Death… And Me-Chapter 4202: We Will Start Now

In the Great Void, just outside the F974 Universe, the two parts of Soza’s body could be seen. Soza didn’t look to be in pain, though. Instead, he was fuming in anger. There were two reasons for his anger, not only one.

The first, obviously, was how he was taken by surprise by Roan’s weird skill that managed to pull Rean from his battle out of nowhere. That caused his own Crystal Void Half Moon Blade to be broken by Roan’s Scythe, effectively cutting him down.

Rean was right about one thing. Soza had the means to save himself if Roan truly tried to kill him at that moment. Yet, that’s exactly the thing that makes Soza the angriest. When Roan came to finish the job, Soza noticed that Roan wasn’t truly coming for the kill. How old is Soza? How much experience does he have?

The idea of having Roan, someone with a lower cultivation than himself, to actually purposely spare his life was unbearable! Even worse, he could tell why. That was definitely because of his connection with Soul Gem and his daughter. "Fuck!"

He controlled his energy and connected the two sides of his body again with ease. He is outside F974, so he obviously had full access to his entire cultivation. Roan’s Dark Element and Celestial Laws were wiped out in an instant. Another pill was swallowed, and the injuries closed a moment later.

Of course, he knew that his anger didn’t matter at the moment. What mattered was that he also knew the Twelve Primordial Demon Beasts were in F974. And now, he was out of it, and he doesn’t have another Celestial Suppressor Plate to enter the Universe. Never in his mind did he truly believe Roan or anyone else from the twins’ group could truly defeat him.

Soza then took out his CD, contacting his subordinates. "Where are the rest?! Why hasn’t anyone arrived yet?!"

A nervous voice came from outside. -Se... Senior Soza, we are almost there. The Great Void Spaceships should arrive in the next three hours. We are bringing thousands of Peak Stage Divinities, way more than the entire concentration of Divinities in F974."

"We don’t have hours, idiot! Tell me where they are now. I’ll go take them into my Pocket Dimensional Realm and bring them to F974 on my own! That shouldn’t take more than a few minutes!" Soza received the location right after, opened a Spatial Gate, and disappeared.

Back inside F974, Rean and Roan were in front of a many-layered formation, which was connected to the stored energy of the natural formation below the Mountain Range.

Rean looked at the formation ahead, feeling quite impressed. It wasn’t a legendary Level Formation, so he could understand it entirely if he were given enough time. Nonetheless, that would take quite a while, as the work there was truly intricate. "Ratria, it was not you guys who built this, right?"

Ratria-Ket was still finishing the last steps when she heard it. "Indeed. Soul Gem prepared it ahead of time. We just had to retrieve it once we managed to replace the Universe Owner. I’m not too sure how to operate it, though."

Behind them, the Abyssal Path was open, and one could see Default and the other Primordial Demon beasts behind. Default only had to take a look, and he smiled. "Don’t worry, I know how to use it. I’ll explain to you now what you have to do, so pay attention."

He sent his Divine Sense outside with all the instructions. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

That formation was going to use the stored energy of the natural formation to open the channel, although it would be far from enough for them to traverse. Default also had one of those tiny animals frozen in time with him, which he would kill to tell Soul Gem that they were ready.

Once Soul Gem and Hyeoumu saw that, they would also activate the formation that Soul Gem had worked on for a very long time in Lisan. That was a formation Soul Gem placed in secret after he separated from the Control Orb. Then, once it started, a connection would be established.

One might be wondering: How can a connection be established through the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble? That thing could block pretty much anything coming from the inside, couldn’t it?

The answer to that was in both the Lisan Universe and the Werdlem Empire. There was one thing that could absolutely ignore the existence of the Bubble, The Echo!

Now, what were the items created by researching The Echo way before the Primordial Demon Beasts came to the Werdlem Empire? Yes, the Werdlem Treasures! The same ones used in the war against Garisan Universe! They were made through the research of The Echo, but couldn’t be used close to it.

They were that powerful, as they tapped just slightly into The Echo’s power when they were far away from the space tear in the Werdlem Empire. They were the Werdlem Dark Manipulator, Werdlem Light Manipulator, Werdlem Hexahedron, and such...

That’s why Default said he got some of the Werdlem Treasures that were spread all over the Great Void in Lisan. There were more of those, but for this task, the ones present in Lisan would be more than enough. Their connection with The Echo inside the Werdlem Universe was all that they needed.

"Alright," Roan understood, but had his doubts. "But you said this channel, or connection, would be far from enough, didn’t you?"

Default nodded. "That’s why we needed Lisan’s Universe Owner. Or, to be more specific, both owners. The plan was for a single owner at first, after all. It matters not, though. You saw the Universe Owners before, didn’t you? You saw how they were able to control the power of their Universes to aid themselves. Coddin is doing it right now just outside as he fights Rafina with Kentucky’s help."

"That’s what you will do. This connection/channel will allow you to feel your Lisan Universe. What I want you to do is to draw its power to enlarge the channel so it can be big and stable enough for us to pass through. Then, it will be up to us, the Primordial Demon Beasts, to use our innate abilities to make sure the channel is kept stable with your help. I wasn’t kidding when I said all of us were necessary for this to work."

"So that’s how it is..." Rean and Roan got it. "Alright. When can we start?"

"It has already started," said Default.

*Zush!*

Then, a dead animal appeared in his hand. He already killed it, which made its Soul Flame extinguish all the way in the Lisan Universe.

Back in the Lisan Universe, Soul Gem looked around him. There, he could see two experts the twins would definitely recognize: Dalquiel, the Archangel Semi-Celestial and Black Lotus, the Elder Devil Semi-Celestial. "Thanks for coming. We will start now."
