."
Leonardo remained silent. However, Stella shined brighter responding to Leonardo’s mana. The adventurers behind him felt a renewed sense of determination, yet the tension was palpable. Sato and Rumi, however, were unfazed as they already anticipated an inevitable fight.
"Blame your fate as it made you stand against one of the strongest sorcerer in history." They replied in unison as they both raised their hands, "Come forth. Inferno Blaze Disaster!"
Their mana output was immense as they combined their strength to give the attack an indestructible form, allowing them to materialize a massive fire sphere. The intensity was unimaginable as though the sun itself had appeared just above them, and it wasn’t only a threat— rather a signal to command the golems for commencing their marching.
"Hurry, Rose." McVill shouted, tightening the grip of his sword, "Unleash your divine shield—"
"Flash Canon!" Skyler’s voice cut through the chaos like a blade. A massive beam of concentrated light erupted from a magic circle rotating just before him. The overwhelming light engulfed the fiery sphere in an instant. It surged forward and pierced through the sky while obliterating a quarter of the wyvern horde in its way.
Skyler stood passionately, calm and collective.

"That drained more mana than I anticipated." He murmured, glancing at the system interface, "Well, whatever." He stomped his foot on the ground, and activated another magic circle beneath him, "Earthquake!"
The ground beneath the advancing lava golems started shaking violently. The adventurers struggled to maintain their footing as massive fissures opened, and swallowed the towering golems into a giant pit. The molten creatures tumbled helplessly into the chasm. Their heat dissipated into the earth.
However Skyler wasn’t finished. He summoned several bluish magic circles and cast the spell in a cold and heavy tone.
"Arise, Dead-Lock Water Waves!".
From the magic circle massive waves of water came out, forming a huge tsunami that nearly reach the height of sky. It rushed towards the giant pit where the golems fell earlier.
The colossal cascades rushed for the pit and filled it with water, extinguishing the golems trapped in it. Steam rose from there. Cracks appeared on their body as their temperatures dropped drastically.

The adventurers were left speechless. Their awe-stricken faces reflected the devastation Skyler had unleashed. Even the wyverns circling above hesitated as their sharp instincts sensed a shift in power.
"Let’s end this." Skyler muttered, activating two magic circles one his both hand simultaneously, "Element Fusion: Annihilation Thunderstorm!"
He wielded the thunder magic circle on his right hand, and wind magic circle on left. Slamming his both fists together, he unleashed the powers at once. The two elemental circles merged with each other, and created the massive Thunderstorm above his head. As he launched the attack, it hit the golems straight forward. Turning them into pile of dusts, it decimated the entire army of the Lava Golems.

The system interface kept showing multiple screens one after another. Skyler exhaled as he lowered his eyes on the system interface to see his efforts.
The Xions, who exuded confidence, now stood frozen. Their expressions twisted in disbelief. Almost their entire army had been annihilated by a single individual within a mere moments.
The reactions of the adventurers were the same— completely speechless. Only Leonardo, Rose and the others who witnessed his true strength, chuckled confidently.
"Man! That was more exhausting than I thought." Skyler exclaimed, stretching his arm nonchalantly, "But I guess this will be sufficient. Hay, clan leader, think you can take care of the rest."
"With pleasure." He smiled, unleashing his aura, "We can take care of those flying lizards."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, WAIT." Rumi screamed, "How did this all happen? Who in the world are you?" she pointed at Skyler.
"Me?" Skyler replied, titling his head, "I’m just a mage who couldn’t stand your overconfident guts. Didn’t you know babbling on the battlefield is futile."
"What!" Rumi looked at him with disgust.
’That’s not possible.’ Sato thought, looking strangely at Skyler, ’A mage can wield three graces at the most. He just unleashed five of them. Not to mention, he also combined two elements from different graces without any kind of incantations. And the level of strength— a Sorcerer.’
Sato jumped from the back of the wyvern, standing in front of the adventurers who were prepared to attacks. However, he didn’t gave them attention. He gazed at Skyler, and said,darkening his eyes, "You’re a sorcerer, aren’t you?"
