Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Stimulation

Siren’s Night reigned supreme over all of Tridell’s entertainment venues. πšπ•£π•–πšŽπš πšŽπš‹πš—π¨π―π•–π•.π•”π¨π•ž

It had six floors in total, each with a different kind of venue.

The first floor was a billiards hall, the second was a nightclub, the third was a restaurant, the fourth held VIP suites, and the fifth was a casino. The sixth floor, however, was Siren’s Night’s main event: the women’s auction.

Aiden Avery stared at the two words flashing in neon before him, his expression frighteningly dark. An icy chill seemed to emanate from him.

He refused to believe that his Amelia would ever come to a place like this.

Seeing Tristan already a step ahead of him and walking toward Siren’s Night, he said coldly, "Tristan, this is no place for you. You should head back."

"It doesn’t matter if it’s suitable or not. Now that I’ve retired from the entertainment industry, I don’t care what the public thinks. Let’s go."

Aiden Avery didn’t try to persuade him further. He simply nodded, and the two of them walked toward the main entrance together.

Leo Joyce was sprawled over the table, his voice practically a whine as he pleaded with the woman sitting across from him. "I’m begging you, can we please take a break? We’ve been at this for a full day and night."

"No!" Amelia Avery shot back, not even sparing him a glance. She held a cigarette in one hand and her cards in the other.

"Amelia, you’re out of money. What are you going to bet with now?" Leo Joyce hadn’t wanted to call her out, but since she showed no signs of stopping, he had no choice but to remind her.

"I’m definitely going to win this time."

"You’ve said that a million times. Look, we can keep playing... but if we’re going to, why don’t we make it a little more exciting?"

"Exciting? How?" His words immediately piqued the interest of the other women in the room.

Amelia Avery sneered, tossing her cards onto the table. She looked up at Leo Joyce. "I’m listening."

"Just betting money is so boring. Instead... let’s bet on a one-night stand!" Leo Joyce rose to his feet with a flourish, snapping his fingers. He spoke with a roguish grin.

"Wow! What a great idea!" The other three women in the room practically swooned, their eyes sparkling. They looked at Leo Joyce as if they wanted to devour him on the spot.

Leo Joyce adjusted his collar and arched a devilish eyebrow. "So? What do you say, Amelia? Do you dare?"

"..." Amelia’s expression instantly darkened at his words. She shot Leo Joyce an angry glare, but before she could speak, another woman jumped in. "Young Master Joyce, I’ll take that bet! I’ll bet you!"

The corner of Leo Joyce’s mouth twitched. He ignored the overeager woman, turning his provocative gaze back to Amelia. "Don’t tell me you’re scared, Amelia?"

Amelia knew Leo Joyce was just goading her into quitting, that he wasn’t serious about the bet. But she clenched her fists anyway, her voice cold and hard as she said, "Fine! I’ll take your bet!" ’Since Cassian Jennings doesn’t like me and refuses to have me, what does it matter who I’m with or what I do?’

"Are you serious, Amelia? You can’t back out if you lose, you know." Leo Joyce had never expected her to agree, so he had to ask again to be sure.

Amelia Avery let out a scornful laugh. "I, Amelia Avery, always keep my word. I never back down!" As she spoke, she rose and strode over to Leo Joyce. She grabbed him by the collar, her voice icy and dripping with contempt. "Or what, Leo Joyce? Are *you* the one who’s afraid to bet with me?"
