Divine Beast Creator-Chapter 1902 - 1903: Approaching
"Can it really be done?"
Looking at the giant inflatable Husky that appeared out of thin air, Feng Yuan said in surprise. Veronia seemed to think of something as she suspiciously glanced at Feng Yuan and said,
"Did you use the heart’s interference in this area to create this thing?"
"It’s not that complicated, just wishful thinking."
Turning to Yang Hongzhi, seeing him looking completely bewildered as if asking ’What are you talking about?’, Feng Yuan chuckled and explained.
Since the place constructs the world based on thoughts of the heart, then in the core area, turning one’s fantasy into reality doesn’t seem impossible.
"It seems... No, I can’t create a sea ship."
Frowning, Yang Hongzhi tried for a while and puzzledly said to Feng Yuan, "Can this place really do as you wish?"
"Uh, it seems there are restrictions, overly normal things can’t be created, or rather..."
Glancing towards the direction of the pink whale group, Feng Yuan hesitated and tried. The next second, a giant adorable cartoon jellyfish appeared out of thin air and splashed into the sea. Seeing the cartoon jellyfish wave its tentacles in greeting, Feng Yuan stroked his chin and said,
"Indeed, it can’t accept overly realistic things, but fairy tale creatures can be created."
"I see, then..."
Upon hearing Feng Yuan’s words, Veronia tried again, but found that she couldn’t even create a small raft from the Sea of Hope. Confused, she asked Feng Yuan,
"It seems off; if real things can’t be created, why can’t the maritime tools from the Sea of Hope?"
"Uh, probably because those things are too similar to real ships? And it seems we can’t create pink whales either, but that’s no big deal."
Stroking his chin, Feng Yuan analyzed, looking towards the pink whale group, placing a hand on Xiao Ji’s head, he said,
"Let’s go, besides whales, sea turtles are also a good vehicle."
The giant sea turtle splashed into the sea, almost wetting Xiao Ji on the beach. After running a distance away, she saw Feng Yuan heading into the sea and hesitated before following.
"Later we might need the Data Spirit Fox to communicate with her. If I’m right, there should be a protective barrier around her. While it might be possible to break through forcibly..."
On the sea turtle’s back, Feng Yuan looked at the Data Spirit Fox and said, bringing it along partly to approach Luo Xiaoxiao, considering she doesn’t know any of them. Seeing strangers approach, Luo Xiaoxiao might be more frightened; if it triggers abnormal changes in the space, that would be troublesome.
Calling out softly, the Data Spirit Fox didn’t oppose Feng Yuan’s suggestion. It seemed reasonable; while not fully understanding Luo Xiaoxiao’s situation, it knew a bunch of strangers forcibly approaching might scare her.
The large sea turtle moved quickly on the sea; soon, Feng Yuan and the group neared the giant pink whales. Behind one giant pink whale, Feng Yuan saw something resembling a pavilion.
However, that pink whale was surrounded by other pink whales like stars around the moon, and with the distance, Feng Yuan wasn’t sure if he was seeing things.
Suddenly, the Data Spirit Fox called out, trying to prevent the group from approaching further. Not quite understanding what it was saying, Feng Yuan nevertheless immediately ordered the sea turtle to stop.
Then, a red big octopus emerged from the sea, waving its giant tentacles seemingly angrily; yet the cartoonish image of the big octopus in fury appeared more amusing than frightening to Feng Yuan.
The Data Spirit Fox jumped forward, calling to the big octopus; however, the octopus seemed devoid of intelligence, continuously striking the sea surface with its large tentacles. As Feng Yuan pondered whether to conjure more guards to deal with it, the Data Spirit Fox suddenly began to sing.
The song was light and far-reaching, seemingly capable of soothing all inner wounds, yet Feng Yuan understood it was merely an illusion. Although the Data Spirit Fox mysteriously used this Mystic Series ultimate move, he knew that if it truly worked, the Despair Amusement Park wouldn’t have emerged in the first place.
While the song couldn’t truly dispel violence, the giant octopus gradually calmed, glancing at the Data Spirit Fox before slowly sinking into the sea.
As the big octopus disappeared, white mist began rising from the sea surface, the pink whales singing the same song as the Data Spirit Fox, but the white mist continued to expand.
"Strange, what exactly is happening? Could this area be collapsing?"
Feng Yuan stroked his chin, not understanding why this odd situation occurred. Was it because the area was nearing collapse, thus the Data Spirit Fox’s soothing had a reverse effect?
Though unable to figure it out, Feng Yuan knew one thing: time was not on their side.
The sea turtle quickly approached the pink whale group under Feng Yuan’s command, but by then, the pink whales blocked the sea turtle like guards.
For some reason, Feng Yuan had an instinctive feeling that if he acted against the pink whales, something very bad would happen. However, without driving them off, how could they approach the pink whale with the pavilion on its back?
Calling softly, the Data Spirit Fox was also anxious, although Feng Yuan hadn’t mentioned it, it too sensed the severity of the situation, fearing that...
They hummed again, but this time the pink whale did not retreat. Yet, the Data Spirit Fox refused to give up, continuously singing in attempt to disperse the blockers so it could approach Luo Xiaoxiao.
"I’m sorry... calling, I..."
A somewhat weak voice suddenly echoed in everyone’s ears. Hearing this voice, the Data Spirit Fox wagged its tail more rapidly while continuing its song.
"Don’t... don’t come near me..."
"I... I... don’t want to implicate you..."
"Well, if you keep preventing us from approaching, I think it might actually end up implicating her. Perhaps you don’t realize, after this space collapses, the entire abnormal... the entire dream space will completely collapse, and at that time, being in the dream space will drag her along to perish. So..."
Without hesitation, Feng Yuan urged, judging that the voice belonged to Luo Xiaoxiao, who likely could hear him speaking there.
"No! It can’t... I... I’ll have to send you away..."
"Answer me oh!"
"Oh God! Can you not let the miracle... let the miracle see me once more..."
"Sorry... I’m sorry... calling... I..."
"The situation is not that dire yet, who knows, maybe we are the miracle~"
Seeing the mist suddenly thicken, Feng Yuan guessed something and said with a carefree grin, but the voice didn’t respond again. Just as everyone thought the persuasion failed, the pink whale moved to create a pathway, and Feng Yuan breathed a sigh of relief seeing the waterway leading to the pink whale with a pavilion on its back.
Finally, time to reach the starting point of all this? Although he had claimed they might be the miracle, he knew very well that abnormal space couldn’t simply act according to his wishes.
What’s more, as abnormal space begins to collapse, it means each passing second diminishes the core’s control over the entire abnormal space.
Hopefully, there’s still time, Feng Yuan thought silently, as the sea turtle carried the group quickly towards that pink whale. The Data Spirit Fox stood at the front eagerly, yet even so, it continued singing, as it had no other means to aid Luo Xiaoxiao.
It could only soothe her emotions with its song, ensuring she wasn’t saddened, though it couldn’t assist with much else.
Agunas looked at Veronia and said,
"Let’s act together later, trying to send everyone out as much as possible."
It didn’t know if the core could still interfere with abnormal space, but Agunas hoped the answer was affirmative. If so, at least... the casualties might be reduced.
"I can only say I’ll try my best. Seeing how things are now, it seems... this abnormal space is reaching its limit too."
Looking around, Veronia said softly. It too was unsure how much it and Agunas could achieve, or perhaps hoping Feng Yuan could create a miracle?
