Yang Qing completing various incomplete arts, restoring a few scrolls, sharing his research findings, translating various works, handing out some of his lucky finds to the Order, and his duties as a judge, all earned him merit points because it all added to the strengths of the Order in some shape of form.

So to earn a lot of merit points meant you made great contributions to the Order, and following that logic, if you used your merit points to buy a post, why wouldn’t it be possible? Merit points could be loosely translated to your value and the more merit points you earned the more value you had and added to the Order and by relation, it stood to reason you should be able to have valuable spots within the Order if your value points was sufficient.
