Chapter 444: Chapter 444: Ride Across the Endless Sea

Su Qinglan let out a soft gasp of surprise, her mouth parting instinctively.

Shi Feng didn’t hesitate. He immediately plunged his tongue inside, eager to explore every corner of the sweetness he considered his personal shrine.

The taste of her was so intoxicating that he let out a low, primal groan against her lips.

He shifted his hold, tilting her head to the side to deepen the kiss even further, his movements urgent and possessive. He wanted to consume her, to show her exactly how much her revelation had set his soul on fire.

Surprised by his sudden intensity, Su Qinglan didn’t pull away. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them. Her small nails dug into the hard muscle of his shoulder blades, leaving red marks against his skin.

Instead of flinching at the sting, Shi Feng felt a rush of satisfaction. He flexed his broad shoulders proudly, leaning into her touch and giving her even more room to leave her marks on him.

He felt like a satisfied lion...no, a proud king...knowing that his powerful female was claiming him just as fiercely as he was claiming her.

The water swirled around them, and the vines she had created remained standing like silent, leafy guardians, shielding the two lovers from the rest of the world as they lost themselves in each other.

Shi Feng finally pulled back, though only by an inch. He rested his forehead against hers, his breath coming in heavy, labored hitches that puffed warm against her skin.

His golden eyes were dark with a swirling intensity, locked onto her sparkling green ones. Seeing the same reflection of desire in her gaze made his heart thud so hard against his ribs he thought it might actually break through.

The raw power she had shown, combined with the sweetness of her kiss, had stripped away his last bit of restraint. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

He leaned down, snuggling his face into the curve of her soft shoulder, inhaling the scent of water and blooming flowers that seemed to cling to her skin.

"Lanlan," he whispered, his voice trembling with a desperate sort of hunger. "I cannot wait. Can you make me yours?"

He pressed a lingering, fervent kiss against her forehead, his large body shuddering as he waited for her answer. Su Qinglan didn’t pull away. Instead, she leaned into his ear, her voice a silky, teasing murmur that sent a fresh jolt of electricity down his spine.

"Do you know why I brought you here...?" she whispered.

Shi Feng stiffened, his mind racing. Was it for bath or For the water? He pulled back slightly, looking stunned and completely captivated. "Why?"

She didn’t give him a verbal answer. Instead, she offered him a mysterious, knowing smile that made her look like a true forest spirit. Suddenly, the water nearby erupted.

A massive, beautiful dark fish...a dolphin with skin that shimmered like polished obsidian breached the surface.

Before Shi Feng could even process what was happening, Su Qinglan’s vines shot out like living ropes, gently but firmly guiding the creature toward them.

She hopped onto the dolphin’s back with a grace he had never seen before, reaching out a hand to pull him up behind her.

As soon as he was settled, the dolphin took off. It raced through the water with incredible speed, heading in the exact opposite direction of the mermaid tribe.

Shi Feng gripped her waist, his eyes wide as he watched her. She stood, or rather, reigned over the large fish, her vines acting as reins, her orange hair whipping behind her like a banner of fire.

She wasn’t just a female to be protected anymore; she looked like a goddess of the sea and forest combined.

Awe washed over him, cooling his heated blood just enough for him to truly see her. Her aura was fierce, commanding, and utterly fearless.

He had spent so much time worrying about her safety, thinking of her as a delicate flower that needed his shade, but here she was, taming the wild depths of the water with a flick of her wrist.

He felt a deep sense of reverence. To be chosen by such a woman... it was more than he deserved.

He watched the way her muscles moved and the way she navigated the vast blue with such confidence, and he realized he wasn’t just her protector...he was her partner.

My Lanlan, he thought, his heart swelling until it ached. You are truly a goddess.

He leaned forward, pressing his chest against her back, letting her lead him wherever she desired. In this moment, he would follow her to the ends of the earth, whether by land or by sea.

The journey across the waves felt like a dream. Shi Feng leaned his cheek against Su Qinglan’s back, closing his eyes as the rhythmic splashing of the water lulled him into a state of pure content.

He wasn’t sleeping; he was simply soaking in the silent company of his female.

In his heart, he made a silent wish: if only time could stop right here, with the wind in their hair and her scent in his lungs, he would be the happiest lion in the world.

But the peaceful silence didn’t last forever. The dolphin began to slow down as a small, emerald speck appeared on the horizon.

"Shi Feng, did you fall asleep?" Su Qinglan asked, nudging him gently with her shoulder.

Shi Feng opened his eyes, a sleepy but devoted smile on his face. "No, how could I fall asleep in your presence?"

"Let’s go," she said, her voice bright with excitement. "We have reached our destination."

Shi Feng looked past her shoulder and gasped. In the middle of the vast sea sat a tiny, solitary island.

It was small, hardly more than a patch of white sand and lush greenery, and seemed completely uninhabited. There were no mermaids, no tribes, and no other beastmen.

However, what truly caught his eye was a small, charming house standing near the shore. His golden eyes widened. "A cave? Is someone living here, Lanlan?"

He immediately began to scent the air, searching for the energy of another beastman.

Aside from the small, harmless creatures of the forest and the salt of the sea, he sensed nothing. The house felt empty, yet it looked well-maintained and surrounded by life.
