Contract Marriage: Boss, Let's divorce-Chapter 868 - 867: Improvement (Part 1)
Perhaps it was because she was too frightened by Shi Che, or perhaps she was just too tired, but Ling Chuxia didn’t have any nightmares and slept soundly until she woke up naturally.
As she opened her eyes, Shi Che’s handsome face immediately came into view.
The sunlight today seemed exceptionally bright, streaming in splendidly through the floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the entire bedroom with a sunny glow. A few rays of sunlight touched Shi Che, his form enveloped in the fuzzy light, looking as divine as a deity, capturing her heart at a glance.
Ling Chuxia stared at him in a daze, her dark eyes unwittingly painted with a hint of reverie.
Shi Che curved his lips and leaned down, gently placing a kiss on her lips, "What? Have you gone silly looking?"
Shi Che’s deep voice carried a trace of joy, and Ling Chuxia’s lips couldn’t help but curl up into a smile. Then she slightly lifted her head and planted a kiss on Shi Che’s lips.
The smile on Shi Che’s face broadened. Unable to resist, he leaned down again. This time, it was no longer a light peck but a deep kiss, his tongue diving into her mouth, exploring and entwining wantonly, as if making up for all the kisses missed in these days.
Ling Chuxia cooperated at first, but as Shi Che’s kiss grew deeper, and his strength increased, she felt a little breathless and couldn’t help but push against his chest. Realizing her struggle, Shi Che slowly stopped, but he didn’t let go of her right away, holding her tightly for a while. When his breathing finally calmed, he released her, straightened up, and slightly adjusted his clothing, his voice still a bit hoarse, "Come on, time to get up."
Ling Chuxia’s dark eyes moved slightly. She didn’t move, instead, she reached out towards Shi Che, "Carry me."
Shi Che chuckled and without hesitation, picked Ling Chuxia up.

Shi Che had Aunt Zhu prepare a large spread of breakfast, with various choices and flavors.
Ling Chuxia sat on the chair, her dark eyes sweeping over the breakfast selection, but her hands remained still. Sitting next to her, Shi Che’s brows furrowed slightly, thinking she still didn’t intend to eat, his expression darkening slightly, "Chuxia."
Ling Chuxia could tell from Shi Che’s tone that he misunderstood. She slightly lifted her eyes and then smiled, "I didn’t say I wouldn’t eat, I’m just deciding what to eat."
Shi Che relaxed a bit, the gloom on his handsome face vanishing, returning to his gentle and warm demeanor. He directly brought a bowl of Red Bean Porridge in front of Ling Chuxia, "Don’t you like Red Bean Porridge? Have this."
Ling Chuxia really didn’t have much of an appetite, but having promised Shi Che to walk out of that shadow, she couldn’t bear to keep worrying him. She nodded lightly and reached out to take it, but Shi Che didn’t hand it to her, saying, "I’ll feed you."
Ling Chuxia smiled and naturally didn’t refuse.
She hadn’t eaten much for over half a month, so her appetite was very small. After two or three spoonfuls, she didn’t really want to eat anymore. However, Shi Che insisted on feeding her, and unable to resist, she begrudgingly continued eating until she finished the entire bowl of Red Bean Porridge. Only then did Shi Che stop, and Ling Chuxia couldn’t help but give him a reproachful glare.
Shi Che pretended not to see, knowing she shouldn’t eat too much, otherwise she’d vomit again. He grabbed a tissue to gently dab the corners of her mouth and then said, "Chuxia, let’s go for a walk."
The way he said it sounded like a suggestion, but it was actually a statement.
