Chosen By The Lover's Constellation-Chapter 205: Eternity, Part Six
The first thing Lianna saw as she woke up the next morning was:
Quest Gained
{Defeat Vy today}
{Reward: Undying Love (Instinct)}
She sighed, sitting up on the bed. Enverna was already out. For a moment, Lianna worried that she’d overslept but, no. It was 6:00 am on the dot.
She ran a worried hand through her hair, looking down at the wooden floor.
[Today, I’ll avenge you, Miss Taylor. I promise.]
Almost as if on cue, Lianna’s phone vibrated.
Mel: What time should we meet up?
Lianna: Come by in two hours.
Lianna: There’s a lot we need to do before we go to fight her.
With those messages sent, Lianna got up, heading to the bathroom to get ready for what was probably going to be the longest day of her life.

Hours later, Caroline, Mel, Zura, and Enverna stood before Lianna, with G.E.M. standing by the door.
"So," Zura clapped her hands. "What’s the plan?"
"We get ready, we head on over and hope to find her," Lianna stated. "If Vy’s not there, we... convince someone to tell us where she went. One way or another, though, this ends today."
Enverna stepped forward.
"Taking into account the fact that Vy can use all our Instincts, it’s imperative that Lianna can’t be the one to fight her head-on."
Lianna’s heart stung to hear that but she had a hard time arguing against that point. Enverna continued.
"If Vy gets a hold of {Target Analysis}, she will be able to better strategize to defeat us or she might just elect to run away. Lianna will need to remain at a distance."
"So, who’s going to take her on?" Caroline asked.
"In my opinion," Enverna replied, "it should be Zura and I. I can focus on taking Vy down and Zura can keep any potential surprises she might have up her sleeve from damaging me. You, Mel, and Lianna should focus on keeping Vy’s friends off of us."
Caroline didn’t seem to like that. Lianna felt the same way. But, again, it was just hard to argue against it.
"Alright," Caroline soon conceded.
"We can probably expect a lot more opposition today than we would have had on other days," Lianna said. "Vy’s Constellation might warn her that we’re coming. Keep an eye out for any potential traps."
As the group took that information in, they all grew silent.
It seemed clear they were all taking the information in, slowly.
"Okay," Enverna nodded. "Aside from that, feel free to head over to the training center and warm up. We’ll be heading out at noon."
"Wait," Lianna called out. "I, uh... Have one more thing to say."
Lianna stood before her friends, her heart pounding as they all turned to look at her. She swallowed, gathering her courage.
"Before the fight, we need to be in top condition," Lianna began, her voice steady but soft. She saw Enverna’s eyes narrow slightly, curiosity piqued.
"Where are you going with this, Lianna?" Enverna asked, but she suddenly stopped, realization dawning on her face.
Lianna took a deep breath. "I’ll show you."
Without further hesitation, Lianna stepped closer to Enverna.
She felt her cheeks flush as she leaned in, pressing her lips softly against Enverna’s.
The kiss was tentative at first, gentle and unsure. She could sense the surprise in Enverna, but also the acceptance. Lianna pulled back for a brief moment, their eyes locking.
[... This is so damn embarrassing. But, get over it,] she told herself. [It’s for the stats.]
Then she leaned in again, this time with more confidence.
The kiss deepened, growing passionate as Lianna’s tongue slipped into Enverna’s mouth. She felt Enverna respond, their tongues intertwining, and the kiss grew wet with mingled saliva.
Lianna’s hand moved to Enverna’s waist, slipping under her shirt and down into her pants.
Lianna was pretty sure she heard a gasp in the room as their friends watched, stunned.
Lianna’s fingers found Enverna’s core, and she began to move them skillfully, drawing soft moans from Enverna. Lianna’s eyes flicked up, meeting the shocked gazes of Caroline, Mel, and Zura.
She held their eyes one by one, her fingers never ceasing their movements.
Enverna’s breathing quickened, her body pressing into Lianna’s touch.

Finally, Enverna shuddered, her climax rippling through her body as Lianna held her steady.

Caroline, Mel, and Zura exchanged glances, the weight of the moment settling over them.
They knew what was at stake, and now they understood the lengths Lianna was willing to go to ensure they were ready for the fight ahead.

Lianna gave her a reassuring nod and gently took her hand, guiding her closer.
She placed a tender kiss on Mel’s lips, starting softly, just as she had with Enverna. Her hand rested on the small of Mel’s back, drawing her closer, their bodies pressed together. Mel responded hesitantly at first, but soon melted into the kiss, her hands finding Lianna’s shoulders for support.
Lianna deepened the kiss, her tongue exploring Mel’s mouth with increasing fervor. She could feel Mel’s heartbeat quicken, her breath hitching.
Breaking the kiss, Lianna knelt before her, her hands moving to the waistband of Mel’s pants. With a swift, confident motion, she pulled them down, exposing Mel’s bare skin to the cool air.
