Contract Marriage: Let's Make It Real, Mrs. Sterling!-Chapter 119: Not Girlfriend, but Wife
In a space, there stood a few staff members, a pop superstar, a film bigwig, along with a somewhat popular idol from a talent show.
By any look, they seemed unlikely to be connected, but the truth proved otherwise.
Jensen Sterling’s familiarity and intimacy in his tone made the air around them a bit tense.
Apart from Nolan Sinclair, everyone else’s brains were already racing.
Does Jensen the film emperor know the female lead of their music video?
Undoubtedly, he does.
Then the next question arises, what exactly is their relationship?
Siblings? Impossible, Jensen has never hinted at having a sister.
Relatives? That can’t be... right?
Or perhaps, a couple?
When this thought emerged, almost everyone was dying to shake their heads like a rattle drum; what a terrifying idea!!!
Nolan Sinclair stood lazily by, arms crossed, only throwing a glance at the two not far away with a calm expression.
In the eyes of others, Jensen Sterling and Mia Sutton were exchanging words that they couldn’t hear.
Then, they saw the girl raise her eyebrows and smile, affectionately linking arms with the person next to her.
Everyone: "..."
Jensen Sterling walked over with Mia Sutton, nodded at them, and said, "This is my kid. If there’s anything she doesn’t do well, don’t hesitate to say it."
Even though he said that, his demeanor and tone didn’t reflect it at all, and no one dared to really think he was inviting them to criticize Mia casually.
He was clearly there to back her up.
The subtext was definitely that if my kid does something wrong, please be forgiving!
But... kid?
Although everyone was still puzzled, they dared not ask more, whereas Nolan Sinclair was different. His status and standing were on par with Jensen Sterling, so he had no such reservations.
He joked, "Girlfriend?"
While phrased as a question, he was almost certain inside.
If he was only suspicious during the last "Shining Stars" performance, he was now almost sure of their relationship.
After all, he had never seen Jensen Sterling care so much about someone unrelated.
Almost everyone present discreetly perked up their ears, then they heard Jensen Sterling chuckle softly.
He said it wasn’t.
Everyone immediately felt relieved; after all, if Jensen Sterling had a girlfriend, there’d be some gossip in the circle.
Besides, the two weren’t exactly on the same level... ah.
The thought hadn’t even settled in their minds when everyone suddenly turned their gaze in their direction, mouths slightly agape in surprise.
Someone even whispered, "Quick, hold my jaw."
"What happened?"
"I’m afraid it’s going to drop." The voice was full of shock.
The previous words seemed to echo in their ears over and over again.
"Not girlfriend, wife." The impact of this statement was tremendous.
Who would have thought that this film king, living right under everyone’s nose in the entertainment industry, would get married so quietly...
They’ve just learned something unbelievable.
And after this statement, even Nolan Sinclair stood up straighter, putting away his playful expression, and spoke much more seriously.
"You’re married?"
As he spoke, his gaze unconsciously brushed over Mia Sutton’s face. The girl was still holding his arm, her palm-sized face sporting a sweet smile.
It was a completely different look from when they were filming earlier.
