Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 337: The Person Daddy Loves Most Is Clearly You
The two little ones exchanged a glance and ran towards Elara Don.
"Mommy, who is he?"
Dominic Hawke looked at Damon Hawke, his face full of vigilance.
"You silly kids, don’t you even recognize your own father?"
Elara Don suppressed the turmoil in her heart and smiled slightly.
"Is he really our dad? Isn’t he just another impostor?"
Dominic Hawke’s little face remained cool and stern.
"Yeah, our dad would never say nonsense like that, claiming a wicked woman is the one he loves most! Clearly, the woman he loves most is you."
Bea chimed in seriously.
Damon Hawke stared at the two little beans, raising his eyebrows.
Their resemblance to himself was undeniable, they should be his sons.
Their protective stance towards their mother was quite amusing.
But, was Elara Don the woman he loved most?
That couldn’t be right!
She was the one he hated the most!
"You two kids, I know you want to protect your mother, but your father is an adult, he knows who he loves most deep in his heart."
Victoria Don said, linking her arm with Damon Hawke’s, feeling smug inside.
The two little ones glared at her, their faces set coolly.
Elara Don hugged them both, "Babies, go upstairs for now. Daddy is just temporarily blinded, but we need to trust him. With his intelligence, he’ll figure out the whole situation soon and realize who he truly loves."
Her words were half flattery, half reminder.
If Damon Hawke’s intelligence was intact, he’d surely understand that the one he truly loved was Elara Don, not Victoria.
Is that what she meant?
Damon Hawke gazed intently at Elara Don as she sent the two little ones upstairs, something flickering in his dark eyes.
Victoria Don watched Damon’s expression, sneering inwardly.
It was useless.
Did Elara Don and the Hawthorne think that provoking a few words would make Damon give her up?
Impossible!
She would continue to have Damon wrapped around her finger, making herself the dazzling star everyone noticed.
She’d regain everything she lost.
Upstairs.
The two little ones closed the door to the nursery. Dominic Hawke looked at Elara Don and asked, "Mommy, what happened to daddy? Why does he seem to remember nothing and even bring back a bad woman?"
"Yes, Mommy, I’m starting to suspect this is another fake daddy."
Bea nodded, his face full of confusion.
Elara Don patted the little ones’ heads, "Something must have happened to your dad, and that wicked woman did something to him. But it doesn’t matter, as long as he’s back safe, that’s a blessing in disguise."
It’s good he’s back!
Even if now his feelings for her are only of disgust, it doesn’t matter.
If he loved her before, then now he can fall in love with her again.
She’s just that confident!
But first, she needed to find out why Damon Hawke became like this. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Elara Don suppressed the turmoil within her, building up her resolve psychologically.
Her pretty face was full of determination.
"Alright, you guys do your homework first, and I’ll call you down for dinner later."
Elara Don smiled at the two little ones and then left the nursery.
The two little ones exchanged a glance, seeing something in each other’s eyes.
"Brother."
"Brother."
"You go first."
They spoke simultaneously, then simultaneously opened their mouths to speak again.
This synchronized speaking made both little ones burst into laughter.
"I’ll go first, brother. If that bad woman stays tonight, we must teach her a lesson."
Bea spoke first.
Dominic Hawke nodded, "Brother, I thought the same. We can’t just stand by and let the bad woman ruin Daddy and Mommy’s relationship."
"Hmm, brother, how about this..."
Bea’s big eyes twinkled as she whispered into Dominic Hawke’s ear.
Downstairs.
Victoria Don actually wanted to persuade Damon to leave.
But the Hawthorne kept her and Damon apart, making her grit her teeth in frustration.
Fine, she’ll stay.
After all, Damon only listens to her, no matter how much the Hawthorne tries to interfere, it’s futile.
Thinking of this, Victoria Don couldn’t be bothered with the Hawthorne anymore, leisurely scrolling through the news on the couch.
Recent news was all about the Miles Corporation.
Although she was surprised, she didn’t react much.
After all, she had once been part of the entertainment circle, having heard and seen many secrets of wealthy families.
She suddenly began to doubt the days when she ruled the entertainment world.
Once things settled, should she let Damon help her make a comeback in the entertainment industry?
The phone rang suddenly.
Victoria Don looked at it and quickly glanced around, then halted the ringtone.
It was Henry Harris calling.
She didn’t want anyone else to see.
This old git, still pining for her.
Victoria Don opened the chat record and sent Henry Harris a message.
"Uncle, I’m at the Hawthorne’s now, wait for me to infiltrate and be your insider."
For now, she had to keep this old git under her control.
But one day, when she had secured her position, she planned to use Damon’s power to get rid of him!
To stop him from pining for her.
Upstairs in the study.
Elder Hawthorne sat with Vinny Hawke and Andrew King, their eyes all on Damon Hawke.
Damon Hawke frowned, feeling a bit uneasy.
"Why did you call me up here, what’s going on?"
"Tom, do you really not remember anything?"
Vinny Hawke asked Damon Hawke.
Damon Hawke stayed silent for a moment, "Regarding you, I indeed have no memory."
"Then what do you remember?" Andrew King asked.
"I only remember that Victoria Don is the woman I love most, and Elara Don is the woman I hate the most."
Damon Hawke replied truthfully.
The Hawthorne exchanged glances, a look of exasperation in their eyes.
"Tom, you’re wrong. It’s the opposite. Elara Don is the woman you love the most, and Victoria Don is the woman you hate the most," Vinny Hawke said.
Damon Hawke said nothing, his handsome face betraying no expression.
"Tom, I am your mother, don’t you trust me?"
Vinny Hawke became anxious upon seeing Damon unresponsive.
Damon Hawke glanced at her, "Sorry, I have no memories, so I follow my heart. Of course, you can talk about past events, and maybe I’ll remember something."
He follows his heart?
So his current heart opposes his original heart?
Vinny Hawke looked at Damon Hawke, her eyes filled with urgency.
Just as she was about to speak further, Andrew King gently tugged at her, shaking his head.
"Tom is right, we might as well talk to him about the past, it might trigger some memories."
He definitely has a problem.
We need to have a professional doctor look at him to know better.
"Yes, Vinny, you’re his mother, you’ve watched him grow up, quickly share memories from the past with him."
Elder Hawthorne seconded, then looked at Andrew King.
"Kyle, get in touch with the relevant doctors, tomorrow we’ll take Tom for a comprehensive examination."
"Alright."
Andrew King nodded, stood up, walked out of the study, and made calls to the top authoritative doctors of the Hawke Group.
Ensuring they would all be on standby at the hospital the next day.
