The audience outside the Solarium spire were stunned...

The whole of those watching behind the screens were stunned..

That..thing.. whatever it was, it definitely didn’t look like anything someone of Dante’s level should’ve been facing.

There was no way they could tell how powerful it actually was, but in a world like theirs, a monster like that, one no one seemed able to identify, could only be two things..

Weak enough to not matter..

Or..

Strong enough for the general public to not need to know..

Obviously the tower wouldn’t spawn anything of the first category, so very clearly, they were stunned speechless...

The silence continued until....

"HE FUCKING DID ITTTT!!!!!!!!"

"WOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

A thunderous roar of excitement shook the entire viewing platform and the surrounding areas around the solarium spire..

"I told you he could do it..

"Hahahahaha.... Suck it you petty ass tower....

"Long live the one-punch maestro DANTE!!!!!

"DANTE!!!....DANTE!!!!!...DANTE!!!!"

Cheers and chants resounded throughout the place, Dante’s image reaching an all new high after such an unbelievable feat...

He had instantly become the crowd’s favorite, so much so that they’d stopped showing the other participants, no one had been interested in anything other than what would be the first to survive a single punch and after this stunt? No one would be interested in anything that didn’t involve the white haired menace...

"He actually did it...."

"That....that was a void-stargazer, and he just....."

Back on the platform, the supervisors were tongue tied...

The general audience didn’t know just what Dante had destroyed so easily, yet they were already beyond elated..

They, the supervisors, actually knew just what that THING was, and because they did, their shock was even more pronounced...

He didn’t have any business defeating that thing let alone one shotting it...

Hell, only those lineage monsters could even have a chance against such a thing and that would be if they were ON THE SAME RANK...

Meanwhile Dante just....

"Lord valen...."

"Yes.. he only has an E-rank talent, a support type talent in fact" Valen responded before the questions were asked, he didn’t need to be told what they were wondering..

"With all due respect, my lord... I call bullshit!" One of the supervisors couldn’t help but cuss...

"That..." he pointed at the screen that had gone blank the moment Dante’s punch landed, "isn’t something an E-rank talent can help you accomplish" he continued "I doubt even a SSS-rank talent could accomplish such a thing, I mean the Calder brat would’ve been smoked had he come across a Void-stargazer, no matter how restricted and limited it was, so my lord, please, what is his talent rank?" The man concluded..

They were going crazy..

The reports said Dante had an E-rank talent..

Yet the things he’d been pulling off screamed foul play..

They couldn’t possibly accuse him of cheating since it was clear to everyone that the tower itself, was actively trying to purge the scourge.

So that only left one option, either the brat was hiding his true talents or..

"You think I’m covering up his true abilities?" Valen’s indifferent voice replied to the man..

An involuntary shiver ran through his body at that tone of voice...

It was the same tone the man adopted when assuming fully his role as overseer AND THEIR SUPERIOR...

He realized his blunder immediately,in the heat of the moment , he’d just accused THAT MAN of withholding information...

’Shit!!’

His knees met the floor instantly as he hurriedly apologized, "nothing of the sort my lord, I was merely concerned about the boy’s true capabilities"..

"So you think yourself more worthy of judging a candidate’s capabilities than myself?"

"This.. I wouldn’t dare my lord, it’s just..."

"Just what? You think I know not what I’m doing? You think I’ll jeopardize the academy’s integrity by covering for one boy? What is it supervisor Karl??" Valen’s voice was still indifferent, not an ounce of rage or dissatisfaction..

But that was all the more reason why the supervisor, Karl, was currently sweating cold bullets..

"I...I...I..."

"I believe you need some rest Mr.Karl.." came the cold dismissal..

"My lord..."

"Should I repeat myself, your life would be too short to hear it"

That shut him up..

Valen didn’t do threats, he just spoke like it was merely facts..

The supervisor quietly stood up, bowed his head, then walked off the platform dejectedly...

"Anyone else wish to know more about the lad? Or question the authenticity of the information provided?" He asked, still not bothering to turn around..

Silence was what greeted him...

He didn’t bother speaking after that, his gaze steady on the blank screen, an expression of what seemed to be pride? Flashing briefly in his eyes...

Raven’s office..

"He actually did it..." Clarissa’s disbelieving voice could be heard clearly within the silent room..

Her words not reaching Raven who looked just as shocked as her friend..

"Just what the hell truly has Dante become??" She couldn’t help asking..

The boy that awakened a measly E-rank talent, the one they’d all been sad for and wanted to comfort.

That same boy just one punched a void-stargazer into oblivion...

The creature was heavily restricted, yes. But that hardly meant anything when it had the ability of absorbing anything thrown at it..

The black void it had for a face wasn’t for aesthetic coolness after all..

"Raven, I think it’s about time you tell me just what the hell is going on right?" She turned to her friend..

Her office and secretary demeanor fading completely, leaving only a friend in need of answers..

Raven finally snapped out her daze, she turned to her friend "I can’t tell you anything about what’s happening with Dante, that’s not my secret to tell" she said, pausing for a few seconds, "but I can tell you that the Dante you knew a few days ago, and the one you’re seeing now are two VASTLY different people, in fact, what you’re seeing now, as unbelievably shocking as it is, is nothing but the tip of the iceberg" she continued..

"So open your eyes well Clarissa and watch. Watch the son of my dear brother announce himself to the world. Watch as MY DANTE makes a statement. Watch him rattle those who’d wish him harm. For as of now, the True Dragon Son has finally arrived"....
