The conversation where she had had Marcelo say scripted words had gone seriously wrong. So the next possible saying to do that would make sense to her was to help avoid Salvatore at all costs.

So much so that for the past few days, three days to be exact, Evelyn was either running out of the penthouse earlier than usual or going out after the Don did.

And so far, she has been successful while doing that.

"He can only make a claim on me if he sees me around." She whispered to herself as she combed her hair. "If I do not appear in front of him his attention would be taken away from me just as a child does with a toy."

Acclaim was a different issue than a girlfriend. A girlfriend could be serious and could not be serious, she could be shared amongst men which was not very common but it could happen. A claim was a completely different story.

A claim meant that she was his and he had decided it for them. It was a given that he had the power to do that and Evelyn would not be able to say no.

On the contrary if even still had her father’s protection she would have been able to do whatever she wanted but it was not the same when she was living in the house of someone else. Under his protection she would have to follow his commands.

Evelyn huffed before walking downstairs after keeping the track of time. Salvatore usually left at 8:30 in the morning and it was fifteen minutes to nine. She was not going to make it to her first class.

She picked up her bag and was out of the door within seconds. She climbed down the stairs in a hurry and was almost on her weight to enter the lift.

"Such a hurry?" Julian’s voice made her stop.

Evelyn gulped and turned around to look at him and then glands around the area to make sure that there was no one else especially with the name of s in the room.

Evelyn stared at him in silence before giving him a small shrug. "Are you ready to go?" She stared at Julian. It seems like he was being sarcastic for second and broke his composure.

Julian give her a firm not as he said, "unfortunately we will have to make a small stop in between that is if you do not mind." He warped to her and student front of her with his hands clasped behind his back.

"Is it important?" Because if she was not going to make it to her first lecture Evelyn wanted to make it to everyone else.

Julian nodded and so did Evelyn after him. If it was important then she have to go with it.

Julian opens the car door for her as they had walked out of the building and just as he closed the door and sat on the passenger seat within moments they were driving on the main road.

Evelyn did not know that someone else was going to be joining them but she stayed quiet and let it happen.

It did not take long to notice that they were on a completely different route from what they were supposed to take in the university. Evelyn look that the men sitting in the front. Nothing seemed after the ordinary then why were they taking her into a complete different direction without informing her first?

Pushing the thoughts out of her mind she stayed quiet and got a hold of her phone. They won’t do anything to her and if they did, the bosses would never let it go unpunished.

The cast of in front of a huge building and Evelyn had no idea what it was for. Julian got out of the car and opened her door, "Ma’am."

Evelyn glanced at him and then add the building. She got out of the car without a word but get her back with her. She moved inside as Julian walk beside her.

She glanced at the receptionist who nodded at her and then at Julian. The left side was filled with people working. Which meant that she was in an office but why?

"Who are we meeting, Julian?" This time Evelyn could not help herself with the bubbling curiosity inside her.

"I am not allowed to say, madam." His clipped answer came back within seconds.

Evelyn glanced at him before looking forward as the lift doors closed. If he could not tell that it was clear that he was commanded not to tell there was nothing she could do about it.

She sighed. This could mean a lot of things but Evelyn was trying not to think of that.

The lift doors opened after a few minutes and Julian walked out first as a hesitant evelyne followed behind. There was another receptionist but Julian did not stop for her.

He gave a firm knock on the door before they heard a come in and he opened the door for Evelyn to walk in.

Evelyn look at the open door before looking at him again. "Are you not coming in?"

Julian shook his head and pointed to the door nudging her silently to walk inside.

Evelyn hesitantly looked at the door once again. She had no intentions of going inside a specially without a guard and her guard was Julian who was behaving sketchy.

It felt like he would kill her if she had the chance.

But that was the main question. This was not his chance now was it? Because it was that Evelyn was going to do everything and her power to Bolt away.

She licked her lips before nodding and walking inside only to stop two steps inside the room.

She gaped at the sight of who was in front of her. The sound of the door closing made her jam. So Julian had closed the door behind her.

Evelyn gulped.
