Chapter 69: Chapter 77: This Won’t Do

Having received Nina Rice’s pep talk, Jane Sampson held her mobile phone and suddenly quieted down, her index finger sliding across the touch screen, though it was not clear what she was looking at. Her delicate eyebrows furrowed and relaxed in turn, her face a drama.

"What are you looking at?" Nina leaned in for a peek at Jane’s mobile phone screen.

"I’m searching for things that men hate when women do, I’m trying to learn from these experiences," Jane said as she slid her mobile phone toward Nina, then read out loud, "This post lists ten things, starting with ’delete the games from his computer’."

After saying that, Jane shook her head, "I have no chance to do that. It’s not just on the computer, he doesn’t even have games on his mobile phone." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Jane even suspected that James Black was the kind of person who didn’t even play Snake Game.

"I think the second one can work," Nina suggested, reading, "Set your photo as his mobile phone screen, his social media accounts, and in his wallet, just put your photos everywhere."

"Am I sick?" Jane rolled her eyes.

"You’re not sick, but you have to act like someone who is," Nina tapped Jane on the head, "You have to do something that makes others think you’re sick, then he’ll get annoyed at you."

With Nina saying this, Jane suddenly felt that Nina’s words made a lot of sense. She decided that next week when she saw James Black, she would do just that. After all, when James is at home, he mostly just tosses his mobile phone onto the tea table. James was the type who wouldn’t touch his phone all day unless he was answering a call.

"The third one," Nina suddenly raised her voice, laughing out loud, "Throw away his adult videos, hahaha, this one’s really fierce!"

"I don’t even need to look. I swear to God, James Black wouldn’t have such a thing. He must have never even watched those," Jane was utterly certain regarding this point.

Given James’ utter lack of technique in that area, if he had watched any, it would be a miracle!

Nina looked skeptically at Jane, thought for a moment, and forced out a sentence, "It seems like Brother James Black really is... a paragon of virtue~"

Receiving another eye-roll from Jane, Nina directly snatched Jane’s mobile phone away and said, "These posts on the internet aren’t really useful. If you truly want to annoy Brother James Black, I’ll teach you a method that’s guaranteed to work."

Before Jane could ask, Nina began, "Do you know what men hate the most about women’s behaviors? It’s when they cling like a snail. As soon as you’re out of his sight, you start making frantic calls asking him where he is, what he’s doing, who he’s with, and all sorts of other questions. Since Brother James Black is often at the guard team, there’s nothing you can do that would be more annoying than that."

"That won’t do," Jane waved her hand repeatedly, "James is very busy at the team base. Sometimes he has meetings, sometimes training. If I call him like you suggest, it would interfere with his work."

"Anyway, you want to divorce, why worried about his work?" Nina asked.

"I want to divorce him, but I don’t hate him to the core; I can’t do something that would affect his work," Jane bluntly rejected the suggestion.

Aside from always trying to control her, James wasn’t bad to her. He was cold in nature, but that was toward everyone, not just her, so it didn’t count. Moreover, before his rebirth, James had risked his life to save her. So, even if Jane desired a divorce, she wouldn’t use such a method that would severely disrupt his work.

"Mmm, that’s good, very conscientious of you," Nina patted Jane on the shoulder and then suggested another method, "Then every day before sleep, around eight or nine o’clock, give him a call."
