Laura felt a twinge in her heart, "How could I not? Sis has just been really busy lately and might not be able to tutor Twinkle in English for now."

"I have a friend who happens to be going to the train station for business this afternoon, I’ll have him accompany you, so a girl arriving alone in Norcastle won’t feel lost."

"No need, Norcastle’s subway is very convenient, if worst comes to worst I’ll just take a cab."

"It’s too inconvenient for a girl with luggage to squeeze into the subway, and my friend just happens to be going to the train station with a car."

Jonah Xavier’s voice was elegant and calm, making it hard for Laura to refuse.

"Alright then."

"Bon voyage!"

"Thank you!"

After hanging up, Laura leaned back against the seat and took a deep breath. It seemed she owed Counselor Xavier even more now; when he arrived in Norcastle tomorrow, she would have to treat him to a meal.
