Creating A Succubus Army In A Fantasy World!-Chapter 85: Mini Vacation! [Bonus]
Chapter 85: Mini Vacation! [Bonus]
[Part 4/10 Of the Castle Mass Release! Shout out to Darkone33!]
Creed leaned back against the sturdy street chair, stretching his legs as he pulled up his balance on his smartphone screen.
The moment the glowing numbers flashed before his eyes, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
3,521,000 credits.
It was a satisfying number. It was more money than he had ever held at one time in this new life.
But even as he stared at the balance, he knew it wasn’t enough.
It was a lot, sure, but in this world where strength dictated everything, this amount was barely enough to get by, let alone establish himself as a real powerhouse.
If he wanted to truly climb to the top, this was not even pocket change!
Still, for now, it was more than enough.
With this money, he could cover his immediate needs; get better gear, training resources, and most importantly, the upcoming Ambassadors Academy entrance exam.
His eyes gleamed as he swiftly navigated to the academy’s official site, pulling up the admission requirements.
His gaze flickered across the list, his smirk widening with every absurd condition that popped up.
.....
Ambassadors Academy Entrance Requirements:
At least C-rank talent.
At least Bronze-level Awakening.
At least one Stage 1 Source.
50,000 credits registration fee.
20,000 credits transportation fee to the private bastion where the exam is held.
Tier 2 Citizenship.
Top 10,000,000 ranking in Zenith Tower.
.....
Creed leaned back in his chair and whistled lowly. That was insane.
No, actually, this was pure madness!
Even with his newfound strength, he could tell that most people would struggle for months to qualify.
Normally, a new awakened without sponsors would need to clear countless rifts, hunt dangerous beasts, and work tirelessly to scrape together the money and resources necessary.
If he didn’t have the windfall from that unexplored rift, even he would have been in deep trouble!
But as he ran through the list again, mentally checking off each requirement, a slow smirk stretched across his lips.
C-rank Talent? Passed. He had SSS! The Absolute best!
Bronze level Awakened? Passed. He was already even halfway to Stage 2 Bronze level and there was still a month left!
One Stage 1 Source? Passed. Heck, he already had 2 sources and 2 intents of at least stage 1!
Registration Fee? Pocket change. He was a freaking millionaire!
Transportation Fee? Not even worth worrying about. He could use that amount to buy steak for his summons if only they could eat it!
But...
Then came the Tier 2 Citizenship requirement. Creed was still a Tier 1 Citizen, the lowest of the low.
He quickly searched the process for an upgrade, expecting to see some absurd merit-point requirement, but instead, he found a simple price tag: 200,000 credits.
Creed blinked.
That was it?
He had been expecting something ridiculous, like a military contribution requirement or a noble recommendation, but all it took was a measly 200k?
A laugh escaped his lips. "Well, that’s easy."
Without hesitation, he pressed the purchase button, and just like that, the process of upgrading his Citizenship status from Tier 1 to Tier 2 was already underway.
Now, there was only one last condition left; the Zenith Tower ranking.
Zenith was the ultimate ranking system.
They were a global powerhouse that controlled the world’s information network, from intelligence on Awakened individuals to historical battle records to even information on the Dimensional beast kings.
They were the creators of the Zenith Ranking, which categorized warriors based on their level; Bronze, Silver, Gold, and beyond.
To qualify for Ambassadors Academy, he needed to be in the top 10,000,000 for all Bronze-level Awakened.
10 million sounded like a lot... until you remembered that Earth now had over 10 billion people.
And that number was constantly shifting due to explorations, beast tides, and the merciless struggle for survival.
Creed’s smirk widened. "Too easy."
Compared to the hell he had gone through in that rift, this was nothing.
Even he wasn’t entirely sure how strong he was now after comprehending the Path of Killing, but one thing was clear; he wasn’t the same person who entered that rift.
He cracked his knuckles.
Time to test his strength.
But before that... he needed answers.
With a flick of his wrist, he searched for the definition of a Path.
The results loaded instantly, and the first few lines made his eyes widen in shock.
Creed leaned back on the street bench, eyes glued to the glowing screen of his wristband, scrolling through the official Zenith article about Paths.
The more he read, the more his mind buzzed with excitement and disbelief.
A Path was not just some basic power-up or technique—it was the ultimate form of understanding a Law.
While most Awakened spent their entire lives struggling to grasp mere Intents and Sources, those who walked a Path were directly connected to the very essence of their Law.
They didn’t need to fumble around with complex formulas or rely on external forces to guide them.
