Deceiving Her Ears: Ignoring Your Call-Chapter 184: She Really Can’t Stand Him
Lucas Lowell didn’t expect Jordan Rivers to be so easily teased and looked at Natalie Kendall awkwardly.
"Did I say something wrong?"
"What do you think?" Natalie Kendall replied expressionlessly.

She found Jordan Rivers and Isaac Vaughn at the convenience store near the neighborhood entrance.
Jordan Rivers was holding a vanilla ice cream, eating it while looking sad.
Isaac Vaughn consoled him with a few words, patted his shoulder, and then looked up to see Natalie coming over.
"Little Ear."
But Natalie didn’t even glance at him; in a slightly cold voice, she addressed Jordan: "Jordan."
Jordan timidly said, "Sister."
"Do you think it’s right to run around like that?"
Jordan shook his head vigorously, "I’m sorry, sister."
"Let’s go."
Natalie reached out her hand to him.
Jordan looked at Isaac Vaughn beside him and whispered, "Brother-in-law."
Seeing this, Natalie withdrew her hand.
Startled, Jordan immediately pounced over and held onto her hand, "Sister!"
The ice cream in his hand smeared onto Natalie’s hand.
Natalie looked down at the ice cream smudged on the back of her hand, when suddenly a hand reached over.
Isaac Vaughn used his sleeve to clean it for her.
"What are you doing?"
Natalie, startled, immediately stepped back, her whole body on high alert.
What exactly is he trying to do?
Isaac Vaughn softly said, "If it’s clean, then it’s not dirty anymore."
Natalie’s patience completely ran out.
She really couldn’t handle him.
"Isaac Vaughn, we’re divorced, it doesn’t matter anymore. You can’t just touch me, and in the future, don’t come near me again."
"I can’t do that."
Isaac Vaughn replied without thinking.
This response almost made Natalie livid.
What do you mean you can’t do that?
Why can’t you do that?
Isaac Vaughn lowered his gaze, still in poor health, wearing a hospital gown, making him look especially frail.
He pursed his lips and looked up at Natalie, "Little Ear, I can’t stay away from you, I’d die."
What dying or not.
Did he think these sappy words would move anyone?
Her?
Natalie found him really absurd and ridiculous.
"Jordan, are you coming or not?"
She reached out her hand to Jordan once again.
This time, Jordan immediately took her hand.
Natalie held Jordan’s hand and left without looking back.

Lucas Lowell saw Natalie bring back Jordan.
Jordan’s palm was sticky with melted ice cream, so he went to wash his hands.
Lucas Lowell asked Natalie, "How did it go?"
Natalie retorted, "How did what go?"
Seeing her displeased expression, Lucas shrugged, "Fine, I won’t ask anymore."
Two minutes after Lucas left, he called her.
Natalie picked up, hearing him on the other end say, "What’s going on? Isaac Vaughn is still standing downstairs."
Natalie frowned, instinctively walking towards the window.
At this height, she couldn’t see clearly.
Lucas said, "He looks pale as a sheet, he won’t faint, will he?"
Natalie tightened her grip on the phone.
Lucas didn’t hear her respond, so he proactively suggested, "How about I take him back? I’ll go try, if it works I’ll tell you, if not, you call his family to come, I’m hanging up."
He hung up the call.
Lucas walked towards Isaac Vaughn.
Isaac Vaughn looked at him once and then looked away.
Lucas folded his arms, with a teasing tone, "Second Young Master Vaughn here using such a desperate measure? But it seems like Natalie doesn’t care."
He said this while waving his phone, "I just called her to tell her you’re still here, and she didn’t say anything."
Isaac Vaughn’s face darkened with anger, "Get lost."
"Tsk tsk." Lucas pursed his lips, his tone turning sour too, "You should stop. This tactic doesn’t work. I’ll take you back to the hospital."
He reached out to pull Isaac Vaughn, but Isaac pushed him away.
"Damn! You’re so stubborn!"
Upstairs.
Natalie pressed the elevator button.
