Contract Marriage: Let's Make It Real, Mrs. Sterling!-Chapter 192: I Don’t Have WeChat
Hearing Jensen Sterling’s words, Clark Jacobs finally came alive and interjected with a smile, "Bringing sister-in-law out instantly overshadows everything."
Upon hearing this, Jensen curled the corners of his lips slightly, perhaps he himself didn’t even notice.
Their seating position was a bit secluded, plus there was music playing in the room, so people seated farther away couldn’t hear what they were saying no matter how they strained their ears.
Over at the other side sat a few girls who came just because they heard Jensen Sterling would be there.
One of the girls was nudged with an elbow by another, lifted her chin slightly in a gesture, and whispered, "Go on, haven’t you liked him for a long time? This is such a great opportunity."
"But... he doesn’t seem to like my type," the girl said hesitantly.
"How would you know if you don’t try? You’re not bad looking, and you’re just going to meet him."
The girl was somewhat swayed, perhaps she had been thinking about this already but felt a bit timid and didn’t dare to go.
Encouraged by her companion, she took a deep breath, summoned her courage, and stood up, holding a pen and a very nice notebook in her hands.
As she stood, the attention in the room fell on her, watching her walk step by step, seemingly shy, her ears completely red.
Seeing this, Brian Rhodes raised an eyebrow slightly, "Looks like someone’s admirer is here."
Clark Jacobs, who was still playing on his phone, immediately looked up, his gaze shifting from the girl to Jensen Sterling, taking a couple of glances back and forth.
Well, wherever Jensen Sterling and Brian Rhodes are, he feels invisible.
Is it trendy these days to like older guys?
Sure enough, as the girl slowly approached and stood in front of Jensen Sterling, she shyly handed over her notebook, "I... really like you, I’ve watched your shows for a long time, could you sign an autograph for me?"
Jensen raised his head slowly, staring into her eyes for two seconds, his expression indifferent. Just as the girl was about to falter, Brian Rhodes, eager for a show, reached out and placed the notebook in front of Jensen.
"It’s just an autograph, just sign it, for your fan."
Jensen looked coolly for a few seconds before extending his hand to sign, his voice faint, "There, done."
Brian Rhodes: "Okay, here you go." He said this and handed the notebook back.
Yet the girl didn’t leave for a while, Brian Rhodes noticed this and smiled, "What, want another signature?"
"Um... could I, um, add you on WeChat?" The girl’s eyes sparkled with hope, waiting anxiously for an answer.
This time Jensen glanced at her, then leaned casually against the sofa, his voice chilly, "I don’t use WeChat."
"Anything else?"
His gaze was cold, though he didn’t seem to say much, it made people fearful from the heart.
The girl moved her lips several times, but couldn’t say anything, and after a while squeezed out a thank you, clutching her notebook and left quickly.
Other people in the room who had intended to ask for WeChat backed away from their ideas upon seeing this.
After she left, Brian Rhodes took a sip of his drink and said with a smile, "No matter how long it’s been, the charm remains undiminished."
Jensen shot him a cool glance, Brian Rhodes merely smiled.
