Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 310: Not Found
Elara Don returned to the old house with the two little ones, brought back by Benjamin Harper.
The servant informed her that Elder Hawthorne was ill and was in the hospital.
Elara pondered for a moment, then decided to leave the children at home and head to the hospital.
Just then, the Hawke Family elders returned.
"Grandpa, Grandma."
The two little ones saw the Hawke Family elders and called out in unison.
"Charlie, Bea, good children."
Madam Hawke patted the little ones’ heads, hesitating to speak further.
Their form of address was wrong.
They shouldn’t have called them Grandpa and Grandma.
"Charlie, Bea, call them Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother."
Elara noticed Madam Hawke’s dilemma and spoke up.
The two little ones exchanged a glance, asked no questions, and obediently complied.
Elder Hawthorne nodded, looking at Elara Don, "Elly, it seems you know the truth."
"Yes, I found out a bit earlier than everyone else. I thought Tom’s true parentage would remain a secret forever, but... "
Elara pressed her lips and stopped speaking.
Elder Hawthorne glanced at her, a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
"You’ve known for a while? Who told you?"
Elara paused, then didn’t hide it, "It was Cole Hawke who told me."
"Him? How did he know?" Elder Hawthorne was shocked.
"Old Master, this isn’t the time to dig into that, I can’t reach Miss Hawthorne, where did she go?"
Elara was eager to find out about Damon Hawke’s whereabouts.
Unsure if Vinny had found him.
"She and Kyle were summoned because of what happened back then." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Elder Hawthorne clutched his chest as Madam Hawke helped him sit on the sofa, "I never thought the secret I’ve helped keep for over twenty years would eventually be exposed."
Madam Hawke sighed, handing him a glass of water, "Don’t get worked up, old man. No one knows the full story from back then, outsiders are just guessing, Vinny and Kyle will be fine. I’m more worried about Tom now, who knows how he’s doing."
Upon hearing this, Elder Hawthorne felt a pang in his chest again.
Events were unfolding one after another, faster than he could handle.
Someone was deliberately orchestrating this from the shadows.
"Master, Madam, Miss has returned."
A servant reported, and everyone turned towards the door.
Vinny Hawke and Andrew King walked in one after another.
Both their faces looked grim.
Elara Don hurried over, "Miss Hawthorne, where’s Tom? Did you not find him?"
Vinny glanced at her, shook her head, her eyes slightly red.
"His car went over a cliff, the rescue team only found the driver, Rhun Quinn, and Tom is missing."
Damon Hawke is missing!
Elara’s face turned pale.
On her way back, when she found out that Damon’s phone’s tracking system showed no signal, she had a bad feeling.
But she still held onto a glimmer of hope.
Hope that he had been rescued by Vinny’s people.
Perhaps he was already receiving treatment at a hospital.
But didn’t expect...
Elara’s eyes also turned red as she said, "His phone had a tracking system, the last signal point was in Westerlyn, quickly send people there to find him."
Hearing this, Elder Hawthorne turned to Andrew, "Kyle, did you hear Elly? Quickly send more people to search."
"I’ve already increased efforts to search for him," Andrew immediately replied.
Elara Don didn’t recognize Andrew, but seeing him supporting Vinny, she roughly guessed his identity.
Damon and he had a few similarities.
He should be Damon Hawke’s biological father.
"Elly, this is Tom’s biological father, Andrew King. Kyle, this is the woman Tom likes, Elara Don."
Once Elder Hawthorne’s emotions cooled a bit, he introduced them.
"Hello, Mr. King."
Elara greeted him politely.
Andrew nodded, his gaze falling on the two little ones.
The two little ones were sitting beside Madam Hawke, ears perked up listening to the adults’ conversation.
Andrew, supporting a red-eyed Vinny, sat on the sofa and beckoned the two little ones over.
"Charlie, Bea, come to Grandpa, let Grandpa take a good look at you."
These were his biological grandchildren, he could finally openly be with them.
The two little ones exchanged a glance and slipped off the sofa to Andrew’s side.
Andrew lovingly patted their heads, "I’m sorry, Grandpa appeared too abruptly, did I scare you?"
The two little ones shook their heads, Bea was the first to speak, "Hello, Grandpa."
Next to her, Dominic also greeted, "Hello, Grandpa."
"Good kids."
Andrew was very moved and kept nodding.
Sitting beside him, Vinny burst into tears.
She wanted to speak but couldn’t find the words.
Andrew pulled her close, looking at the two little ones, "Charlie, Bea, can you comfort your Grandma, tell her to stop crying."
The brothers exchanged another glance and leaned towards Vinny.
"Grandma, don’t cry, if you keep crying, you won’t be elegant."
"Brother, I can’t call her Grandma, she doesn’t look like a Grandma, she’s too young."
"I think so too, maybe we should call her Auntie instead."
"..."
The two little ones, with their playful banter, cheered Vinny up.
Vinny laughed through her tears and then hugged the two little cherubs tightly.
"You two little sweet talkers, your words are so sweet!"
"Auntie, we’re telling the truth."
"Oh, nonsense, still calling me Auntie?"
"Alright then, we’ll call you Pretty Grandma from now on."
"Drop the ’pretty’ part."
"..."
Watching as the two little ones slowly calmed Vinny, Elara’s nostrils flared with a near tearful pang.
She quickly looked up at the ceiling, preventing her tears from falling.
This loving scene was just missing one person’s presence.
Tom, where are you?
...
The Miles family.
Hunter Miles stared at the test report in his hand, his fingertips trembling.
It was the genetic report between him and Samantha Miles.
She wasn’t his biological daughter.
The daughter he’d raised for over twenty years wasn’t his own!
Looking at the blood relation ratio in the report, he laughed.
He and Samantha were not strangers.
They still had a blood relation.
Which meant Samantha and he were still relatives!
Ridiculous!
Truly ridiculous!
The woman beside him, deceiving him for years, had been involved with people from the Miles family behind his back, giving him such a big betrayal!
"Madam, Miss, you’re back."
The servant’s call rang in his ears.
Hunter Miles closed his eyes and walked out of his study.
In the living room, Eleanor Shaw was supporting a numb Samantha Miles up the stairs.
Her face looked wan.
Because Samantha was ill.
She had just returned from taking her to see a psychologist.
"Henry, you’re home?"
Eleanor saw Hunter staring directly at her, acknowledged him, then continued to support Samantha into the room.
Once she settled Samantha in, she tiptoed out of the room and closed the door.
Hunter Miles was standing in the hallway, and Eleanor glanced at him, feeling somewhat irritated.
"Henry, do you want to talk about something?"
