Asmodeus loved fighting.

One could say he loved fighting as much as sex, but knowing this, his wives turned sex into a constant stream of battles.

Nevertheless, this fact remained true.

So whenever the possibility of a battle which could pose him danger appeared, he would jump at such a wonderful opportunity!

BOOM!

Without giving the black slimes a chance to lunge at him, he unleashed a dozen elemental spears upon them. The mana leaving his body was as comfortable as when Lumina's soft lips slid along the surface of his manhood, then sucking on the tip. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

'Though, Serena said this was because of my proclivities.'

Fire, wind, ice, earth, blood, darkness and light rained down like the apocalypse as he snapped his fingers, regenerating the magic circles and firing more.

A disgusting squishy sound echoed with each barrage of lances. He poured more and more mana into them, which changed the land's shape after the fifth salvo. That's when Asmodeus took a deep breath and stopped.

He stretched his muscles and watched.

Then curled his lips into a broad grin as the smoke settled.

A deep crater remained.

But inside this crater, a disfigured black slime orc remained alone, juggling with dozens of gaping holes through its body.

"Well, you guys are quite tough," Asmodeus mumbled, rubbing his chin.

'They absorbed mana inside the lances.'

'But the kinetic force dealt damage.'

'Though they seem resistant to kinetic and physical damage.'

Almost instantly, he heard three additional lines of thought, thanks to his parallel thinking, analysing the magic, the slimes and the damage he dealt.

He curled his lips with a sense of delight.

Thanks to the three stooges in his mind, during previous fights, his main thoughts could focus on combat and enjoying every single part of it.

Whether fighting monsters, making his wives squeal or helping teach his children how to use their mana and magic, these three extra "Asmodeus's" granted him an edge beyond anything that existed in the world.

'Though Serena also recently gained this skill...'

Of course, they also gave him convenient abilities like: Instant cast magic, rapid cast divine arts, emergency advice or support. And of course, showing three images of disgusting old women, to stop him from shooting too quickly!

"Phew!"

Asmodeus shook his head and cleared the useless thoughts that came with his ability; the only downside was that he needed to discard or ignore the useless information. He watched the slimes slither, wobble and then reform.

'What's going on?'

Their number shrank again, with only three remaining.

"They seem more opaque and dense with each fusion... not to mention—?!"

Woosh!

A black slime spear pierced the spot where Asmodeus stood less than 0.1 seconds ago; his body flashed, teleporting several steps away.

His pupils shrank at the speed.

It was Rank Three, at least!

Fwoosh~

Immediately after, he pushed off the ground and took flight, his bloody red wings sprouting with a powerful surge of wind.

Beneath him, the other two slimes crossed blades, both aimed at his neck.

'Shit, these things are broken!'

With the flutter of his wings, Asmodeus quickly circled the air, his eyes focused on the three slimes that remained completely still the moment he took flight. "What's wrong with them?" He tilted his head while observing them.

Instantly, their heads snapped towards him.

"!!!"

Around their bodies, dozens of magic circles identical to his popped up one after the other, each creating the same elemental spears he'd used a moment before.

"This is bullshit!" He shouted in protest.

Vwooom!

Forced to manoeuvre and dodge the volley of lances, Asmodeus began to accept the suggestions and theories from his other minds.

'They can absorb Mana.'

'Magic is the collection of Mana given form, thus they can copy magic used against them!'

'Dodge!'

"!!!"

Asmodeus twisted his upper body to avoid a salvo of deformed spears, which almost tore through his throat. He flew higher and higher to take a moment to prepare himself, but facing this enemy meant only one thing.

When he reached his current state, like Vinea, who created a soul weapon, the Divine Demonic Sword Balmung.

Asmodeus also created a soul weapon.

"I really didn't want to reveal this early, but... the situation asks for it."

Blood Reaver, a weapon he gained early on as an adventurer, was a special axe that grew along with him, although he neglected and ignored it. This weapon eventually bound with his demonic nature and bloodline.

However, that was limiting; it caused the axe to become flawed.

Does a Demon God need to recover a small amount of health through his opponent's blood?

Can't a Demon God recover his body naturally in seconds, anyway?

Thus, Blood Reaver became useless.

Not just that, but the ability he gained upon completing the dungeon to save Thorim, his ability to summon abyssal arms that hovered above his back, using an axe, limited his movements and attack patterns.

