Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent-Chapter 231
Chapter 231: Chapter 231
After lunch, he wanted to meet up with the girls.
Before he went inside the dungeon to stay for days until completion, he informed them beforehand. Though he didn’t give complete details about it, he did say that it was for the Rank-up quest.
If he knew it could have been done in a day, he might not have mentioned but he didn’t know how long he would be inside. He estimated that it could take three days. So, he informed them that he won’t be available for those three days, to be safe and why he won’t be available. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
He avoided mentioning that it was for a Rank-4 quest, and the girls believed that it was a Rank-3 quest.
They were surprised to hear that, and even said that they thought that he was already Rank-3 at this point, which made Aaron chuckle, but he didn’t reveal that he was going for Rank-4.
He could see that the girls were trying to reach him as soon as possible, believing that he was very high above them. Erika was going through dungeons every day, using every free minute to bridge the gap between them, while Zara, though, couldn’t be on the same pace as them, was trying her best.
Aaron knew that with his extra boost in experience, he would always outpace them, even if they hunted monsters all day long.
They didn’t know about his boost, and so the thought of him reaching Rank-4 has never crossed their minds. It is to be expected. With so many levels and hundreds of thousands of EXP required, who would have thought that he was already at Rank-4?
No one and Aaron decided to keep that like that.
He didn’t want them to be too stressed about the fact that they were nowhere near him and couldn’t reach them. Breaking their spirits when they were so young and full of fighting spirit would be disastrous for their growth.
Though in this age and day, awakeners of higher rank live longer, many were killed early due to their lack of strength. This was because most would be arrogant or naive in their early years, not understanding how cruel the world is.
When they reach a certain age, they learn about the fact and understand it very well, and lose their hot-bloodedness. It also reduces their growth rate. Not even the genius of a generation would grow as fast as they did early in their lives.
Every move they make, they would think a thousand times before making it. So, the progress would be slow, but they would live long. They would think of a way out of any dangerous situation instead of barging in, unless there is no other way out for them.
This means they would not get every opportunity as they did when they were young, and the growth rate would be reduced.

Zara should be working, or at least that’s what she told him two days ago. So, he can’t meet up with her at the moment, but he messaged her that he had exited the dungeon the previous night. After that, he messaged Erika the same.
They both messaged him back, but only Erika was free to meet him at the point, while Zara was sitting in her chair in the Student Resource center.
Though the students has decreased, there are still first-year students. So, one would be present in the resource center, and has to take care of all the work. It was the same with other departments like the Mission Hall.
There was only one clerk who remained in the hall.
Of course, there would be rotations. A student has to work for half a day, before another would replaces that one for the second half of the day. That noon, it was Zara’s turn to be on duty.
Erika, on the other hand, was studying in the library, preparing for the upcoming journey. She wanted to know everything that was there regarding Darkshine City.
The more she can learn about the city and its surroundings, the better the chances for her to give her best.
Going to any place blindly is not a good thing. Even the best-prepared would face a lot of troubles. As it was an official assignment from the academy, she wanted to do her best during her deployment in Darkshine City.
Once she goes there, she won’t have much time to research about the city. So, she was learning as much as she could before they left.
Of course, she scrapped the research when she got the message that Aaron had exited the dungeon. She immediately left to see him.

There were only three days, including the day that was half spent. These three days, Aaron has decided to spend his time with the girls more.
The three days were declared as dungeon-free for him by himself. After these three days, it is unknown when he will be able to enjoy the girls again. So, he dedicated the next three days to them, and a small time to learn about his destination.
There was another reason why he decided to take a rest.
The city he will be going to is just a Tier-2 City. Even though there are many bad things happening, like kidnappings and killings, there is no way that a high-ranking awakener from the cults would come to such a small city to show their power.
Though they are evil, many are prideful and would think that stamping such a small city would be beneath them, but of course, they would send some minions to do the bidding for them.
He was already at level 500. So, he was sure that he can easily defeat those minions. Also, in these three days, he would not gain much as he has no intentions of entering an A-rank dungeon, or a Semi-A-rank dungeon.
Entering once has already taken a toll on his body. He doesn’t want to burden and injure his body, just before he would be deployed.
Though his body got rest from dungeons, that doesn’t mean it got any rest in bed. The girls took turns in enjoying time with him. When Zara goes to do her work, Erika would join Aaron, and when Zara returns, Erika would be either levelling up or reading something.
---
The ten days that were given to the students to prepare themselves, went by in a blink.
In the early morning on the eleventh day, all the combat or support professionals joined their assigned convoy that would take them to their destination.
The academy has provided the students with vehicles and drivers that would take them to the city or town where they would be staying for a while and do their duties.
