Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 165: A sentence of death - III
Life slowly drained out of his eyes and Evelyn helplessly watched it happen. She had done this and now she had to deal with it. Now, she would have to live with it.
The dead body of her friend that she had stabbed repeatedly from the dagger that was in her hand... it was all in front of her.
It was the reality that Evelyn knew she would never forget.
There were stab wounds all over his neck which she had targeted as it would be easiest to kill anyone. Then it was all over his back and she could see how blood was training especially with the water still coming out of a shower head.
She sighed and then huffed before wiping her forehead in Distress.
What had she done?
She wordlessly switched the shower off before she moved away and towards the mirror.
Her shirt, which had once been light green in color, was now having red spots on it.
But it had to be done, she tried to convince herself. If she did not kill him, he would have to kill her or worse, hand her over to Salvatore who would eventually kill her and her daughter.
It was something that was going to happen one way or the other and especially when she had been found out by Giovanni.
There was no way it and the one where she had, she had prioritized her daughter without an ounce of guilt or second thoughts peeping into her mind.
Arabella did not observe what was coming her way had they been found out by Salvatore.
Evelyn was not sure if he would just kill them both or even keep arabella in front of her, dangling her in front of Evelyn so that she would always be on the tip of her toes and do whatever was asked of her.
She closed her eyes before she opened them and silently moved around the entire room to begin cleaning.
The first thing that she had to do was erase the evidence that she had never been here. She had not touched a lot but Evelyn had to make sure that everything was cleaned and he was staying alone.

It was around 3 a.m. in the morning when she had finally returned to her room. Her daughter had thankfully been sleeping.
Evelyn took a seat on the edge of the bed with still blood and wet clothes. Her eyes were made on her innocent daughter who slept peacefully.
Oh, how much She wanted to remain that way forever. The innocent little girl with her red chubby cheeks who was sleeping the night away peacefully was something that Evelyn would love to keep on for as long as she could.
What happened at night only confirmed her theory of what she had thought of in the diner.
If Giovanni was here, and he was just a small fish in the pond, it definitely meant that The Other big fishes were coming.
The biggest fish of the Salvatore in he would be coming as well and soon the town would actually become a war zone.
It was going to be soon and she had to get the hell out of here.
She had to get out of there and she had to get out of it soon.

Arabella was surprisingly up when Evelyn was almost done packing whatever they had taken out of the suitcases yesterday.
Her little baby sat on the bed as she rubbed her eyes, "where are you going?"
"We," Evelyn corrected but did not bother answering as she was still checking for another thing or two that she might have left behind.
"Are we living again?" Bella whined, making Evelyn stop what she was doing and make her way to the little baby in the bed.
"What is it?" Placing her hands under the arms of a daughter, Evelyn pulled her into her lap. "Why are you so sad this early in the morning?"
Arabella pouted and went slightly to the side making her mother hold on to her weight. "I thought we would be staying this time.. we just came here now.."
With a sigh, she placed a makeshift smile on her face before it hit her.
She could not just leave yet, especially after what had happened last night.
It would seem suspicious if the people in the room next to the one where her murder had taken place suddenly left and were nowhere to be found because they had skipped the town.
Maybe moving away today was going to be the worst Idea she could have.
"You know," she turned around and raised her to her eye level, "how about we get some good ol ’pancakes?"
"Waffles!"
Eveyln chuckled. "Fine, then. Waffles."
Giving Arabella a bath fairly quickly was easy for her especially when the water was warm but when it came to her the water had turned freezing cold.
She did not even use any soap, instead, she just brought herself quickly with the cold water and then wiped herself clean before she had hurriedly put away her clothes and moved out of the bathroom.
Thankfully, Evelyn prayed to the god in thanks that she had not washed her hair with cold water otherwise she would have probably died by now.
"Come," she picked up her daughter and left the room after grabbing her purse.
She locked the door behind her and without so much of a glance at the door behind which she had been last night she moved into the left directly which had one person inside it this time.
Bella played with the zipper of a jacket and Evelyn could not help but pull her closer. This was never going to happen again. She could never take a chance like this that could threaten Bella to such an extent.
She had murdered someone in the room right next to their daughter was sleeping. Someone was going to take her away and she would either never meet arabella again or both of them would be killed.
But what hurt her more was she had to kill someone she considered her friend. Geovanni Rozario was the only son of one of her father’s associates. She was someone that she had grown up with.
Even though they did not meet like friends and only when there was an event organized by their parents, Evelyn still considered him to be close and so did he.
She closed her eyes for a brief second. Where had life brought her?
The lift doors opened, groaning at the lack of maintenance and Evelyn stepped out of it along with the man who was standing beside her.
"Hello you!" Heather waved her fingers into the direction of Arabella who smiled and waved back shyly before she hid into her mother’s neck.
Evelyn cleared her throat, demanding the attention of the women discreetly, "I saw and heard in the diner what’s happening with the town.."
"Ah," Heather closed her eyes. She sighed and opened them, "in this line of business even though we hardly have any visitors in, business has gone down significantly and I would not blame you if you want to leave early."
This was good.
Evelyn gave in as well. "Give me something that could tell me where to go?" She licked her lips. "I want to make sure where I am going and this does not happen again."
Heather nodded. "I will have them out when you return from your breakfast." She spoke in soft tones so that arabella would not hear it and Evelyn appreciated that.
With a last nod, she moved out of the inn with her daughter who was now finally on her feet and was ready to walk on her own.
"Do you want to give in the same one?" Evelyn asked her child. "Or should we go to another diner?"
"I think the same one." She chirped, happy to be out.
Within a few minutes they reached the similar diner where they ate their food yesterday.
Bella had pointed out that she wanted to sit in the same seat where she had been yesterday and since no one was sitting there Evelyn allowed it. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
The same witness that had taken their highest appeared in front of them and with a smile gave them their menu cards.
"Waffles!" Arabella shouted at the top of her voice without even looking at the menu.
"Done," the waitress confirmed loudly. "And for mum?"
Evelyn did not open the menu either. "Just eggs and sausages."
Taking their order the waitress left and Evelyn turned her eyes to her daughter who was peeping out of the window with her hands and cheeks smashed against the glass.
"Mummy, look!" The 2 year old voice came out muffled but was still clear to her mother. "It’s such a big car!"
Evelyn turned around to check what her daughter was talking about and found a Rolls-Royce driving past them.
Rolls Royce? Here?