Asmodeus dodged to the left and right while spears lanced towards him at the speed of sound, their velocity and power causing sonic booms.

'Do not reveal your Sovereign form.'

'I concur!'

'Give them hell!'

The voices rarely agreed, so two out of three was enough.

"Then, let's greet my partner's new form."

He closed his eyes, then, with a sharp breath, he thrust his hand into the void, tearing through the sky with a crackle of black lightning.

From the tear came a distorted scream.

Without caring, he reached around in the darkness until he felt a cold, smooth shaft.

"There you are."

The moment Asmodeus grasped his weapon, a sense of calm and peace spread through his body... at least for a moment. That peace felt so comfortable and blissful, yet the next second, a violent tremor raged through him.

He struggled to keep the weapon still, yanking it from the void.

"Stop resisting!"

Asmodeus's body flashed with bursts of energy, forced out from the sudden clashing forces that swarmed around inside him. However, he ignored the pain and focused on the weapon in his hand.

Bzzzt!

The broken sky trembled.

The once bright Arena suddenly turned to night, as lightning and storm clouds flooded the sky in seconds. And when he pulled, rumbling thunder echoed, along with a heavy rain that showered the desert below.

His weapon appeared from the hole.

A two-meter-long, sleek shaft of pure black, the colour so deep it appeared to reject all light. Attached was a divine blade of pure white. The shape resembled a long axe, but with a single blade, and the counterweight was a hammer.

A Halberd, with a huge blade.

Something no normal human could dream of wielding.

"Stop being unruly."

"You are my weapon, stop trying to fight against me!"

The weapon trembled with an audible clang as the blade and shaft vibrated rapidly.

"I said stop!"

Asmodeus grasped the halberd and slammed it down in the air.

BOOM!

A shockwave spread through the air, clearing most of the clouds, dust and sand in a massive storm shaped like an arc.

The weapon became docile in his hand, the blade and shaft stopped vibrating, and slowly, a long piece of cloth shaped as two long ribbons, one pure white, and the other jet black with a strange series of runes and patterns sewn along the surface.

"What're these for?" Asmodeus flicked the cloth ribbons away, but they continued to float back to his arm. He tried to escape them four times before finally just giving up and letting them wrap around his wrist.

Clang!

Suddenly, he heard the distant sound of chains rattling.

"Huh?"

He looked around, wondering where the sound came from, only to hear it again. But this time, he glanced at his wrist to find a black and white bracelet on it. Attached to the bracelets were two chains that fastened to the halberd's shaft.

'Hm?'

'Is this some kind of safety device?'

'The black chain is absorbing Abyssal and Death Energies from the host's core!'

'The white chain is enhancing the host's Divine Aura!'

When his inner voices stirred, the halberd awakened.

White letters lit up across the shaft.

Black letters covered the edge of the blade.

This time, he didn't need his inner voices to understand what these letters did; the chains absorbed and enhanced his three energies into the weapon. The letters explosively boosted the destructive power of the halberd and those energies.

But they also absorbed a small amount.

He didn't know why, but could tell that if he cut those black slimes with this weapon, it would devour their abyssal energy and feed it to him and the halberd as if both of them were living weapons that fed and grew off energy.

"So damn cool!"

Finally, he glanced back down, only to find the entire world seemed to have paused the moment he flew up to escape their deformed spears.

Asmodeus looked at his spear and then realised something else. When he flew in the air, he used his time domain to "slow the slimes and their spears slightly." But now, the entire Arena appeared to have come to a stop.

Even the annoying Announcers.

"It also seems to have boosted my domain powers passively."

He shook his head and glanced down at the black slimes while curling his lips into a distorted smile, his demonic fangs revealed as he twirled the halberd.

Asmodeus muttered the weapon's name.

"Axiom, huh? That's your name, The Axiom of Ruin."

Meanwhile, inside the crystal cavern, a small, grey-skinned dwarf stood watching the screen with a flicker of orange in his right eye.

"Ohoho~ so the boys' domain is time?"

Grundig's joyful grin grew larger as he glanced at his hand. "I wonder, who has the better control?"

He tapped the golden light that froze his beer solid.

And it shattered.

Instantly after, the dwarf's face distorted into an inhuman expression with lips curled from cheek to cheek, and an energy beyond a living person surged like a lake of lava before eruption.

"Kekekekeke!"
