Chapter 816: Infected Alpha

Griffin held her through it, worked her through it, dragging every last second of it out until her body trembled uncontrollably in his arms.

Only then did his control slip. A feral sound ripped from Griffin’s chest as his grip turned bruising, his movements sloppy.

"Mine," he growled against her skin. And then he followed Violet over the edge. He shot his load inside of her. The hot and thick seed spilling out around them.

Violet honestly thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t.

With a sense of urgency, Griffin shifted, flipping her onto her back in one smooth motion. Violet knew at that moment, she was a goner.

The mattress dipped beneath her as her mate followed, one large hand gripping her thigh and lifting it over his shoulder. And the new angle — Goddess, help her.

It stole the air straight from her lungs.

"Mine. All mine." Griffin growled, completely animalistic as he drove into her deeper and harder.

Violet cried out, her back arching off the bed as the force of it hit a sweat spot that made her vision blur. Her hands flew to the sheets, clutching, grounding herself as Griffin set a brutal, unforgiving pace.

He didn’t hold back. Didn’t slow down.

Each thrust was precise, controlled, driving into that same spot again and again until her body had no choice but to respond.

"Griffin—!"

Her voice broke, her body shaking. The

pleasure was too much.

"That’s it," he growled, his grip tightening on her leg, keeping her exactly where he wanted her. "Take it."

He owned the moment. Owned her. Her body. Her soul. Every movement, every breath, every sound that tore from her lips belonged to him.

Violet could only feel as the pressure spiraled higher, tighter, until it snapped. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

She broke for the nth time. Her body arching, and every muscle tightening as the wave of pleasure crashed through her. The warmth of her release spilled down her thighs.

Griffin broke too. Her body clenched around him so tightly his hips bucked, a rough sound tearing from his chest as he followed right after her.

For a moment, everything stilled. Just the sound of their breathing. Her body twitched beneath him, still riding the waves, every nerve alive, and the sensation lingering long after the moment had passed.

Griffin lowered his head, pressing his forehead briefly against hers, his grip on her still firm, still possessive as if he wasn’t quite ready to let her go.

After a while, he pulled out, and Violet sighed at the loss of contact. For once, she was grateful to be Fae—no way in hell her human self would have survived this sexathon.

Violet groaned. Her body had turned to mush, and she was so satisfied all she wanted to do was sleep.

Roman’s chuckle followed, his breath fanning her cheek, suggesting he was close by. "Someone’s really satisfied, isn’t she?"

Violet purred, wishing he would go away.

Roman grinned, clearly amused. "You’re so, so cute," he murmured, brushing a damp strand of hair from her face. "However, little mate, you do not want to torture the others all night with the scent of sex. You need a shower."

Violet made a soft, incoherent sound, too tired to argue.

The next thing she knew, Roman carried her toward the washroom. Her head lolled against his shoulder, her body loose, her mind drifting in and out. She was practically asleep until the hot water hit her skin.

Violet sucked in a breath, her eyes fluttering open as warmth cascaded over her, washing away the evidence of their love making and exhaustion.

"Finally," Roman laughed when he saw her eyes open.

"Alright," he said, "stay still and let me do the work."

Violet didn’t argue. They could do whatever they wanted with her. She was too tired to form a single independent thought. What was so bad about a little baby treatment?

Roman reached for a loofah, working the scented soap into a rich lather before running it over her skin. He was so gentle with her that she didn’t even realize he was done until he was carrying her back to the room.

The room had been cleaned, and when Roman placed her on the bed, she sank into clean sheets. Violet didn’t have the strength to ask who had done it. She closed her eyes and slipped into deep sleep.

It must have been sometime later in the night when Violet felt the bed dip. She opened her eyes, only to meet slitted gray ones. Even half-asleep, a wide grin curved her lips.

"You..." Violet murmured.

"Yes, me, your one and only Asher." The West pack Alpha leaned closer until he was spooning her. He breathed in her scent.

Asher chuckled. "My nose is picking up all sorts of things on you. Whatever scented soap Roman used to erase it only made it worse. It’s all mixed with you now."

A small smile crossed Violet’s lips. She reached up and cupped his face, her thumb brushing his cheek. "Thank you."

Violet wasn’t stupid. She saw the sacrifices Asher kept making, over and over again.

Asher placed his hand over hers. "It’s nothing. Now sleep. You have a long day tomorrow."

Violet didn’t argue. She leaned into him, her eyes drifting closed as she settled comfortably in his arms.

While she slept, Asher watched her, taking in her features.

"For you, my purple queen," he whispered, "I’d give anything in the world."

He closed his eyes too. Peaceful.

Except nothing good lasted forever.

While they slept, none of them noticed the small, pulsing translucent caterpillar that had appeared out of nowhere. It crept over Asher’s hair, then slipped into his ear.

Asher jerked upright at once, a strange sensation crawling through him. His sudden movement startled Violet awake, her vision blurry with confusion.

"What is it?" she asked.

Asher was certain he had felt something.

But he shook his head, "It’s nothing. Let’s go back to sleep."

They lay down again. Content in his arms, Violet closed her eyes, and missed the brief purple glow that flickered in Asher’s eyes before he shut them.
