Mrs. Lockwood stepped in front of Selena Taylor, glaring disgustedly at Leia Quinn held by the servants.

Selena whimpered, covering her face, hiding behind Mrs. Lockwood, eyes full of shock.

Leia Quinn panted, took a deep breath, and said, "Mrs. Lockwood, the crazy one isn’t me but the eldest Landers daughter-in-law behind you. You’ve failed as a mother, not knowing your youngest son dated Selena Taylor? Today’s predicament is all due to this woman’s scheming."

These words left Mrs. Lockwood stunned in place, her expression of disbelief.

She turned to face Selena, "Selena, is what she said true? Did you date Wayne? Was she cheating because you set her up?"

Selena covered her burning face, gradually calming her emotions.

"Mom, how could you believe her words? She’s just aware of being kicked out of the Landers family, attempting to divide the affection within us Landers. True, I indeed dated Wayne, but we broke up long ago. Now we’re simply sisters-in-law and younger brothers-in-law."
