Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 86: The proposal - I
From where she stood it was certainly a disadvantage because he was talking behind her back and Evelyn could not face him. Not that at the moment she would love to face him but it would be easier if he was not breathing down her neck.
One wrong answer he might end up strangling her.
For his answer to the question that he had asked, what did Evelyn think of him?
"You are the don," she said and closed her eyes forcefully hoping that he would catch the drift.
Salvatore exhaled loudly before stepping back and turning her around by holding her elbows.
"That is not what I want to know Evelyn," he said and placed his first under her chin as he very gently raised her head for her eyes to look at him. "I want to know what you think of me. Not as the Don but just salvatore."
Just Salvatore?
But that was the thing, Evelyn did not know Salvatore as just Salvatore. What she knew him as was the don of an organisation that she had the protection of.
"I. ." She huffed, "can I truly speak freely?"
He gave her a nod.
"We have never established the contact for me to know the real Salvatore. I address you as the don and I treat you as the don." She gulped but continued, "it is difficult to say so because I am not a family member or friend of yours to decide and conclude you."
Even though she had been given permission to speak freely Evelyn still looked at him like he would kill her any given moment.
His eyebrows shot up for a brief moment before he nodded at her and glanced over only for him to look back at her again.
"I agree with what you say." He gave her a nod. "Keep your Saturday free. If you have any assignments I will have someone else do them for you."
He booped her nose with his finger before walking away leaving Evelyn to stand at the kitchen counter.
Her mouth remained open as she stared at the departing back of the dawn. That really happen?

Evelyn did have a few assignments that Evelyn had hoped to do in the early morning but she felt terribly ill rendering her not being able to do it.
She did not even feel like getting up from the bad but still willed herself to do so. They have two little guests that they had to entertain who had begged their uncle to sleep with him.
The first thing that she needed was coffee. Definitely it was going to be a strong one. Without changing or even bothering to make her hair brush them or even wash her face Evelyn just walked downstairs and directly into the kitchen.
"Evelyn?" Marcello chuckled at the sight of her. "You look like you were hit by a truck last night. Did you have trouble sleeping?"
Did she? All Evelyn remembered was that as soon as she hit the bed she was fast asleep. But she fell asleep early in the night. Why was she feeling so tired?
She shook her head. "Maybe I’m just a little tired."
"Tired?" He repeated. "You look more than tired, Evelyn. Do you want to visit a doctor?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
Do they have to visit a doctor when they have one living right down stairs? Nonetheless she shook her head as an answer. She was fine. This is probably a one time thing.
"Good morning," both Marcelo and Evelyn turned around slightly to see Salvatore coming out with the twins in his arms into the kitchen.
The twins were hugging Salvatore but just as they entered the kitchen both of them climbed down and went to Marcello.
Marcello had begun to talk animatedly with the children which made Evelyn even though her head was about to burst with the noise.
"Look at you," Evelyn cooed, "finally found someone of your age."
Marcello deadpanned, "Ha, ha."
"I, for one, would have to say that it was awfully funny." Lucas chuckled as he came in. "I think Marcelo is occupied for the day."
"Should I tell mum you are ganging up on me?" Marcello threw a frown to his brother.
Salvatore chuckled, "I just distinctly remember Vittorio saying that to his sister last night."
Evelyn lowered her head onto the tile and lost as her shoulders shook. Even though the brothers were as strong as anything possibly could be, they could still make a joke on each other and take it because even Marcelo was cracking a smile.
The morning might be a blur but it was a happy blood. Salvatore and Lucas and give the chef the morning of. Even the chef, Mrs. Roso had a smile on her face instead of the usual cold expression. She still lingered in the back of the kitchen watching everyone and being mindful of the bots whenever Lucas or Salvatore left them.
It was kind of fun to watch the woman panic and make sure that the kitchen was not on fire.
Alessia sat on her lap and pointed to her har. "Make? Uncle Salvi does not know how."
Evelyn chuckled and immediately she was aware of Salvatore looking at her making her take a gamble.
"Of course he doesn’t." Evelyn whispered animatedly to Alessia’s ear. "He always has the same style."
Everyone in the room chuckled, even Salvatore.
Evelyn made a beautiful hairstyle for Alessia. She braided the front of her hair and then combined into one while leaving the other almost half of it free.
"Wow," Alessia turned her head side to side to see hairstyle properly. "How did you know that my mummy makes the same?"
She didn’t. Evelyn shrugged. "I thought it would look pretty on you."
Alessia nodded and turned around to ask Evelyn something when her brother entered the room. "Auntie eve, uncle Salvatore is asking for you in his office."
A small chill ran down her spine. Certainly something that she was not expecting for today.
