Contract Marriage: Let's Make It Real, Mrs. Sterling!-Chapter 194: But He Bought Milk Tea
"Hello, here is your spicy crayfish, please take it."
Jensen Sterling took it, said thank you, and then got up to leave the shop.
The staff watched him take the item, eyes momentarily confused. Come to think of it, Jensen Sterling was quite a regular there, but wasn’t his taste always very mild? Why had it suddenly become spicy?
After buying the spicy crayfish, Jensen Sterling went to a milk tea shop, and this was pretty much his first time visiting a milk tea shop. He wore a mask that covered most of his face.
He went to a shop with good privacy, glanced up at the menu of various flavors of milk tea, for the first time, Jensen felt a bit of a headache.
A few seconds later, Jensen gave up and asked the staff, "Hello, could you tell me which one sells the best here?"
The staff heard him and responsibly said, "Hello, our best seller in summer is the Frozen Grape Paddle."
Jensen glanced at it and then said, "I’ll take a cup of that, and one cup of pearl milk tea, please add an extra portion of pearls."
"Sure, sir, please pay here."
Jensen opened his phone and paid, then started waiting for the drinks. The staff inside were making the drinks, one of them kept glancing back several times at the man standing there, after a few seconds, looked back again.
Then quietly said to another, "Hey, did you notice this guy looks a bit like... Jensen Sterling?"
The adjacent female staff cautiously turned back for a glance, he looked somewhat similar.
"Probably not, right? If it were him, how could he be here buying milk tea alone? It doesn’t make sense."
"True."
The two chatted while keeping busy, and soon the two drinks were ready.
"Sir, your milk tea is ready."
Hearing this, Jensen put his phone in his pocket, reached out to take them, then said thank you.
The staff stared at his hands, immediately became dazed, and unbelievingly looked up at the person in front.
Jensen: "Thanks." He then picked up the two cups of milk tea and left.
After several seconds, the female staff finally reacted.
"Ahhh, that person was Jensen Sterling, it was really Jensen Sterling, damn, I saw him in person!" Her speaking speed was lightning fast; anyone could hear the excitement in her voice.
The other person was stunned and moments later said, "Didn’t you say he couldn’t come to buy milk tea alone? Besides, he was wearing a mask, we aren’t hardcore fans, how’d you recognize him?"
"His rings, those two rings are identical to the ones he’s been wearing at recent events, and now that I think about it, the height, body shape also fit."
She had seen that ring on trending searches last time and was quite intrigued, even clicked in to take a look.
"Really? Then we missed a chance for an autograph, sob sob, suddenly feeling so sad."
Anyone who missed a celebrity encounter would regret not asking for an autograph, let alone when it’s a national-level movie star.
Even though they weren’t hardcore fans, they were casual fans, missing this chance almost killed them with heartache.
After feeling excited and regretful for a bit, they continued their work, and shortly after, the former female staff casually remarked, "Didn’t expect he really wore that ring on the ring finger, generally artists wouldn’t wear it like that."
The person on the other side replied while working, "Artists, I suppose that’s just their style, nothing much."
Later, that female staff thoughtfully remarked, "But he bought milk tea, two cups."
The two of them suddenly: "..."
