Lin Xuan Qi woke up at a leisurely pace for a change.

"Brother Xuan Qi." Sima Long’s voice sounded when he entered the main hall of Lin Xuan Qi’s new house.

Beside him were Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting.

They had come to bid Lin Xuan Qi and Sima Long farewell.

"Brother Sima Long, Fei Li and Lu Ting, welcome." Lin Xuan Qi greeted them and gestured for them to have a seat.

Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting took a seat and sat beside each other.

Upon hearing what Sima Long had said, Yue Xin quickly poured a cup of tea for him and the others.

Sima Long thanked her and downed the tea in a mouthful.

"Stay safe on the journey back, keep to the official roads as much as possible." Huo Fei Li glanced at Lin Xuan Qi and said.

"We will." Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and glanced over at Sima Long, "There will be the guards from the Sima Family if anything happens."

He wasn’t too worried now with his talismans and also his cultivation.

After the encounter with Er Gou, he was much more aware of how the Five-Element Qi reigned supreme over cultivators who could only wield the Spirit Qi.

Lu Ting also did the same and said, "Have a safe journey back home."

They picked up their tea cups and returned his toast.

Huo Fei Li glanced at Lin Xuan Qi and then at Sima Long before giving out a very long sigh.

He had a great time with both of them and it was too bad for him that they would leave so soon.

Lin Xuan Qi shook his head, glanced at him and said, "Don’t worry, I might see you and Lu Ting again very soon."

"Us?" Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting pointed at their noses and asked.

"When I get back, it will be my wedding very soon and I would like to invite both of you this time." Lin Xuan Qi said.

"Wedding?" Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting asked.

Sima Long chimed in with a chuckle and said, "This time it’s for brother Xuan Qi’s second and third concubines."

"Oh..." Huo Fei Li’s mouth opened wide and he glanced at Lin Xuan Qi with admiration.

Lin Xuan Qi’s life was his dream, Huo Fei Li thought silently to himself.

Lu Ting kept quiet and glanced over at Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi.

On one end, Yue Xin was trying to look busy packing up for the trip back home, and hide her flustered face with ears burning red hot.

And on the other end, Liu Shi Shi sat with her face facing away from everyone.

Lin Xuan Qi glanced at Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting, and asked, "I will send you an invitation when the time comes, hope you can make it to the wedding."

Huo Fei Li nodded his head and said, "Don’t worry, I will be there."

Lu Ting also gave him a nod.

That was all that he needed to hear and Lin Xuan Qi decided that it was time to make a move back to Hong Feng City.

"Brother Sima Long, it’s time to go." He said and Sima Long nodded his head.

"Haven’t seen my wife for a long time, I’m eager to get back too." Sima Long stood up and said.

Lin Xuan Qi rolled his eyes at him and said, "I shall definitely let Zhang Jie know how much you’ve missed her for the past few days."

"Thanks." Sima Long patted the back of his head and said, "Do make sure to leave out any unnecessary details."

Lin Xuan Qi stood up from his rocking chair and glanced at Yue Xin.

She had just finished letting the guards get all the wooden chests onto the horse carriages.

Lin Xuan Qi had kept the wooden chests for the Spirit Herbs and the six hundred taels of gold from the dealership in his toad statue and there weren’t too many for them to transport back.

Which was a huge convenience for him.
