Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 136: Move Aside
"They’ve gone too far this time!"
Tristan Grayson shouted in frustration, "Cassian Jennings, I think you’re the one who’s lost his mind! Don’t tell me you don’t know what kind of person the old Gia Miller was." He didn’t mind him messing around with Gia Miller usually; after all, it was just for fun.
’...’ Yes, he knew. But he never would have imagined that after all these years, he would actually fall for Gia Miller.
"Tristan, just stay out of this. We’re still friends, just like before."
"You think I want to get involved in your business? This isn’t just about the Avery Family anymore, the Joyce Family is involved too! Are you really going to destroy the entire Jennings Family for one Gia Miller?" ’If he wasn’t mistaken, after what was done to Gia Miller this time, the Miller Family would never dare to retaliate. In fact, they would do everything in their power to bury the incident.’
Cassian Jennings suddenly curled his lip into a smirk. He narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "Tristan, did Aiden Avery send you here?" ’Trying to use the Joyce Family to pressure me?’
"Yeah. You know how much Aiden Avery dotes on his sister. You broke Amelia’s heart, so of course he’s going to make you suffer a bit."
"Heh, suffer a bit? He had me locked up in the police station for two days. Fine, I can take that. But what does he do? He resorts to dirty tricks behind my back."
"Aiden Avery really had nothing to do with what happened to Gia Miller!"
Cassian Jennings slammed his palm on the table and roared, "If he did have a hand in it, then our friendship is over!"
Just then, Cassian Jennings’s phone started ringing in his pocket. He suppressed his anger, pulled it out, and glanced at the screen. His brows furrowed instantly. He looked down at the man on the sofa. "Tristan, didn’t Aiden Avery want me to make his sister give up on me completely? Heh, well, you can tell him that from now on, Gia Miller and I are officially a couple."
"Cassian Jennings, don’t be ridiculous..."
"I’m not being ridiculous. I don’t care what kind of woman Gia Lane is, she is my woman." With that, Cassian Jennings gripped his phone tightly and stormed out of the suite.
Watching Cassian Jennings leave, Tristan Grayson raised a hand to his temple, a headache coming on. He leaned back against the sofa, looking exhausted, and closed his eyes to rest.
Just then, a woman appeared at the doorway, staring intently at the man on the sofa with a look of tender affection.
’Ever since he announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, she hadn’t seen him once. To think she would actually run into him here today.’
Tristan Grayson’s eyes suddenly snapped open. He felt uneasy, as if someone was watching him. Just as he was about to sit up and see who it was, a woman’s slightly apologetic voice sounded. "I’m so sorry, I must have the wrong room. I didn’t mean to disturb you."
Upon seeing it was a woman who wasn’t a complete stranger, Tristan Grayson’s expression instantly turned cold. He didn’t say a word, simply getting up and walking toward the door.
Watching the man get closer and closer, the woman’s heart pounded in her chest. A faint blush crept up her cheeks as she smiled softly and said, "Tristan, I can’t believe I ran into you here. It must be fate."
The strong scent of the woman’s perfume made Tristan Grayson frown in disgust. He took a step back and barked in a glacial tone, "Move!"
Seeing that this Tristan was completely different from the Tristan she had met on set, Rowan Ross’s expression turned awful. She hurriedly explained, "Tristan, we filmed a commercial together before. Have you forgotten me? I’m Rowan Ross!"
"Who you are has nothing to do with me. Move. Don’t make me say it a third time."
