Contract Marriage: Let's Make It Real, Mrs. Sterling!-Chapter 357 - 356: Yours Is One of a Kind
At the wrap party that evening, Ian Lee said to eat to their heart’s content, and everyone really indulged.
Although there were some conflicts between people during filming, overall, the crew got along pretty well.
From another perspective, everyone was smart; even if they didn’t like someone, they wouldn’t show it.
So the wrap party ended up being quite harmonious. Ian Lee really liked Mia Sutton and even said if there were suitable scripts in the future, he would invite her to act.
Mia Sutton smiled and accepted, as only a fool would turn down such an opportunity.
Actually, Mia didn’t drink much. Perhaps because they knew she was young, no one pressured her to drink.
However, Jensen Sterling, whom people used to think was unapproachable, seemed much more accessible after a few months of filming.
Besides, people drank more, overthinking less; they cheerfully poured drinks for Jensen Sterling.
Jensen didn’t refuse; as long as someone poured for him, he drank.
He drank a lot of alcohol and ate little food.
Mia, sitting nearby, glanced over occasionally, watching him tilt his head to drink another glass, admiring his sexy Adam’s apple as it moved.
Mia looked twice, then pursed her lips, somewhat worried about his stomach.
Then she left the private room by herself.
After a while of drinking, someone brought up Mia, and everyone noticed she was gone.
"Where’s Ms. Sutton?"
"She seemed to step out just now, maybe went to the restroom?"
Jensen paused slightly at what he heard. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
When Mia returned, she saw a tall figure standing outside the private room in the corridor, leaning against the wall, with dark eyes watching her.
Seeing this, Mia hurried over and looked into his eyes for two seconds: "Mr. Sterling, why are you out here?"
Jensen chuckled: "Looking for you."
Mia was momentarily stunned at his words, then smiled with her eyes.
"Afraid I’d leave you behind and run off?"
Jensen reached out to squeeze the back of her neck, his voice low: "Would you?"
Mia: "Of course not..." she replied crisply.
Jensen acknowledged with a hum, withdrew his hand, and lightly grasped Mia’s fingers: "Your hands are so cold, where did you go?"
Then he saw Mia reaching into her coat pocket with her other hand and pulled out a bottle of milk.
Jensen: "..."
He glanced at her clothes, thankful her pockets were big enough, or they couldn’t have held it.
The bottle was nice-looking, made of glass.
Mia withdrew her hand from Jensen’s, opened the bottle, then took a straw from her pocket, inserted it for him, and said, "I noticed you drank without eating much, worried your stomach might hurt, so here. I bought milk, take a sip."
Jensen looked at the bottle of milk in the little girl’s hand for a long time, then chuckled: "You went out just to buy milk?"
Mia blinked: "What else? Go on, take a sip." She urged.
Jensen, hearing this, let his lips curl slightly, and instead of taking the milk from her, he bent down to sip from it.
Just as Jensen was about to suggest they go back inside, a staff member arrived with a box of milk.
"Miss Sutton, your milk."
Jensen: "..." His gaze lingered on the box for several seconds.
At that moment, the private room door opened, and a person stepped out, immediately seeing Mia and Jensen standing close together.
But the actor didn’t overthink it, since the two had been close during filming anyway.
He asked puzzled, "What are you doing standing at the door instead of going in?"
Then he glanced at the staff member and the box in his hands...
Full of curiosity, he pointed at the box: "What’s...this?"
The man chuckled: "Milk."
"Ms. Sutton bought it especially for us, afraid you’d drink too much and feel uncomfortable."
Upon hearing this, the actor immediately laughed: "Ms. Sutton is so thoughtful! After socializing, my wife sometimes makes me drink a warm can of milk when I get home."
He then invited the staff member to take it inside: "Come on, everyone. Ms. Sutton bought us milk, so we don’t feel stomach pain. One bottle each, one bottle each."
Having drunk quite a bit, no one cared about social status anymore, and they showered Mia with praise.
The staff member with the box of milk distributed them amongst the group.
Outside... the two of them hadn’t gone in.
Jensen stood there, moved closer to Mia, lightly chuckling as he said: "So it wasn’t just for me? ...Girlfriend." He dragged out the last three words, teasingly.
Mia licked her lips at his words, looked up at him: "Well, everyone’s here, so... convenient."
Then, after a pause, continued: "But... Mr. Sterling, the one just for you was specially chosen by me, the most expensive; the others were incidental."
After saying this, she looked at Jensen, her eyes bright, as if asking how great she was, almost writing praise me on her face.
After a while, Jensen smiled, his voice deep and magnetic: "Mm, you did wonderfully, I really like it."
Looking at the little girl, he felt a ticklish affection, wanting to hug her, and in fact, he did just that, holding her close, resting his head lightly on her shoulder, softly chuckling as he spoke.
"My Mia is so considerate."
Mia immediately felt delighted: "Of course, only yours is unique, everyone else’s is bulk."
These words undoubtedly hit the sweet spot in Jensen’s heart.
How sweet his little girl was.
When someone inside called for them, Jensen released his hold: "Let’s go in."
Mia obediently followed him in.
In the room, everyone had a bottle of milk in front of them, making for an odd sight.
However, no one minded; they were just happy Mia bought it for them.
As she came in, they repeatedly praised her.
Many people’s fondness for her increased significantly, and Mia wasn’t aware that a simple act of hers, out of kindness, had gained her goodwill.
Once they entered, the staff member finished his job and left, while everyone focused on complimenting her, not noticing Jensen’s bottle was different from theirs.
The wrap party was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone; as they had their fill of food and drink, the crowd dispersed.
All filming for "Drama Tragedy" was completed by this point; the wrap party was done, wrap photos were taken, and the official blog had posted, just awaiting review and broadcast.
Overall, these nearly four months had been fulfilling for Mia Sutton, as she learned a lot within the crew.
