Deus: We are all Lords-Chapter 160 More territory
Chapter 160 More territory
As soon as the announcement was made, they all saw the usual portal appear that would lead them out of the battlefield.
"Okay boys. Pack up, lets go" Jerry ordered as he began walking towards the portal.
On the other side of the portal, Kingsley sat on his throne with a smile on his face, he had successfully conquered more than half the population of the region.
"Huh?... I didn't think it would be this fast" Kingsley remarked
For some reason, he felt disappointed by it. He had strangely expected the battle to last for much longer than this.
Of course, he was happy to have succeeded in his goal but this sort of felt empty. Maybe the overall strength of his territory had long since overcome the rest of the region.
"83 percent of the regions population... These last few people really killed a lot of people" Kingsley noted
There were originally thirty one million people in the region then there were about twenty million lords after the First Event.
This simply meant that at least eighteen million people died from then till now. However, that was understandable, humanity is a race that is used to pushing themselves to extinction.
"Half the population and Half the region... We are going somewhere" Kingsley said to himself
In terms of land mass, he was pretty sure that the African Continent would fit into his territory and there would still be enough space for another half.
Initially he had a total of two million hectares which came from all his conquering and rewards from the System but after this, things were way different.
The Alliance had at least a million people in it and more were even joining during the battle. Each of these lords had also conquered multiple territories from both Natives and fellow lords alike.
The new size of his territory was bound to be incredibly huge after he conquered them. Using the transmitters in collaboration with his powers, he guessed he now had around fifty million square kilometres of land to use.
The Continent of Africa was only about thirty million square kilometres. The whole continent could fit in his territory and he could still jam in half the continent in.
Hell even the true largest continent on Earth, Asia could be fit into his territory with a little over six million square kilometres remaining.
And this was barely 70 percent of the region. It was a thing of joy that they had won the battle but thinking about things now, it would be very stressful in the future.
"My lord!"
A voice was heard as Kingsley turned to its direction, it was a dragon
Dressed in standard Guard uniform, she took a bow and waited as though waiting for Kingsley to acknowledge her presence
"Go on?" Kingsley replied
"I was sent to inform you that the warriors, you sent have returned Victorious" The dragon said
"I see... Inform them that I will be out shortly" Kingsley replied as the Dragon stood up, bowed and then left.
Though he didn't want to admit it, he did enjoy all the bowing and other ceremonies that they performed because he was king, it was enjoyable.
However the main issue was simply that it gets tedious and tiresome. A simple call would have been better and much faster than the dragon messenger but what could he say.
"83 percent" Kingsley said again before chuckling as he stood up and began walking towards the exist of the castle.
Following behind him were the Thrones in a neat formation and around them were the other guards put in charge of securing him by Viktor and Athena.
A true King's Guard, their uniform was a tiny bit different from the rest of the castle guards but it was barely noticeable. They arranged themselves around the Thrones who wouldn't let them get anywhere close to him.
As soon as he got out of the castle, he saw the large group of people outside the castle's gates. Amongst them were the group that had participated in the battle.
"Your majesty" A voice called out as Kingsley turned to its source.
Looking, he saw Viktor walking up to him. For the first time, he didn't feel small standing next to the demon god. He may still have a long way to go to reach the demon's height but he was close.
Well truthfully he should be comparing himself to the Thrones not Viktor. Viktor was at most nine feet tall or probably less but The thrones were a whooping ten feet tall and more.
He didn't have accurate measuring tools so he couldn't get an accurate size but judging from his own height, he could guess what theirs was.
"Viktor, it's been a long time" Kingsley said, making the arch demon look at him funny
"Your Majesty, you saw me yesterday"
"Hm... Really, I guess I was too occupied with other things to notice" Kingsley replied
"I simply wanted to inform you that the shield blocking the territory is gone"
"It's not gone, it moved... We still can't move beyond our territory until whatever this is ends" Kingsley said
This was the only downside to everything, he may not have land so expansive and big that it would take him years to walk from one side to the other.
However in order to continue his mission to conquer the rest of the region, he would need to formally declare war on them through the system.
It was slow but he believed they could do it somehow, even if at the moment, he didn't know how they could do so. The system was really limiting him in every way.
"I see"
"For now, reorganize the army... The territory just became massive and there are hundreds of Native nations within it... Conquer them all" Kingsley ordered
"As you wish, your majesty"
"Actually get Ethan and Euroa to do that... I need you here, the territory is too big, we need to figure out a better system of governance" Kingsley said
"I will inform them of this"

Their conversation continued in whispers covered up by the shouts of the celebrating governors and troops.
...
I know the sudden change to the territory's original size may be weird but I thought to change it since with how things are going, the region may turn out small
