Adrain and Sam went to the basement and found the couple cuddled together in the corner.

The moment they entered, the girl hid behind her boyfriend, " Do you still feel the bond?" Adrain asked.

Sam shook his head, " No I don’t, it’s gone."

" Perhaps sniffing her panties just made your horny." Adrain laughed then bang, a punch sent him crashing on the wall.

Seeing the strength behind that punch terrified the young couple but they were even more scared that Adrian was fine and he just kept laughing.

Then the conversation registered and the woman touched her lower part, she realised she wasn’t wearing panties.

In fact she couldn’t recognise the clothes she was wearing, " Wh..who changed..what did you do to me."

She covered herself with her arms and tears started streaming down her eyes, Adrain just clicked his tongue.

" Don’t flatter yourself, I just dressed you coz you were butt naked, you would’ve frozen to death, it was this idiot next to me who sniffed your panties."

He almost couldn’t hold his laughter prompting Sam to punch him again, he didn’t dodge the punch.

" Shut the fuck up dude, you’re ruining my good name." He coughed twice drawing the couple’s attention.

" Let me clarify, I only did that to track your scent, your panties were the only thing of yours we had.

Had I not done that, we wouldn’t have found you and you and your boyfriend here would’ve died."

" We definitely would’ve find you regardless, he just wanted to sniff your panties, he’s famous for that, stealing panties everywhere we go."

Adrain cut him off, his voice didn’t hold any playfulness, he sounded serious making the couple look at Sam in a new light.

Sam felt his anger boiling and he growled like a wolf, " Dude, stop ruining my name with your lies."

He kicked Adrain on the chest and sent his flying across the room, the entire metal room shook when he hit the wall.

A huge dent was formed on the wall, John was terrified but he still stood defensively in front of his girl.

" I’m kidding, he doesn’t sniff panties, he just collects them, he’s a panties collector, an artist if you want to call him that."

Sam just sighed with fatigue and didn’t bother arguing anymore, he looked at the couple and his eyes turned cold.

" Down to business, you remember what happened to you that day so I’ll get straight to the point.

Yes the supernatural world and monsters exist, yes we’re not human and no we will not harm you."

Sam answered questions they didn’t even ask and Adrain couldn’t stop himself from laughing.

This guy who kept mocking him for acting cool was not acting like some mysterious figure.

Then he stopped laughing and his hair and eyes turned silver, why did he do this you may ask?

To look cool of course and it worked, he could see their eyes shining, especially the girl.

After all, Adrian was already handsome and he was even more dashing when he took his second form.

It made him look mystical like some magical prince or something, his aura rose, although they couldn’t sense him since they were normal humans.

It gave him a sense of mystery and power that made them feel like they were in the presence of a higher being.

" As he said, you’ve learnt of a world you never should’ve known, this knowledge will place you and those you care for in the ever devouring shadows."

’ Damn that was cool, think you can outdo me in coolness you prick.’ he thought with a smirk and gave Sam a side glance.

Sam just shook his head at his antics, Adrian continued.

" Through no fault of your own your fate seized to be yours, but fear not for I will grant it back to you.

I give you a choice to make and this will decide your future." He produced two coins, one gold and one black.

The gold coin was a normal mundane coin from ancient kingdom, the black coin was a magic coin made of black elk.

" Take the gold coin, I will remove your memories of this entire endeavour, you will forget all you saw and all you experienced.

You will return to you mundane lives, as compensation I will ensure you receive a sum of money, you will live in ignorance of that in the shadows but your lives will be relatively peaceful.

Take the black coin and a new world will open to you, I will make you like us, you will wield power beyond your wildest imagination.

But bear in mind, it will come with a cost." He waited patiently.

" Could you give us some time to think about it?" John asked and Adrian’s eyes turned colder.

He could give them some time, he was not in a hurry but he was acting the role of some powerful villain or so he thought.

" Time you ask? I will give you ten seconds, if you fail to make a choice by then, the choice will no longer be yours to make."

John thanked him even though it was obvious he was not satisfied but he didn’t dare express his dissatisfaction.

It took them less than 7 seconds to make the decision, they whispered but both Sam and Adrain could clearly hear them.

" We’ll join." John shouted and Adrain grinned.

" Good choice, now lets begin." He opened his mouth and his his fangs gleamed like daggers.

" Wait." Suzie shouted and Adrain stopped.

" What?" He asked impatiently.

" I..I have a little sister, will..will I be able to see her again?" She asked.

Adrian sighed, " This is troublesome, don’t you also have a family?" He asked John.

John shook his head, " I have a mom but she’s a drunk and drug addict, she’s the reason I ran away."

Adrain nodded, " And you, tell me about this sister of yours."

" She..she’s sixteen and lives in a boarding school for girls, I only get to see her a few times a year and I still need to pay for her tuition and other expenses."

Adrian nodded, " Fine, your sister will be taken care of and some day I’ll give her the same option, are you satisfied?" He asked and she nodded.

" Good, how lets us begin." He pounced and bit their necks and injected his transformation venom inside them.

Both of them fainted immediately after. Adrain looked at Sam, " Take care of them for now, I’ll contact the detective later."
