The very fact that it had "Denial" in its name told me more than words could.
Remembering what had happened during that confrontation with the dragon, my enthusiasm got the best of me...

I needed to see just what the hell I was dealing with..

Description-
A transcendent defensive talent that rejects the finality of damage by denying the legitimacy of harmful outcomes.
Rather than healing injuries after they occur, Chaotic Denial interferes at the conceptual level, forcing reality to "correct" itself into a state where the user remains intact.
It is not regeneration.
It is not time reversal.
It is existence refusing to accept destruction.

Fatal or critical damage is denied at the point of conclusion.
The body reverts to a prior valid state instantly.

It will snap back into continuity, as though reality "miscalculated"
• Denial Threshold Scaling:
The stronger the incoming attack, the more CE consumed. If CE runs out → denial fails → true damage applies...
This is the only real weakness

Works in tandem with <Chaotic Adaptation>
Repeated denial of similar attacks:

This was probably the most broken thing(besides Devour) I’d gotten since getting this system..
I’d never looked down on my Regeneration
(E) even if it brought me early mockery..
I’d known from countless novels that regenerative type abilities, when upgraded ended up being the sole reason the power system of a world stopped mattering..
And this.. this <Chaotic Denial> that my busted ass talent had evolved into just tore apart the script..
I just became unkillable..
Not for any reason other than the fact that reality denies the event of my death...
Yes, granted it drains my CE directly and not the mana equivalent, diminishing the advantage I had, but that’s hardly a cause for concern..
I had the absurd ability to Devour. I could basically just dump all my free points into my intelligence attribute and watch my CE skyrocket, Devour mana crystals to increase my CE cap the application was endless.
"I could basically become undying if I’m not oneshotted by something impossible"...
The realization settled within me.
A confidence suddenly blooming within me..
The Drakens..
The Demons..
The Dragons..
And whoever else had a hand in my parents death.
They no longer seemed so daunting.
When the subject of death was removed from the table, things looked way more manageable than they’d ever did..
"Truly, my MVP" I chuckled...
I was ready to call it a day and just go straight into devouring the delicious meal my lovely aunt had left me(the dragon’s corpse), because I honestly didn’t believe anything else could top what I’d just received from <Chaotic Denial>..
But...
"That’d be doing you a big injustice wouldn’t it?" I muttered to myself, speaking to the skill that helped me tear control and authority of the very storm from the dragon’s claws...
The skill that helped me deliver the finishing blow, enabling me to kill something I had no business killing..
Not at my level at least...

• Atmospheric Authority:
- User gains mastery over weather patterns, able to:
- Summon localized storms or clear skies..
- Manipulate wind, air pressure, and electrical discharges for strategic advantage..
- Create storm-based barriers or projectiles..
• Storm Blade:
- User manifests a tempestuous sword, dealing massive damage on hit..
- Blade can be wielded normally or thrown as a projectile (returns to user)..
- Each hit charges Storm’s Echo...
• Storm’s Echo:
- User channels the energy of multiple storm blades, unleashing a devastating, concentrated attack that deals massive damage to a single target
- Attack power scales with the number of storm blades "recollected" (up to 5 blades, each adding 20% more damage)
- Can be charged up to 3 seconds, increasing damage and crit chance..
• Eye of the Storm:
- User’s crits create mini-storms, amplifying allies’ damage by 20% for 5 seconds..
Cost: 100,000 MP/second

Okay, I know I said I wasn’t going to be surprised by anything again after seeing the effects of <Chaotic Denial> but I’ve got to admit.
"This shit is badass"..
Damn. Talk about overpowered..
Not only do I gain mastery over the very elements.
I can weaponize it.
And what were those ridiculous boosts?
No wonder I could overwhelm that dragon during the final moment..
It’s dominion over the atmosphere was no longer uncontested..
And based off of raw stats alone, I was head and shoulders above, that added to the already broken effects of <Divine Apotheosis> now compounded with <Storm’s Descent> if I hadn’t slain that dragon, then I really didn’t deserve to be alive, not with the number of broken things I had..
"I seem to be underperforming with the abilities I have huh?" I couldn’t help thinking..
After all, my raw attributes alone made me a walking disaster, granted there are unpredictable abilities out there that render raw attributes ineffective(the storm Wyvern’s atmospheric cloak) it still didn’t do justice the fact that I’m underusing them..
"Well that’s about to change" I affirmed..
No more underperforming..
No more underwhelming displays..
If I’m going go be the embodiment of chaos itself, then I didn’t have time to make excuses for being weak or outmatched..
"Alright then.. time for the main event.."
setting aside the thoughts plaguing my mind, I moved to the main item on the list..
Yes..
It was finally time to claim my true prize..
It wasn’t my evolved skills..
It wasn’t even my absolutely broken talent..

I moved out of my aunt’s rooms, a loose robe covering my body as I sprinted towards the back yard..
"Time to claim my true reward"
Bam!!!!
With a wave of my hand, the massive dragon’s bisected corpse landed with loud sound, a cloud of dust riding up..
"Hehehe, time to devour me a fucking dragon"