Their Path was their shortcut, their personal road to mastery. It was simply a link to a law!
The article explained that deepening one’s comprehension of a Path would eventually allow them to create their own Arts, and that was when Creed’s entire world tilted.
He quickly searched for the definition of an Art and his jaw nearly dropped.
An Art was the highest representation of one’s Path, a unique set of moves or techniques that contained their very will and understanding.
These were not just flashy abilities, they were manifestations of a person’s very soul, shaped into attacks, defenses, or other combat or utility abilities.
Curious, Creed tapped on a video link, showing a comparison between Arts and Techniques.
The moment the video played, he felt like he had been living under a rock his entire life.
The first clip showed a Stage 3 Awakened using a Sublime Stage 3 technique. It was fast, powerful, and deadly.
The effect was absolutely impressive and it was a technique that had clearly been honed for months, devastating in its execution.
Then the second clip played and it was a basic Art from the same Stage 3 Awakened.
The difference was night and day.
Rumble!
The moment the Art was activated, the Awakened’s entire presence changed.
The air around them seemed to bend, responding to their will, and when they moved, it was like reality itself acknowledged them.
The attack landed, and the enemy didn’t just get hit, they were destroyed!
Creed felt a chill creep up his spine.
A basic Art was already stronger than a perfected sublime technique of the same level. And if a basic Art was this strong, what about an Advanced Art? Or a Peak Art?
Arts were split into Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Peak and Embodiment. This meant that the Art the awakened used was at it’s weakest level and still had an insane growth potential!
He clenched his fist, eyes burning. He needed to start comprehending his Path right now!
And the best part? He had the perfect tool to do it.
His Primordial Essence!
Creed exhaled slowly, his mind racing.
If Paths were normally something that took months and years to understand and master, then his Primordial Essence would be the perfect cheat code. It could quicken the process drastically.
He grinned. This was perfect!
Then, another thought hit him.
The Fragments of Killing.
Those little red glowing stones he had gathered in the rift... they were filled with pure killing intent, and now that he had walked onto the Path of Killing, he was certain that absorbing them would probably give him an insane boost.
He made a mental note to absorb one later and see what kind of effects it would have.
But before that, there was something far more important he needed to do.
Something he had been avoiding for too long. Creed took a deep breath and stood up. It was time to face his summons.
For too long, he had kept them at arm’s length, convincing himself that it was for the best.
Even when they had sex, there was not much heart to it and he had simply done it like he had to.
He had told himself that if he didn’t get attached, it wouldn’t hurt as much if something happened to them.
That if he kept his distance, he wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of loss, just like with his sister.
But after everything he had been through in that rift, he finally understood how flawed that thinking was.
Life was too short. Too unpredictable.
Rather than running away from connections, he needed to cherish them while he had the chance.
Taking a deep breath, Creed raised his hand and summoned his companions.
The moment Lilith materialized, she pounced on him with a force that nearly knocked him over. Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, her face buried in his shoulder, her Purple bat like wings fluttering behind her.
"I-I’m so happy you’re alive!" she practically shouted, her voice shaking.
Before he could even react, Tierra appeared beside them, usually calm and composed, but this time, even she pulled him into a tight hug.
For a second, Creed just stood there, stunned.
Then, he sighed, feeling an odd warmth in his chest as he slowly wrapped his arms around them both.
"I’m sorry," he murmured. "For how I treated you before."
Lilith lifted her head, her violet eyes wide with surprise. Tierra also stared at him, as if she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
"I was stupid," he admitted. "I kept my distance because I was scared. But... I don’t want to do that anymore."
He looked between them, his gaze steady. "From now on... I’m treating you like family."
For a moment, there was silence.
Then, to his utter shock, Lilith’s face turned bright red, and before he could react, she kissed him.
It was quick, awkward, and flustered, but it still left him blinking in shock.
He turned to Tierra, who looked like she wanted to do the same but hesitated.
Creed smirked. Before she could pull away, he kissed her instead.
Tierra’s eyes widened, then she smiled softly.
Lilith, still blushing furiously, cleared her throat. "W-Well! Since we’re family now, how do you plan on making it up to us?"
Creed chuckled.
"We’re going on a mini vacation."
Lilith and Tierra both froze.
"A... vacation?" Tierra repeated.
Creed grinned. "Yeah. We’ve been through hell together. It’s time to actually enjoy this world for once."
Lilith’s face lit up with excitement, and even Tierra looked pleasantly surprised.
Creed stretched his arms.
"Let’s go see what this world has to offer."
