Glancing at young Yognot, Feng Yuan marveled. Although he thought this might not be a good thing, it was, after all, Cha Mu Town’s internal issue, so he couldn’t say much. Moreover, Drudgeon’s involvement added another layer of complexity to the situation.

"Have you consulted with those Legendary Beastmasters about these plans?"

"Is there a problem?"

"There is a small issue. Based on your proposed conditions, it would attract Beastmasters who are still in the growth phase, which does not match your requirements."

Dou Yanlan hesitated, explaining that teachers like those in their academy wouldn’t be drawn in by He Nanqing’s conditions. Although they might only be Legendary Beastmasters and still far from the Legendary Level, they choose to stay at the academy because their strength growth has already slowed to a crawl.

In such cases, what resources can He Nanqing provide that would be of use? As for Spirit Beasts, it’s even more unrealistic. A Legendary Beastmaster’s beast team is more or less already formed, and at this point, they raise Spirit Beasts more according to personal preference.

Just as Feng Yuan was doing now, though Feng Yuan himself was already a Legendary Beastmaster, so he could mess around as he pleased.

Could He Nanqing’s plan be effective under such circumstances?

Watching Dou Yanlan’s serious expression for a moment, He Nanqing laughed softly and said,

"We never intended to directly recruit Beastmasters who have passed the rapid growth phase. It might take a long time to see results, but isn’t forming good relations before they take off better than simple transactions? I’m not fond of mere profit exchanges."

"So you’re... investing in the new generation of Beastmasters?"

Hearing this, Dou Yanlan understood He Nanqing’s intentions. Even with resource exchanges, the entire Cha Mu District wouldn’t necessarily be more appealing than Maomu Academy.

The teachers at Maomu Academy don’t necessarily work there just for a stable job. If they contribute to the cultivation of Beastmasters, even Great Xia would reward them handsomely. No matter what, Cha Mu District can’t compete for Legendary Beastmasters with the Beast Taming Academy backed by Great Xia.

This proactive support of Beastmasters is definitely approved; otherwise, the influential families would have done it already. It’s limited to prevent the influential families from stirring trouble and prematurely drawing Divine Beasts by betting on every potential Beastmasters.

Upon returning home, Feng Yuan saw Qi Xiaoshuang sitting on the sofa reading a book. Although she hid it well, Feng Yuan sensed that Qi Xiaoshuang had been waiting for him and Qi Chen to come back.

Therefore, that plaza is still relatively important to Maomu City. After all, for any special events needing a venue, they can directly use the plaza rather than find other means.

So, not only Qi Xiaoshuang, but even Feng Yuan believed they might have to find a large empty space within the city’s interior to convert into a plaza. Otherwise, when celebrations are held, Maomu City might face the awkward situation of borrowing space from places like Maomu Academy to host events.

As for Qi Xiaoshuang’s suggestion about Mao Mu Forest, though it’s also within the city, that area is indeed too remote, or rather, the vastness of Mao Mu Forest means the surroundings seem more like suburbs.

Converting that place into a park? Feng Yuan thought it unlikely. Even if the area currently didn’t have much use, it was still reserved for contingencies by Maomu City. Unless in special circumstances, he didn’t think they would easily develop and use it.
