Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Conclusion

Adrian didn’t fully understand the abilities of noble vampires, while he did have the mind to spare these guys and have them spy for him.

He was also thinking about just killing them outright, but first he needed to know which of the three vampires barons sent them.

" Now then, are you willing to tell me which of the three sent you?" He asked ready to torture them for the information.

" Karon, it was lord Karon." The butler Lucas answered instantly which caught Adrain by surprise.

" Wow, this guy is spineless isn’t he?" Sam mocked, Lucas looked down but didn’t dare say anything.

Adrian nodded, " Thank you, now I need you to do something for me." The vampires nodded.

" You will go back to your lord and be my spies, what you tell him about what happened here is up to you."

They hesitated but when they saw the way he was looking at them, they readily agreed then something Adrian hadn’t expected happened.

The vampires froze, a glimmer of fear appeared in their eyes, " No, my lord please." Lucas begged.

Adrian had no idea what was happening then the vampires screamed and writhed in agony.

Their skins flaked like ashes, rivers of blood fell down their ears staining the floor, their screams turned hoarse.

Their bodies were breaking down piece by piece and eventually they dropped dead, Lucas lasted longer.

" My lord please forgive me, I will not betray your heart, I beg you." He shouted to the air but no answer came.

Eventually he took dropped dead, Adrian checked their bodies and found their brains had been melted by their own blood which was boiling hot.

" Quite ruthless." Sam whispered but his voice was flat as if their deaths didn’t effect him and it did not.

The way he perceives the world and death has changed since he became a werewolf. The detective was different.

Her hands were shaking with fear, she thought Adrain had done this, while she had seen him kill others, it was always quick.

Not slow painful deaths like the one she has just witnessed. She looked at him and had the thought of running but stopped herself.

She knew she couldn’t outrun these monsters and she couldn’t even understand how their abilities work.

She might just die without even knowing how she died. Adrain sighed and stood up.

" Vampires are quite ruthless aren’t theyz killing their own people like this, but why?" He whispered, she understood now that it wasn’t him who did this.

South of the city near the very edge was a massive compound standing alone amidst a forest of trees.

Inside this compound sat a handsome hound man with red eyes, he was twirling a glass of a red blood liquid in his hand.

Around him were over a dozen naked woman all doing their best to please him but he ignored them.

He sighed, " Pity." He had just lost a lot of useful tools, as a noble vampire he had some control over those he sired.

While he couldn’t outrun control their actions, he can feel their thoughts to an extent.

Not the exact thought but more like what they leaned towards, he had always known that old fool harboured grand ambitions.

The old man Lucas was sired by his father but the sire was transferred to him when he came of age.

So even though he wasn’t the one who sired Lucas he was still no different from his own sire.

The reason he had ignored Lucas’s ambitious thoughts was that they paused neither threat nor malice towards him.

But right he had just felt him and a lot of other vampires harbouring malice and thought of betrayal towards him.

Naturally he activated the blood curse that all nobles place upon their sired vampires, these vampires don’t even know this blood curse exist.

Baron Karon thought the vampires had gained some rich rewards from hunting that audacious creature that dared to hunt his pets in his own territory.

He had sent a lot of vampires but only a few had betrayed him, he believed at least one would come back with good news and his mood turned for the better.

Unfortunately while he could sometimes sense the intentions of his sired subordinates, he couldn’t sense their lives.

So he didn’t know that all of his subordinates were dead and that he had made himself a great enemy.

Back in Sanchez’s house.

Adrian stood up to leave, he left the corpses on the floor and only took their hearts. Before he got out the door he threw something at Sanchez.

It was a whistle, she now realised he had left the dog in her house. " Wait!" She shouted but his body flickered and he was gone.

" I’ll contact you." That was the last thing she heard then he was gone, she looked at her floor and sighed.

She has gotten herself into a lot of trouble and had no idea what to do with these corpses.

If somebody shows up here with so many bodies on the ground she wouldn’t know how to explain herself.

Just as she was thinking about what she was going to do with them, the dog walked towards the bodies.

It opened its mouth and it turned into a giant maw with razor sharp teeth, it sucked the bodies in like their were noodles.

Even all the blood that was on the floor was sucked into its mouth, the floor was left spotless leaving her dumbfounded.

It waved its tail and walked towards her, she flinched but it didn’t seem to notice and rubbed its head against her thighs.

Sanchez felt her heart pounding then realised it wasn’t hurting her, it was acting just like a normal dog.

She relaxed a bit and carefully lowered her hand to brush its neck, its fur felt warm and soft and made her relax.

She slumped on to her chair and sighed heavily then started crying, she cried so much she started laughing like a maniac.

" Oh Rosa, what have you gotten yourself into?"
