Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 348: All Marital Assets Between Him and Me
Victoria Don reluctantly stayed behind, ordered around by the secretary-general to tidy up the files on the floor.
Helen walked out of the printing room with a triumphant smile, sending the video of Victoria Don being ordered around by the secretary-general to Elly.
At that moment, Elly was signing a contract with Cole Hawke. When she received the video sent by Helen, she watched it and then smirked slightly, placing her phone in front of Cole Hawke.
"Who gave the order that the secretary-general dares to boss around Victoria Don like this?"
Cole Hawke watched the video and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Besides me, who else could it be? Expecting it from your secret crush, you’d be disappointed."
Elly thought about it and knew it was him.
She straightened up, "Senior, you have wide connections, help me find someone who can cure Gu, won’t you?"
Dealing with Victoria Don is just child’s play; the most important thing now is to lift the curse on Damon Hawke.
"Why should I help you? Seeing the two of you in a bad relationship makes me too happy to help."
Cole Hawke took a sip of water and deliberately said.
Elly glanced at him speechlessly, knowing he was joking, and said indifferently, "Fine, you won’t help me, I’ll find someone else."
"Who are you going to ask for help? Do you want to make it public knowledge? Want everyone to know Damon Hawke is cursed?" Cole Hawke asked.
"Aren’t you unwilling to help me?" Elly pouted.
Cole Hawke sneered at her and changed his leg-crossing position, "Call me a good-sounding name and let me hear it."
Elly: "..."
Why do some people seem to get more improper after having a girlfriend?
"Second Brother, you see, I’ve got goosebumps."
Elly cleared her throat, and rolled up her sleeves twice.
"Ha? What did you call me? Second Brother?"
Cole Hawke pointed to his nose, glaring at Elly.
"You’re Tom’s cousin, Charlie and Bea’s uncle, shouldn’t I call you Second Brother?"
Elly held back a laugh and said.
Cole Hawke glared at her speechlessly, "What a crappy title, sounds like I’m Pigsy."
Elly chuckled lightly, not saying anything.
Cole Hawke straightened up and said, "Finding someone to lift the curse from Damon is not impossible. Vexia has a famous pharmaceutical company, and coincidentally, the medical project we are undertaking needs to purchase raw materials from Vexia; we can inquire about it."
Upon hearing this, Elly’s eyes lit up.
"Sure, I’ll ask around."
She won’t let any chance slip by.
"Are you going to Vexia yourself, Elly?"
Cole Hawke frowned, "Vexia’s geographical position is treacherous, a place with simple local customs. You just took over the Grant Family; better not take the risk, I can send someone instead."
"No, this medical project is my first major business after taking over the Grant Family, both publicly and privately; I want to visit Vexia personally."
Elly insisted.
"Then I’ll go with you," Cole Hawke said.
"No need, things are unstable at Hawke Corporation right now, plus Victoria Don is causing trouble; you should stay home." Elly thought for a moment and said.
Cole Hawke raised his eyebrow and asked, "What do you plan to do about Victoria Don? Just let her stay with Damon?"
"There’s no rush, once we find someone to lift the curse off Tom, she won’t be a threat anymore." Elly uttered a sentence.
Of course, she doesn’t want Victoria Don to stay by Damon Hawke’s side.
But for now, she can’t remove Victoria Don.
Better safe than sorry.
No one knows what connection Damon Hawke’s curse has with Victoria Don.
What if removing Victoria Don affects Damon?
"Alright, it’s your decision. I’m leaving then."
Cole Hawke picked up the cooperation project papers and prepared to leave.
"Wait a moment."
Elly thought of something and felt a bit troubled, "Can you help me find a teacher? I want to systematically learn about management."
She doesn’t want to be an useless vase, only signing documents.
She needs to constantly learn.
But without a teacher, she can’t teach herself.
"You need a teacher? Sure, the teacher is as close as before your eyes."
Cole Hawke straightened his back and said.
Elly knew he was joking, "Don’t fool around, Second Brother, keep it in mind."
"Don’t call me Second Brother, call me Senior, or else I won’t find a teacher for you."
Cole Hawke replied.
"Fine, whatever you say."
"Treat me to a meal."
"Okay, I’ll treat you to a meal, and also invite Helen."
"You’re treating me to a meal, why bring her along?"
"Because I like it."
"..."
High-end apartment.
Eleanor Shaw opened the door with a dejected expression.
A teacup flew right at her, hitting her shoulder with a bang, causing her to scream in pain.
Looking up, she saw Evelyn Miles tinkering with the items in the room, hair disheveled.
The servant beside couldn’t hold her and was pushed to the ground.
She looked at Eleanor Shaw with a bitter expression.
Eleanor Shaw was already in an extremely terrible mood, and seeing her daughter’s state only made her more annoyed.
"Samantha, can you act normal!? Do you really want to be sent to a mental hospital and let everyone know that the once-famous dancer Evelyn Miles is actually a mental patient?"
Eleanor Shaw shouted loudly.
Samantha’s actions paused, she turned to look at her, her eyes flickering with madness.
"Is there still anyone who doesn’t know I am mentally ill? My whole life was ruined by you and Gabriel! Can’t I vent a little?"
Samantha continued to destroy the items in the house until there was nothing left to destroy.
Eleanor Shaw’s heart contracted seeing the mess on the floor, futilely clutching her chest.
Is this karma?
She can’t stand another day of this.
"Open the door."
Knocking echoed, someone was banging on the door.
Eleanor Shaw was startled and hastily walked to the door, looking out the peephole.
Standing outside were several men that looked like bodyguards and one of them was Iris Nash.
Why is she here?
Eleanor Shaw frowned, tidied her clothes, and opened the door.
"Sister-in-law, why are you here?"
Iris Nash glanced at her, pushed her aside, and entered the room.
Looking at the destruction inside and the shaggy-haired Evelyn Miles, she sneered coldly.
"Eleanor Shaw, you and your daughter really know how to mess up my house."
Her house!
Eleanor Shaw frowned even tighter.
Seeing Iris Nash’s malicious intent, she asked, "Your house? Sister-in-law, what do you mean?"
"Don’t call me sister-in-law; it disgusts me."
Iris Nash looked at Eleanor Shaw with revulsion, "I said this is my house; what, are you not convinced? You shamelessly hooked up with my husband, coaxing him into buying you a house, buying this and that. Let me tell you, anything Gabriel bought for you is jointly owned assets during our marriage; I have the right to reclaim them. So, now, please get out immediately with your daughter!"
