Although Anathiel died, the monsters kept coming out of the portals and they were a lot stronger than the previous ones. It looked like they wouldn't stop coming until they knew how to close the portals, and it would be hard to even get close to the portals since they were protected by guardians.

"Protect the rear! They're planning to sneak on us! Those who can handle the monsters should be at the front and the rest should support them!" Elestria ordered as she looked at the dire situation. "We have lost a lot of people, and losing even one more is dangerous," she pointed out.

"Your Highness, watch out!" Tristan was running toward Elestria as fast as he could and looked at the wyvern that was diving toward her.

Because of Anathiel's death, the monsters didn't care about the order anymore and started to attack Elestria. Since the situation had worsened, anything could kill everyone if they weren't careful with their surroundings.

Elestria didn't know what to do since it was already too late to avoid the wyvern and ran away from its sight. She only had one option and that was to try to escape at the last second and maybe bring it down with her. But suddenly the wyvern's head exploded and fell straight down, killing those who were unaware of what was above them.

"Are you alright, Your Highness?" Mykel landed in front of Elestria and checked on every part of her body.

"I'm fine. Was it you who killed that thing?" Elstria answered and looked at the headless wyvern in front of her. "Thank you..." She sighed with relief and tried to keep her composure in front of Mykel.

"The battle isn't over yet. We need to get rid of them or worse we will have to fight them in the future. We don't know how strong the next one is, so we need to get rid of as many as we can here," Mykel pointed out as he looked at the amount of dead bodies. "Everything will be fine. I'm here now," he added.

Elestria looked at Mykel's unscathed and uninjured body, only a few cuts on his suit and shirt, revealing his muscles. She couldn't believe the man in front of him was so powerful that he could easily kill a higher being with no injuries.

"I understand now," Elestria said as she looked at the rapier in her hand. "It's not the time to talk, we must kill as many as we can," she pointed and walked past Mykel.

Elestria worked together with Javelin and Zachary to deal with the monsters. She showed her leadership on the battlefield was extraordinary and it could be easily digested by everyone. Her plan was flawless and it made everyone feel at ease knowing she could turn the tide by simply using the resources that she had.

Mykel whose job was to protect Elestria, only made a few moves and barely killed the monsters compared to others. The Zero Tiers were deployed in different positions to support the sides where they struggled. It didn't take long until the final monster came out of the portal, a massive legless dragon with four wings on its back.

The dragon landed and it created a massive earthquake and everyone fell because of it. A dragon that could easily crush a mountain by wrapping its body. The dragon was as black as tar and its body and wings were covered with a tar-like gooey substance. Every time it dripped and touched the ground, it melted the ground and released a gas.

"Should we retreat? I don't think we can handle it," Aston asked as he rubbed his knuckles because he believed he had broken all his knuckles.

"That depends on the leader's call," Zachary looked at Mykel and he was unfazed by the titanic creature in the distance. "We will do what he says."

"He killed that demon, it should be an easy task for him to kill that thing on his own. I mean what's the point for us to be here if he can do it all alone in the first place?" Aston asked and stared at Mykel with suspicion.

Zachary noticed that as well, and he wondered why he wanted to bring everyone with him in the first place. He might know the reason and that was so everyone here could receive the rewards for clearing the rift from the Gods. The question was why he bothered to do that, was it because he wanted to be called a hero? But he knew that Mykel had no worldly desires, and he didn't care about other people as well.

"Javelin, do you think you can handle this?" Mykel looked at Javelin who was floating and sitting on her staff like a witch.

"Why does it feel like you could tell what's in my head..." Javelin squinted her eyes as she looked down at Mykel. "I might give it a try, and I need someone to hold it back for me. But, I'm not confident that my magic will be enough to kill it," she added.

"Victoria, it's your job. You would love to have that thing's power right? Go and do your job," Mykel glanced at Victoria who was staring at the dragon with admiration.

Victoria glanced back at Mykel with an annoyed expression, but he wasn't wrong about it. She sighed and then lifted her hands, pulling out bones from the ground that were as tall as skyscrapers. She then swung her hand down and pointed it at the dragon, and then all the bones started to fall on top of the dragon.

The dragon could easily break them all and it made it furious, making a loud roar and releasing the tar-like saliva from its mouth like a rain. Nobody would be able to survive that if they got too close to it, and the only ones who could deal with the dragon were Victoria and Javelin.

"Take your time, I'll play with the dragon for you," Victoria said as she walked forward and spawned more bones from the ground.

Javelin flew up high into the sky and everyone watched those two in action. They were also in a different league from them, and they were thrilled to see what those two were going to do to the titanic creature in front of them.

While Victoria was busy playing with the dragon and distracted by it, Javelin was up high above the clouds and she created something divine. Everyone could see the bright light beyond the clouds and it created a giant halo above the dragons.

She was using her staff to draw the magic circle and so far it was the biggest magic circle she had ever made. She learned a lot from experimenting with magic and analyzing them to the very core of magic itself. She was guided by Rozan and Shelly which was why she understood everything and could achieve something Godly in the future.

Victoria looked like she was dancing with air as she moved her arms up, down, and sideways. She looked so majestic if they saw her only and not what she did with her power that made a dragon struggle to free itself from her dancing palms.

"I did say you should take your time, but how long are you going to make me wait?" Victoria started to sweat and lose her focus and struggled to maintain the bones.

As soon as she said that, a bright light shined so brightly as if the sun had just risen. Everyone looked up with their eye squinted, and they were baffled when they saw the halo made the sky clear and something was coming out in the middle. It wasn't a halo, it was a portal and it was the biggest portal that they had ever since.

When the dragon looked up, it was weakened by the presence of the light and its body started to melt. The ray was like a spotlight pointing at the dragon, and then something came out of the portal, a massive gold sword slowly descended toward it. That was the upgraded version of the divine light that she did back then, and it still took a huge toll on her spiritual body, but she borrowed an immense amount of spiritual energy from Rozan and Shelly.

Everyone was convinced that the sword could kill the dragon, and when the sword had fully spawned itself, it flew down at the speed of light. But before the sword could pierce the dragon's body, something came in and shattered the sword. The explosion blinded everyone and they couldn't see anything for a whole minute.

When they opened their eyes, they noticed feathers were falling in front of their faces. Gold feathers and then when they looked at the dragon, they were stunned by the beautiful gold feathered wings. They thought they saw a Goddess in front of them, but when they noticed the woman was protecting the dragon with her wings, they realized the woman was an enemy.

"You may kill her, but this guy is my sister's favorite pet," Beldathiel said. "So, I would like you to understand," she spread her wings and the massive dragon disappeared into thin air.

Victoria and Javelin who were the closest immediately cast their ability at Beldathiel. When the bones were about to pierce her, the bones shattered before they could reach her. Javelin cast the smaller divine swords at her and it had the same result, the swords shattered before they could reach her.

"No need to rush, I saw that you have lost quite a lot of your men. We will meet once you're ready," Beldathiel said with her stoic expression. "Especially you. I'll be waiting for you," she looked at Mykel and then disappeared, leaving her feathers behind.
