Demi-human Girls Completion Manual-Chapter 917 - 32: Wisdom Vortex
At the exact same moment, in the Sixth Day suspended high above the dark void of the Fifth Day, the red-haired Angel Leader Michael, with three pairs of ethereal wings, swiftly broke through layer upon layer of dense ether and ascended. He soon landed before the massive Wisdom Vortex Gate, glancing around at the deathly silent vortex, as if in a wistful sigh of a long departure.
In the past, before Gabriel Angel was driven to madness by the pain of losing a child, many angels from other skies would come here, driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. They sought out information or conversed with this benevolent sage who resided in the Sixth Day. Even Michael Angel, so versed in war and forging, frequently found inspiration from Gabriel in both major and minor matters, breaking free from the shackles of his own thoughts to discover new paths.
The kindness and wisdom of Angel Leader Gabriel were well-known throughout the Holy Land. Even the elves from the distant Tree Continent heard of it. In past years, even the Elf Marquis traveled from afar to pay homage to Gabriel’s esteemed reputation...
Yet now, all of this has been shrouded by her madness and deathly silence, the once beautiful scenes no longer exist, making Michael sigh.
Michael hesitated for a moment, then pushed open the Wisdom Vortex’s door. The vast interior space was unlit, illuminated only by the radiant illusionary eye behind Gabriel. The entire vortex was dim and gloomy, much like the confines of her heart at this moment.
The cold of the cosmic void blew the ether enveloping the Sixth Day into the vortex, rustling a few scattered papers on the floor. The golden Gabriel script on them remained clearly legible. Unfortunately, ever since she went mad, no one tended to the vortex, leaving it in a rather chaotic state.
"Gabriel, I’m here."
Though fully aware there would be no response, Michael greeted her as he always did and looked at Gabriel, who lay in the center of the vortex cradling a crystal, and he spoke softly.
"There, there... sleep tight..."
As expected, Gabriel merely smiled at the crystal in her arms, mindlessly murmuring the words to soothe a child to sleep, showing no sign of responding to Michael.
Her child had lost its life in a dream, causing Gabriel’s memory to linger on the night before her child lost its life.
She recalled how that night, the little angel caused quite a fuss, refusing to sleep. She coaxed for a long while until the little one finally settled down...
Michael squinted and turned towards the bookshelves lined with angelic script, heading towards the shelf containing books about the Tree Continent. On the floor before the bookshelf lay two open books, as if something had been reading them just moments ago, but now it was nowhere to be seen.

The tall figure of Michael paused slightly at the shelf, with a gentle wave of his hand, all the books on the shelf floated out one by one, their pages turning automatically in the air. After a minute, he identified a few books that might contain information about the World Tree Tear and picked them up, while the others promptly returned to the bookshelf.
He picked one book up and began to read the contents once recorded by Gabriel Angel,
"The Beginning of the Tree Continent"
"In ancient times, at the world’s inception, Ramasitia Main God, with supreme authority, created three beloved children and bestowed upon them the inherent duty of defending against chaos. Reaching the pinnacle of living creatures, they brushed against the edges of authority, verging on being demigods. They were the most direct and effective representatives of the True Gods who could not interfere with the world..."
"Regrettably, over time, the three demigods gradually grew weary of this elusive mission. Their dissatisfaction with one another and with Ramasitia Main God deepened, transforming into tangible and far-reaching actions."
"Fermat Baha Dragon God frequently abandoned the Gap, neglecting his duties as its guardian; the World Tree, while seemingly adhering to the decrees left by the Main God and reproving the Dragon God’s lapses, secretly abandoned its own name, calling itself Jianmu, so much so that neither the elves nor the creatures of the Tree Continent knew its true name..."
"As descendants of the demigods, we have more or less inherited their emotions. As far as I know, many angels in the Holy Land are at odds with the elves, though hindered by the demigods’ unbroken silence, the world maintains a fragile balance."
Gabriel did not record details about Lord Heavenly Lock here, but Michael knew well that Lord Heavenly Lock fared no better, or else he wouldn’t have returned from beyond the domain to construct the Holy Land a thousand years ago.
Skipping past these records of Gabriel, which he himself knew well, Michael purposefully flipped through the pages, aiming for later content,
"As the elder sister, Lord World Tree possesses an item gifted by a True God, named the Weaver of Destiny. Even I have never seen the true form of that weaver, nor know its exact effects; over the centuries, it has been operated by the World Tree only once, resulting in a derivative infused with the World Tree and fate’s power, known as the World Tree Tear, bestowed upon the elves by the World Tree for offerings."
"Previously, I heard the Elf King mention that long gazes upon the World Tree Tear uncontrollably bring elves to tears. When asked, they surprisingly claimed to have seen vague scenes from before their own births."
