Chapter 133: Chapter 133

Headmaster Viren Ebonblade and Vice-Headmistress Lyanna Silstar were checking on the students that they selected to represent the academy in the upcoming Inter-academy tournament.

A lot was riding on this, and they can’t just leave everything to luck or these newbies and hope that everything goes well.

They wanted to make sure that the students were putting every bit of effort into this, as the name of the academy was on the line.

Dusk Academy is considered one of the top five. Even if they can’t make it to the top one, it would be fine as long as they remain in the top five, but falling below the fifth rank would be bad for them. That is something they can’t let happen.

So every action that the five members take is under scrutiny by the academy.

"Did he know what the item does, or did he think something else from the name?" Viren asked.

"That’s possible. After all, there were no descriptions given, just names of the resources. So he might be thinking that the item can improve a random attribute", Lyanna concluded.

"Ha, it most likely is. If he were a son of a powerful family, then he should have known about the item, but with his background, there was no way that he knew about it", Viren agreed with Lyanna.

"Hmm, I wonder what attribute he would unlock", Lyanna put his hand to her chin and started to think.

"It all depends on his luck", Viren said.

"Hmm".

"Now, let’s see what others chose", Viren diverted the topic to the other participants.

As the head of the academy, they can’t put all their eggs in one basket. Though for now, Aaron seems stronger than others, what happens later on, no one can say for sure.

---

While the top of the academy was discussing about the five members, those five had no idea about that, and were immersed in their training sessions at their own places.

Aaron also decided to immerse himself in either heavy training or levelling up routine in the remaining days before they had to leave for the tournament.

Knowledge seeking was put aside, as winning the tournament is very important. He learned from Zara that the Dusk Academy stood at Number 5 last year, well, for most years that was the case.

Even though that was the case, the rewards the students got from both the Alliance and the Academy would even make a Rank-5 envious.

Normally, these are kept secret as some envious ones might attack and steal those resources from the newbies who are weak at the moment.

The only reason Zara learned this piece of information was due to Reyna. She was the Captain of the team last year. Though Reyna didn’t divulge the rewards, she informed Zara that they are pretty good and the reason why Reyna was able to cross Rank-3 before the end of the first year.

She not only crossed Rank-3, she was levels above Rank-3 before the end of the first year. At the moment, Reyna stands at Rank-4, which she achieved a few weeks back. This was all due to the boost that she got from being the captain of the team that participated in this tournament the previous year.

This was just for someone who ranked fifth.

What if they come out on top?

What rewards would the Alliance and the Academy provide them?

No matter how one sees this, the rewards that they would get would be of very high, and they would be useful for him to reach Rank-5 as soon as possible.

He is almost at Rank-3. Though he was not sure that he could reach Rank-3 before the tournament, he was sure that within the next two months, that would be possible, even if he doesn’t dedicate much time to levelling up in the future.

So, Aaron was determined to get the first spot for the academy, so that he could gain access to more resources, which would make him powerful fast and that is the only way to keep himself and his family safe.

---

After selecting the resources, he returned to his house and started to train in the training hall. Before dark, he only stopped twice, once for his lunch and the other when the resources he selected were delivered.

As it became dark, he stopped training, took a bath before having dinner.

After dinner, Aaron sat down on his bed before he took out the resources that had been delivered to him before noon. He didn’t use them at that time, as he had things to do at that time.

Now that he was free, he decided to make use of them.

First, he decided to use the new skill that he got, Death Prison.

After that, he used the Random Attribute Keystone.

He felt the same sensation that he felt when he used the Keystone to unlock Perception. It means that Random Attribute Keystone has done its job and unlocked one of the attributes that were not visible before.

He quickly checked his status to see what attribute he unlocked.
