Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 184: A glimpse - I
[Two years prior ]
The pain she felt was unimaginable. Never in her life had she been in such pain and Evelyn would give anything to get out of it.
Her eyesight felt heavy and she almost lost control of her consciousness but it was the smearing pain that came from her forehead keeping her in consciousness.
"God.." she groaned and her hand moved to her head before the rest of her body coiled into the position of a fetus. Her entire body hurt and at this point, Evelyn could not point out the exact spot where it hurts the most.
She had never felt so much pain.
At the moment she regretted the fact that the pain was enough to not let her slip back into the world where she would have no idea what was going on but she had to fight.
Someone had pushed her down the stairs.
Her stomach was giving equal competition in regards to the pain that she felt in her head. This was bad. This was the best thing that happened to her given that there was a baby inside her stomach.
Her eyes snapped open when she felt something slimy in between her legs.
She gasped silently, as no sound came from her mouth at the immense amount of pain and the sudden shock she felt at the realisation that there could be nothing else done blood in between her legs at this point.
Slowly, the realisation came that she had fallen down the stairs and the chance of losing her child was over majority that what she would have ever wanted.
Evelyn closed her eyes before she slowly moved her hands and twisted her body so that she would be lying on her side and no longer on her stomach.
Her hands were met with the floor and she slowly raised herself up as much as she could. Her arms shook at the pressure applied at them. This certainly felt like they had been broken by the fall.
Crying in pain as she finally got up into a sitting position, Evelyn looked around to see who was responsible for this.
Her eyes moved to the front of the house where the entrance was when she found no one standing there. Then she, with massive amounts of pain, twisted her neck and looked up the stairs when she found No one.
Of course, why would she find anyone?
Whoever it was must have gotten out of there while they had the time to do so. She had fainted for a while and that must have given them enough opportunity to leave and hide or even leave the building. No one would have wanted to have their face seen while committing such a crime...
Crime.. it was obvious that this crime was going to go unpunished. The world could not know that she was pregnant from the last three months when her marriage had only last week meaning that going to the police was going to be the worst option she could think of.
The other option that she was left with was telling Salvatore and demanding justice from the don himself.
But that wasn’t going to work out for either because there was no way in hell that he would ever consider letting this thing get out of the circle of the three people who knew about it.
He would rather bury all of it than let anyone ever know. It would definitely tarnish his reputation and he could never afford for it to get out of hand.
Never to forget the fact that his father was here and he would be coming down or home anytime soon and he would definitely see her.
She almost cried at the spot given with the pain and the tension and the risks. If Angelo found out about her pregnancy then she might as well be shot on the spot.
Evelyn looked down at her stomach only to find a growing red spot in between her legs. It was red in colour which meant that it was obviously blood and the pain in stomach only confirmed her suspicions.
She had definitely miscarried...But maybe there was hope? She sniffed as she tried to get a better look at her stomach. Her eyes could not manage to make out anything.
It did happen in certain cases that there was no miscarriage and the foetus survived. It must be false God Was There and God often bestowed miracles.
Evelyn had no knowledge of where Salvatore was. Neither did she know where Angelo was, meaning that the only person she could find in the house was either Marco or the two other maids.
"Oh god.." a whimper out of pain left her mouth as Evelyn palmed her womb where she felt very enormous amount of pain.
It felt like someone had cloth their way inside her stomach and was squeezing with all their might. Her stomach was being churned into flat bread.
She had to get up. There was no one that could help here and if Marco knew then Salvatore would probably have to take everything into his own hands and that might not be the best thing for her.
Slowly she turned around and placed her hands on the stairs before placing the weight on them and standing up on shaky legs.
There might be a chance that her child might be alive and even though she could feel the blood dripping down her legs via streams, she kept the hope alive as a means for her survival.
Slowly she walked to the closest room that was behind the stairs and guest room.
Closing the door behind her she slid down the road before grimacing in pain. Evelyn had completely forgotten about the fact that her body would definitely revolt against being plopped down on the floor with some force. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
She hissed loudly, letting go of the pain verbally but as silently as possible given that if she made any sound there will be people listening on her.
Evelyn let out a shuddered breath before letting go of every emotion she felt. She felt like dying, scratch that, she was already at the door of death and he was already looking down at her.
Her phone was still in her pocket and she could feel that. Thankfully, this was the only thing that was going to get her out of this.
Slowly and steadily she put the phone out and dialled a number. There was only one person that would help her in this country and to get her out of this.

[PRESENT TIME]
Pressing the power button on the phone, Alexis switched off the phone and pulled out the sim before placing it in two different places.
A hollow, sinking feeling came to her stomach and she could not help but to rub her chest as a try to get rid of it.
There was no way that.. but how would she ever know?
The only thing she could think of was to go and sit in the garden to clear her thoughts, which is why Alexis made her way to the door open it only to find her daughter standing in front of it with her hand held out as she was about to knock.
"Hi.." she gulped and gave her mother a sheepish smile. "How are you?"
Alexis narrowed her eyes at the younger version of herself, "We just met, Bella. Hardly 10 minutes could have passed."
She knew her daughter and her maternal instincts almost never lied when it came to her three children.
That was perhaps one of the reasons why she was worried when she got to know that Salvatore had gone underground and the most he could do was give her a phone call.
Certainly, at that point she had been worried the most when it came to Salvatore.
Similarly to the situation she narrowed her eyes and Bella who stood in front of her with a smile on her face and it was obvious that the girl was hiding something for she was going to tell Alexis something that she was not going to like.
"What is it?" She asked from the threshold of the door with her arms crossed in front of a chest, giving her daughter ’the’ look.
"Well.." Bella gulped, "since you have been so irritated and so much hurt by the fact that no one was telling your anything, I am here to give you the information that I have received just now."
"Really?" Alexis tilted her head to the side. This was not the first time this was happening to her. In fact, it happened to so many times that Angelo would be trying to tell her something but only in vague terms making no sense in any way.
Bella Rosa nodded. "Salvatore has come out of hiding. In fact, he is on his way to London on a plane!"
Alexis felt her smile die down.
The small piece of excitement that she had felt on finally being included in even though she knew that it could have been a trap immediately extinguished itself.
Salvatore was on his way to London which meant. But why go to London?!
